I watched a sermon by John MacArthur and he happened to mention how he’d been married this amount of years and had X amount of kids and like 17 grandkids or something and how he was baptizing them all and everything was just hunky dory for all involved.. I remember thinking this is a red flag… shouldn’t calvinists be worried about having kids that they may not be “chosen”? And how luck is john MacArthur that all his people are chosen but the lady in the pew may only have one of her three “chosen”.. I’ve never heard a Calvinist say they or their kids are predestined to hell… am I understanding this correctly? Thank you and your team for the clarity, truth and hope you bring to us… I love you guy
Calvinists forget we are made in the image of God. God holds us responsible for the free will choices we make. We are not robots. "Choose you this day whom you will serve."
Keep up the good work! I think some Calvinists preachers believe that if they yell loud enough that it means it's truth. How horrible to say that God would will, even one man, to sin. Even with "hardening," God isn't making the person sin but is "strengthening" their resolve to sin....giving them over to the sin. God wants and desires righteousness to reign. It was all absurd. Especially when he spoke about "free will" because it's a non-free free will. Why? Because the man's will has been predestined by God to do and speak and perform every thing he does. There is no free will in Calvinism.

Hello. Here is a copy and paste from one of Dr. Hank Lindstrom's articles on Hebrews 6:4. Hope this helps. Can a person who has been saved lose his salvation? This question has been a perplexing one to many. Maybe you have been questioning the genuineness of your salvation. Are you really saved? Are you really sure? Consider the alternative, that you could lose your salvation. By virtue of the fact that you could lose it, would mean that keeping salvation would depend upon you efforts or actions. In other words, a person who says that he can lose his salvation for whatever reason, is in reality saying that he is trusting in human works to save himself. Look at Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace (mercy) are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.” Salvation is not of works; therefore a person who is trusting in his works is not and will not be saved. What are we saying? Plainly stated: a person who says he can lose his salvation is not saved or he is thoroughly confused and lacks assurance of salvation. If you are not saved forever, then you are not saved. Let me say it again. If you are not saved forever, then you are not saved. Have you ever noticed how Bible commentaries skip difficult passages? It can be very frustrating because usually a person buys a commentary to help them to understand a difficult passage. Well, Hebrews 6:4-6 falls into that category. Many times people skip over or ignore Hebrews 6 because it is difficult to understand. Often Hebrews 6:4-6 is misinterpreted to teach that a saved person can be lost after they have been saved. To teach that a saved person could be lost would mean that you would contradict many clear passages that say the exact opposite. A good rule to remember when interpreting difficult passages in the Bible is as follows: Whenever you have a passage that is difficult to understand you never allow it to contradict a clear passage on the subject. In other words, you should interpret a difficult passage in the light of clear passage. You should never contradict a “verily, verily” verse. For example, Jesus said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” When Jesus said “verily, verily”, He was saying “truthfully, truthfully”. Why? Did Jesus ever lie? The answer is NO! Jesus did not and could not lie because He is God. Titus 1:2 tells us that God cannot lie. Jesus was simply saying, “This is a truth not to be passed over.” In John 6:47 we have a truth so important that if a person misses this truth he or she will go to hell for all eternity. The secret of eternal life is no secret. Jesus said plainly, “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The only condition to this offer of EVERLASTING LIFE (NOT TEMPORARY LIFE) is BELIEF (TRUSTING IN CHRIST). Don't contradict a clear verse like this one. With this in mind, let's look at Hebrews 6:4-6. “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6 Notice that the passage is talking about those who are saved. There are five things said about them that demonstrate this truth: First, “Those who were once enlightened” refers to a saved person or one who has seen “the light” of the Lord Jesus Christ. The same word “enlightened” is translated “illuminated” in Hebrews 10:32 and speaks of a saved individual. Second, “tasted of the heavenly gift” refers to salvation. Romans 6:23 says, “The gift of God is eternal life.” Ephesians 2:8 says that salvation “is the gift of God.” The word “tasted” is used in Hebrews 2:9 saying Christ “tasted death for every man.” We tasted of the heavenly gift in the same way Christ tasted death-that is, fully and completely. Third, “We're made partakers of the Holy Ghost.” The Bible teaches in Romans 8:9, “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” In other words, if you don't have the Holy Spirit you are not saved. The moment a person trusts Christ as Saviour he or she partakes of the Holy Spirit. If you do not have the Holy Spirit, then you are unsaved. Fourth, “Tasted the good Word of God.” The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural (unsaved) man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Only the saved man can taste of the Word of God. Fifth, “The powers of the world to come.” Only the born-again man has experienced the power of God. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” A person who is born-again has experienced the power of God. “If they shall fall away” is not referring to salvation but it is referring to the “Christian life”! Hebrews 6:1 tells us that the writer is speaking about things that accompany salvation. Hebrews 6:1 tells us that the writer is talking about maturity in the Christian life and not about how to be saved. Well, what is Hebrews 6:6 talking about? Verse six is simply stating to Hebrew (Jewish) believers who were used to a yearly sacrifice that it was impossible for them to be saved again because “by ONE offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified [the believers in Christ] (Hebrews 10:14).” Hebrews 6:1 tells us that we cannot “lay again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.” If a believer falls away from serving the Lord, the procedure is not to become saved again. That is impossible. It is impossible to “renew” them again unto repentance (the change of mind necessary to accept Christ as Saviour). Hebrews 6:6 warns that if you try to become saved again all you do is crucify Jesus Christ afresh to yourself, thereby shaming Jesus Christ. The Bible does not teach that one must be born again and again and again, etc. You can only be born-again once, never to be cast out (John 6:37) or lost (John 6:39). Salvation is complete and final. (Read John 5:24). The solution for a believer fallen away from service to the Lord is to start serving again. We are encouraged by the words of Hebrews 6:10, that “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” God will reward faithful service to him. (See I Corinthians 15:58). God wants us to grow in knowledge of Him, to serve Him and to mature. Lack in these areas does not mean that we have lost our salvation. That is why it is impossible to get saved again (Hebrews 6:6), because it is impossible to lose salvation (Hebrews 13:5). To try to become saved again (impossible) shames Jesus Christ who has saved us forever (John 6:47; Hebrews 9:12; 10:10; 10:12-14, 17, 18). To serve Him again brings glory and honor to Him (John 12:24), and His blessing and reward is upon us (I Corinthians 15:58).
Regarding the issue whether God causes people to sin. I would also think that this is outrageous. If God knows that someone will sin, God can use that in his plan (as He did with Judas Iscariot). But God will not cause someone to sin. However, what about Exodus 4:21? God influenced Pharaoh in order to make him act in a way that could be considered evil.

