How good fakes are becoming is a true testament to how poor and lazy the design has become from designer brands. Like 400 for sweatpants? You deserve to get counterfeited due to laziness of design.
Yeah but they also copy some of the complicated stuff but I get what ur saying
where im from in County Durham the number 1 snide SI items are Raso Jackets folowed by the jogging bottoms mainly worn by the local chavs. I mean there is a market about 10 mile from me where there is a stall that only sells fake stone island gear and some of the items are a joke, but the thing is there is always a queue of people waiting to buy, and i mean the stuff must fall apart as soon as they walk away. The brand itself has been so lowered in the area, it's unreal, thats why i stick to the vintage market and shadow project stuff (i do love my Errilson Hugh Stealth Jackets) i think i have every 1 he done. and a few rarer lightweight summer CP Goggle jackets, I dont know about you mate but have you noticed a dip in quality from about 2011/12, to me there seems a marked difference.

Excellent point raising the issue about cut Certilogo’s on legit items , seems more common on current season stock with some online grey market sellers , older pieces from previous seasons are normally sold complete with CLG tags , maybe authorised stockists have a 12 month exclusive deal on pricing ?
Blessed day 🙏 thank you for great informative streams. Saw recently that someone bought a Stone Island piece from flannels then tried to sell on ebay. The item had to be taken down as it was fake,,imagine. Past 3 years I've just bought directly from Italy.

All the reps that i have had have been trash the materials don`t last very long on trainers and with clothing it feels cheap and if you buy one you`ve been ripped off because you wont get rid of it, if you do people wont be happy so the problem continues, if you are buying for yourself and you have low expectations then go ahead but i still don`t see the point because you can get used pre worn for the same costs and its still 100% better, these fakes can trick you at first if they are really close, but you will still catch on sooner or later, haven`t seen these reps yet so ill have to investigate further thanks for the info

@@casual_dresser they just send some known people that are about to review their product someone like u the best of the best made replica so u cant talk negative about it but as a normal costumer if u buy u get a shit made piece and if u buy through a agent when it has a defect on it they do not exchange it and claims it has no defect u should mention this dark stuff too man this guys also has a very dark side fam

A question I don’t really know how to answer. Difficult one.
This guy is problematic for several reasons. Firstly, I seriously doubt his involvement in the enterprise at all. People who operate things like this don't draw attention to it. There is no art just a business model. I think he's in love with the idea that he is some kind of sub-culture hero. He knows little about how certilogo works, he doesn't explain any detail that couldn't be assumed and his idea concerning future fake proofing with NFTs is laughable. A log book for an item of clothing? It can't work purely for data protection laws and that's just to begin with.
His disconnection between his actions and and the ramifications are most annoying - either he is young and naive, a sociopath or lying. "I don't want to be the one responsible" - well stop making them. The certilogo being cut or not doesn't stop the item existing. It's like saying you sell guns to terroists but you don't sell them bullets because you have morals.
There is SO MUCH he has shown he doesn't understand. Fake items merely *look* like the original but don't perform like them. His comments surrounding SI profit margins are unfounded as he has no first hand knowledge and clearly no real world experience of the industry. If he went through all the fabric treatments, reasearch, development, marketing etc then he would have to mark them up. These fundamental lapses in knowledge make me think he is little more than a patsy let loose by the suppliers - let alone the shrewd fraudster he wants to be.
Thanks for making the video but you really should have destroyed the jacket rather than "gift" it if you care about the brand. They need taking out of circulation.
Agreed the profit margins for stone island are high but a large reason for that is the innovation from the brand over the years... name a few; heat reactive, hidden reflective, glow in the dark as well as all of the prototypes. In my opinion that has lead to the huge popularity today and the brand being so mainstream. I can't see how real fans or collectors of the brand could ever buy fakes. I don't see how this 'new' ninja stone, won't get raided by the police like busy stone was? 🤔
Agreed pal, but unless a serious collector, many dont care anymore and just buy fake. I also agree on the police thing, surely it gets shut down..... strange how it was shut down over the name and branding rather than the clothing lol Thanks for engaging in the channel.
