Love love love the curls. I used the same curl pattern but different brand for my first crotchet / latch hook install. I wanted a fuller look so I just used more hair. I love how forgiving this hair is. I did the cornrows and install myself after watching dozens and dozens of how to videos on YT. I love the fact that this hair is not heavy yet very full. I also love that I can care for my hair and scalp with ease. I liked your braid pattern and may try it in the future.
Love this!!! I was looking for something short and appropriate for my 5yr old and THIS will do nicely!! She natural so I could even make this look Sven more fro-like! Thank you!!!
Thank you for this tutorial. I've been wanting to use the soft dear hair but didn't know how the curls would turn out because i didn't want to leave them in the Shirley temple style. Thanks for sharing!
I love your outcome. It would have been nice to have seen your braided hair pattern before you started. Also, it really wasn't clear how you did the top and front part. otherwise this is just the type of hair I'm looking for. If you get it wet (like swimming) do you know what happens to this hair ...will it frizz or tangle and will it have to be removed. Thanks for keeping your video simple and straight to the point without a lot of filler convo.
Love your video. Just wished you would have shown your braid pattern since it sets the foundation for that awesome hair style you did. Saw this hair in my local hair beauty store and was NOT interested. But after seeing your video I am out to purchase it now. My daughter is 12 and she experienced some hair falling out this summer (breakage in the back of the head). She has always been a fan of braided bobs and now wants her hair to be open. Thank you so much for your video. I'm guessing in reference to the braid pattern you braided 2 braids back down the middle and the rest to the sides connecting them. Thank you again
I love your hair. Especially the way you cut and styled the hair. In taking good care of the hair besides sleeping in silk bonnet is there anything special you put on the hair?
I saw this hair in the store yesterday. I LOVE the style you created!! How do you care for it? Do you use a bonnet at night? Will this hair work in Jamaica? Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you. I would advise you to use a bonnet for longevity. All I did was fluff and go. I never used product. The hair didn't tangle at all. The curls will try to link up kinda like when you twist your natural hair before bed. I was always separating them in the morning, but they did well. The hair is good and I think it will work anywhere. I'll have an update video up this month. :)
I think I found my new crochet hair thanks for the review:) I have a few ?'s did this hair last a good six weeks, how did you prep the hair for sleep, how did you moisturize the hair. Thx!
Nina C I took it out after 3 weeks, but it still looked like new. I just put on a bonnet to sleep and never used any product on it at all. I just shook my head, fluffed it a little and called it a day.
I looove it! Love the curly look. This might be the one I use for the winter instead of the Marley braids. How long did you keep it in? How did you keep YOUR hair moisturized during that time? I'm thinking of using my water & oils spritz on my scalp but would that disturb the texture and curl of the hair? Please let me know. Thank you for the tutorial.
I like your hair. My crochet has been up for 5 weeks and I am ready to change to a different type of hair. Do you think the hair will look good for at least a month?
How long did the install take? Also you wrote you used no product. Does that include on your base braids as well? Great video. Please keep them coming :)
Thanks Pamela T It took approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to do everything. I didn't use any product on the extensions, But I did spray my base braids with African Pride braid sheen spray. :)
So I come in the beauty supply to buy some more Boheiman Braid hair (didn't buy enough the first time) and saw this hair and found your video. All I need to know is did you try washing/rinsing your hair while you had it in?? I'm sure due to texture your would want to disturb the curl but because it's a crochet style you should be able to get to your scalp. I workout and need to be able to put water on my scalp... HELP!!! I'm in the store now. Lol
Sorry for the delayed response. It did get wet, but I never washed it. The hair strands kept coiling around each other like it was re-twisting itself. It was the strangest thing. lol. Anyway, the curls actually didn't get disturbed when I moisturized my scalp. I workout too and it behaved pretty well.
I leave my hook open as I go into my hair and close it on my way out. Don't mind me, I was installing this hair and was on to see what style I would end up with.😄😄
Love love love the curls. I used the same curl pattern but different brand for my first crotchet / latch hook install. I wanted a fuller look so I just used more hair. Yvonne Friend-Fields Aww, thank you. I'm so lazy with my pattern. It's a shame. lol. You're right though, the hair is forgiving. :)
Very pretty. It is so amazing that you can do your own hair so well.
+carolbeea Wow, thanks. :)
This was short and sweet. I love the results and would like to try this hair. Lovely!
Short and sweet is what I do. lol. Thank you. :)
Love this!!! I was looking for something short and appropriate for my 5yr old and THIS will do nicely!! She natural so I could even make this look Sven more fro-like! Thank you!!!
+AR Chery Oooh, it would look super pretty if you made it look more like a 'fro.
+Pure Estrogen
Yeah! I put it in a few days ago. I'll definitely separate it for a for look when it gets a little older! Great idea
+AR Chery *fro look
Love love love the result! Frames your face beautifully!!
+Damaris Roulette Thank you. :)
This turned out so beautifully. You have some talent, girl! This might be my next style.
+sdennis334 Thanks so much. :)
Thank you for this tutorial. I've been wanting to use the soft dear hair but didn't know how the curls would turn out because i didn't want to leave them in the Shirley temple style. Thanks for sharing!

+stephanie love Thank you. I don't think it will frizz up. It will still keep the same curls when wet.
Love love love!!!! 😍 thank you so much lol I never would've gotten this hair and i didn't wanna spend the extra money on curkalon hair just yet lol
Aww, I'm glad you love it. Thanks for watching. :)
Very cute... if only I could braid my own hair....
Jessica Hale-Tann flat twisting is an option as well. give it a try!
Jessica Hale-Tann I still can barely braid. smh.
I made an attempt but my braiding was horrible.... they keep unraveling.... but the hair is holding up ok... So we'll see how long it last..
omgoodness. that was beautiful

+DESEREE Young You're welcome. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely be more thorough in the future. :)
+Pure Estrogen did I guess it correct with the braid pattern. You braided the top portion to the back and the other down to the sides connecting it
omg this is just beautiful!!! love it!
***** Aww thanks. :)
Great results. Thanks for the video
I love your hair. Especially the way you cut and styled the hair. In taking good care of the hair besides sleeping in silk bonnet is there anything special you put on the hair?

Dejah K-H I can't remember how long I kept it, but the curls were still popping when I removed it. I spritz my hair too and nothing affects the curls.

fyfloyd1 I sewed them down.