If you follow his line of reasoning, God caused Eve to sin. My question also is, If God isn’t sovereign, why did Satan have to ask His permission to tempt Job? Actually the Calvinist is not wrong that God created sin and that God knew man would sin when He created man with the option to sin. What the Calvinist fails to do is properly comprehend why it has to be that way and the Calvinist fails to understand that it's precisely because of free will and therefore defeats their arguments for their theology. If God didn't hang the forbidden fruit on the tree, man wouldn't be sentient beings at all. We'd just be "moist robots" as Frank Tureck has coined the phrase. So the Calvinist is not completely wrong when he says that God caused us to sin. It's also subsequently why God pays our penalty for sin in full, if we choose to accept the gift. This paradigm completely defeats their arguments against free will and it totally reinforces God's sovereign decree that we have free will.

How do you know if you are being chastened by god because I heard every believer goes through chastening or your not saved like what would you go through if you are being chastened
You could be ignorant or in a sinful lifestyle to where you don’t recognize the chastening. Nonetheless, God can get your attention. The promise is that God will chasten (Heb 12), and it is our responsibility to respond to that chastening correctly. Chastening could come in many forms; pains, sickness, loss, etc… God may even convict you according to His word and cause you great grief because you know better. I would argue that is a form of chastening. It is probably the first form of chastening because His word has the power. - Trent
So I’m thinking the Calvinists commit the same error that Muslims do. I heard from a Sunday school class that “free will” is not found anywhere in the Bible . Technically, that is correct, the words never appear in the context of a human making decisions (free will offering is the only example I believe?). But uh oh, neither does the word Trinity. There are a lot of doctrines that are evident upon inferences in Scripture that are never explicitly stated. I highly doubt Calvinism denies the Trinity, but act like it matters that the words need to be mentioned in order for it to be true.

Doubt happens, falling into false doctrine can happen, don't worry about it, just keep bringing your doubts to God when you pray. God will take care of the rest, wrestling with those questions is how God will grow your faith, he'll reveal what should assure you through his word, don't take my word for it, read your bible, he'll strengthen you over time, it'll be alright. Preachers like pastor Jesse bring the truth according to the scriptures, learn what you can, but only lean on God's word. God Bless you.
Yes, if you believed that Jesus died, was buried, and is risen paying for all your sin, then he gives you eternal life in that moment. The eternal life, justification and your position in Jesus Christ would never change, even if you stopped believing 5 minutes later. - Trent

I'm torn on part of this foreknowledge verse predestination thing. I am very sure the Calvinist idea is wrong but I also find the foreknowledge teaching to be the same thing but just inverted. Your example of king Herod's decree and Christ being saved and yet other babies in that town were not spared. Yes, God saved his son, but he also allowed the others to not be saved. God did not cause it. Now if I knew someone was going to do something bad and I could prevent that person from doing it, I'm partly guilty for not doing the right thing especially if another person gets hurt in the process. So that illustration doe not fix the idea of foreknowledge verse predestination. The term fullness of time is often mentioned in the bible, and to me that means something had to get in place for the next thing to happen. God does things, some how inserted into our time and place for his greater purpose. I to often here a good teacher say how predestination for salvation is wrong teaching and then they hop right over to the foreknowledge teaching. Sorry that doe not work for me....
Hey there! I see what you’re saying. One thing I wanted to note is that we believe in predestination and foreknowledge being perfectly in line together rather than versus one another. Predestination is that God has simply determined some things beforehand (particularly destination), and we believe that this is based upon if a person believes. One example is in Eph. 1 regarding adoption. He “predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ.” This “us” is believers as we know from 1-4. Believe then receive. The foreknowledge of God is simply his omniscience of everything - especially that if knowing things before they happen. This is very evident in his character, and it is particularly evident in his proclaiming and advancement of prophecies. It’s just that his foreknowledge does not cause these things. He knows, and he therefore destined the outcome based upon man’s decisions. He does not always work this way because we see that God elects beyond man’s will, but that is not regarding man’s salvation. God elects man to a service; Paul was elected to preach to gentiles, kings and much more. The example given is not necessarily out of line. God knew it would happen, and he allowed it. We know God does not stop every evil from taking place, and this is of upmost relevance to the free will discussion. Man freely chooses to sin, but God does not cause such. Just because God knows it, allows it, and does not stop it does not mean God is now guilty of the sin itself. He is perfect, and he cannot sin. Notice, those children were quite young, so it is of my personal belief that they are all in heaven. Nonetheless, you get my point surely. The utter depravity of man is so wicked, nasty, terrible and completely sinful. Nonetheless, man can freely choose to believe or reject God cf John 3:15-18. Evidently God in all his sovereignty (rulership) and omniscience (knowing all) allowed for man to be given the free choice to accept or reject. This ultimately puts the responsibility and consequences of man’s decisions upon himself rather than God. @@BibleLine Yes, after commenting I read Ephesians 1. For me the best way to read that; it is God's plan, through Jesus Christ, that all who believe in him will have eternal life. God's plan, and his plan will not fail. No need to use predestination or foreknowledge. Those words without proper definition in the context, and clarity people will take that right down the Calvinist road. To me they come across as God is in control and we have no control, and I will fall right into the Calvinist trap. Well, Theodore actually does a good job representing the full extent of a nearly fatalistic Calvinist view. We do not misunderstand such. God picks and chooses beyond and "free will" of humans who will go to hell and who will go to heaven, right? Yet one knows he is chosen by the amount of supposed "fruit" one has in his life? Is that not free will? It's a giant contradicting circle of monstrosity that turns God into a monster. Salvation is free to ANYONE who simply places their (free will choice - not works..) faith in Jesus Christ for the full payment of their sins. Have you ever noticed how Bible commentaries skip difficult passages? It can be very frustrating because usually a person buys a commentary to help them to understand a difficult passage. Well, Hebrews 6:4-6 falls into that category. Many times people skip over or ignore Hebrews 6 because it is difficult to understand.
Often Hebrews 6:4-6 is misinterpreted to teach that a saved person can be lost after they have been saved. To teach that a saved person could be lost would mean that you would contradict many clear passages that say the exact opposite.
A good rule to remember when interpreting difficult passages in the Bible is as follows: Whenever you have a passage that is difficult to understand you never allow it to contradict a clear passage on the subject. In other words, you should interpret a difficult passage in the light of clear passage.
You should never contradict a “verily, verily” verse. For example, Jesus said in John 6:47, “Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” When Jesus said “verily, verily”, He was saying “truthfully, truthfully”. Why? Did Jesus ever lie? The answer is NO! Jesus did not and could not lie because He is God. Titus 1:2 tells us that God cannot lie. Jesus was simply saying, “This is a truth not to be passed over.” In John 6:47 we have a truth so important that if a person misses this truth he or she will go to hell for all eternity. The secret of eternal life is no secret. Jesus said plainly, “He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The only condition to this offer of EVERLASTING LIFE (NOT TEMPORARY LIFE) is BELIEF (TRUSTING IN CHRIST). Don't contradict a clear verse like this one. With this in mind, let's look at Hebrews 6:4-6.
“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance, seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6
Notice that the passage is talking about those who are saved. There are five things said about them that demonstrate this truth:
First, “Those who were once enlightened” refers to a saved person or one who has seen “the light” of the Lord Jesus Christ. The same word “enlightened” is translated “illuminated” in Hebrews 10:32 and speaks of a saved individual.
Second, “tasted of the heavenly gift” refers to salvation. Romans 6:23 says, “The gift of God is eternal life.” Ephesians 2:8 says that salvation “is the gift of God.” The word “tasted” is used in Hebrews 2:9 saying Christ “tasted death for every man.” We tasted of the heavenly gift in the same way Christ tasted death-that is, fully and completely.
Third, “We're made partakers of the Holy Ghost.” The Bible teaches in Romans 8:9, “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” In other words, if you don't have the Holy Spirit you are not saved. The moment a person trusts Christ as Saviour he or she partakes of the Holy Spirit. If you do not have the Holy Spirit, then you are unsaved.
Fourth, “Tasted the good Word of God.” The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 2:14, “But the natural (unsaved) man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Only the saved man can taste of the Word of God.
Fifth, “The powers of the world to come.” Only the born-again man has experienced the power of God. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth.” A person who is born-again has experienced the power of God.
“If they shall fall away” is not referring to salvation but it is referring to the “Christian life”! Hebrews 6:1 tells us that the writer is speaking about things that accompany salvation. Hebrews 6:1 tells us that the writer is talking about maturity in the Christian life and not about how to be saved.
Well, what is Hebrews 6:6 talking about? Verse six is simply stating to Hebrew (Jewish) believers who were used to a yearly sacrifice that it was impossible for them to be saved again because “by ONE offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified [the believers in Christ] (Hebrews 10:14).” Hebrews 6:1 tells us that we cannot “lay again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.”
If a believer falls away from serving the Lord, the procedure is not to become saved again. That is impossible. It is impossible to “renew” them again unto repentance (the change of mind necessary to accept Christ as Saviour).
Hebrews 6:6 warns that if you try to become saved again all you do is crucify Jesus Christ afresh to yourself, thereby shaming Jesus Christ.
The Bible does not teach that one must be born again and again and again, etc. You can only be born-again once, never to be cast out (John 6:37) or lost (John 6:39). Salvation is complete and final. (Read John 5:24).
The solution for a believer fallen away from service to the Lord is to start serving again. We are encouraged by the words of Hebrews 6:10, that “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love.” God will reward faithful service to him. (See I Corinthians 15:58).
God wants us to grow in knowledge of Him, to serve Him and to mature.
Lack in these areas does not mean that we have lost our salvation. That is why it is impossible to get saved again (Hebrews 6:6), because it is impossible to lose salvation (Hebrews 13:5). To try to become saved again (impossible) shames Jesus Christ who has saved us forever (John 6:47; Hebrews 9:12; 10:10; 10:12-14, 17, 18). To serve Him again brings glory and honor to Him (John 12:24), and His blessing and reward is upon us (I Corinthians 15:58).
Regarding the issue whether God causes people to sin. I would also think that this is outrageous. If God knows that someone will sin, God can use that in his plan (as He did with Judas Iscariot). But God will not cause someone to sin.
However, what about Exodus 4:21? God influenced Pharaoh in order to make him act in a way that could be considered evil.
If there is no such thing as free will, then there is no such thing as disobedience.

Actually the Calvinist is not wrong that God created sin and that God knew man would sin when He created man with the option to sin.
What the Calvinist fails to do is properly comprehend why it has to be that way and the Calvinist fails to understand that it's precisely because of free will and therefore defeats their arguments for their theology.
If God didn't hang the forbidden fruit on the tree, man wouldn't be sentient beings at all.

So the Calvinist is not completely wrong when he says that God caused us to sin. It's also subsequently why God pays our penalty for sin in full, if we choose to accept the gift. This paradigm completely defeats their arguments against free will and it totally reinforces God's sovereign decree that we have free will.

You could be ignorant or in a sinful lifestyle to where you don’t recognize the chastening. Nonetheless, God can get your attention. The promise is that God will chasten (Heb 12), and it is our responsibility to respond to that chastening correctly. Chastening could come in many forms; pains, sickness, loss, etc… God may even convict you according to His word and cause you great grief because you know better. I would argue that is a form of chastening. It is probably the first form of chastening because His word has the power.

So I’m thinking the Calvinists commit the same error that Muslims do. I heard from a Sunday school class that “free will” is not found anywhere in the Bible . Technically, that is correct, the words never appear in the context of a human making decisions (free will offering is the only example I believe?). But uh oh, neither does the word Trinity. There are a lot of doctrines that are evident upon inferences in Scripture that are never explicitly stated. I highly doubt Calvinism denies the Trinity, but act like it matters that the words need to be mentioned in order for it to be true.
Who would even want to sit in that church and being yelled at like that, even if it was biblical truth he was yelling? I wonder what he smoked or drank before the church service 🙉

Right, we must believe the scripture, but free will is evident in scripture. “If ye will do this… I will bless you, but if ye will not do this….” - God states this multiple times toward Israel.

Salvation being a choice of free will to believe does not mean that the individual is working for salvation. Believing in God’s finished work through Jesus is not a work. Jesus did the work, but we believe in Him.

Is it possible to believe the gospel for like 5 minutes then doubt or forgot you believed it and still be saved cause I heard people say if that’s the case you didn’t actually believe it because you would not constantly doubt it or forget that you believed it
Doubt happens, falling into false doctrine can happen, don't worry about it, just keep bringing your doubts to God when you pray. God will take care of the rest, wrestling with those questions is how God will grow your faith, he'll reveal what should assure you through his word, don't take my word for it, read your bible, he'll strengthen you over time, it'll be alright. Preachers like pastor Jesse bring the truth according to the scriptures, learn what you can, but only lean on God's word. God Bless you.
Yes, if you believed that Jesus died, was buried, and is risen paying for all your sin, then he gives you eternal life in that moment. The eternal life, justification and your position in Jesus Christ would never change, even if you stopped believing 5 minutes later.

I'm torn on part of this foreknowledge verse predestination thing. I am very sure the Calvinist idea is wrong but I also find the foreknowledge teaching to be the same thing but just inverted. Your example of king Herod's decree and Christ being saved and yet other babies in that town were not spared. Yes, God saved his son, but he also allowed the others to not be saved. God did not cause it. Now if I knew someone was going to do something bad and I could prevent that person from doing it, I'm partly guilty for not doing the right thing especially if another person gets hurt in the process. So that illustration doe not fix the idea of foreknowledge verse predestination.
The term fullness of time is often mentioned in the bible, and to me that means something had to get in place for the next thing to happen. God does things, some how inserted into our time and place for his greater purpose.
I to often here a good teacher say how predestination for salvation is wrong teaching and then they hop right over to the foreknowledge teaching. Sorry that doe not work for me....

I see what you’re saying. One thing I wanted to note is that we believe in predestination and foreknowledge being perfectly in line together rather than versus one another. Predestination is that God has simply determined some things beforehand (particularly destination), and we believe that this is based upon if a person believes. One example is in Eph. 1 regarding adoption. He “predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ.” This “us” is believers as we know from 1-4. Believe then receive.
The foreknowledge of God is simply his omniscience of everything - especially that if knowing things before they happen. This is very evident in his character, and it is particularly evident in his proclaiming and advancement of prophecies.
It’s just that his foreknowledge does not cause these things. He knows, and he therefore destined the outcome based upon man’s decisions. He does not always work this way because we see that God elects beyond man’s will, but that is not regarding man’s salvation. God elects man to a service; Paul was elected to preach to gentiles, kings and much more.
The example given is not necessarily out of line. God knew it would happen, and he allowed it. We know God does not stop every evil from taking place, and this is of upmost relevance to the free will discussion. Man freely chooses to sin, but God does not cause such. Just because God knows it, allows it, and does not stop it does not mean God is now guilty of the sin itself. He is perfect, and he cannot sin.
Notice, those children were quite young, so it is of my personal belief that they are all in heaven. Nonetheless, you get my point surely.
The utter depravity of man is so wicked, nasty, terrible and completely sinful. Nonetheless, man can freely choose to believe or reject God cf John 3:15-18. Evidently God in all his sovereignty (rulership) and omniscience (knowing all) allowed for man to be given the free choice to accept or reject. This ultimately puts the responsibility and consequences of man’s decisions upon himself rather than God. No one can go to hell and claim “I have an excuse because you never picked me!” Cf Roman’s 1:18-22

@@BibleLine Yes, after commenting I read Ephesians 1. For me the best way to read that; it is God's plan, through Jesus Christ, that all who believe in him will have eternal life. God's plan, and his plan will not fail. No need to use predestination or foreknowledge. Those words without proper definition in the context, and clarity people will take that right down the Calvinist road. To me they come across as God is in control and we have no control, and I will fall right into the Calvinist trap.

Well, Theodore actually does a good job representing the full extent of a nearly fatalistic Calvinist view. We do not misunderstand such. God picks and chooses beyond and "free will" of humans who will go to hell and who will go to heaven, right? Yet one knows he is chosen by the amount of supposed "fruit" one has in his life? Is that not free will? It's a giant contradicting circle of monstrosity that turns God into a monster. Salvation is free to ANYONE who simply places their (free will choice - not works..) faith in Jesus Christ for the full payment of their sins. Acts 13:38-39, 1 John 2:1-2, John 3:15-18 and 1 John 5:10-13 make this very clear.

After the consummation even Satan is graced with immortality, after He abolishes death.
As to conduct of the elect, yes., once saved always saved, but those who don't endure to the end, whose conduct is determined at the Dais or Bema of Christ to be less than ideal, your allotment in heaven or on earth will be adjusted accordingly.
