I swear the drummer(s) she works with is super talented and very unique. Ghost's composition is one of the most unconventional; very different from mainstream songs
@@surr3al305 I think this one trips him more than Ghost, because it sounds simpler, while having the same level of complexity. The melody is also weird to, it's almost all in tension. Her voice delivers. It feels like you don't need to understand the lyrics to understand her feelings. Really shows how well-composed this song is (and all of her original songs), and how Suisei really knows what is she doing.
@@maxhaibara8828 it also shows that even if she collabs with other people i.e Taka Inoue, she gets picked EXACTLY because of that voice. He ended up writing Stellar Stellar and my god is that song is a banger.
I knew Kakero would trip him up in the middle, as per tradition with all of Suichan's songs, but damn he got blindsided. Props to him for bouncing back so well. The dude is ridiculously talented to do these blind.
Ever since Next Color Planet (it has no real drum), seems like Sui-chan made all of her songs to have such a crazy drum pattern just to bamboozle Jerod lmao. What funny a coincidence.
I love how the progression and patterns in Sui-chan's songs tend to end up being unconventional in a certain way? It's giving me that kind of vibe where the song already sounds great on its own, but at the same time it gives a refreshing and different feeling on the instrumentals Cheers to Jared on this cover attempt, that was really sick. He defo tried to drag the tom parts before the final chorus and can really see him hoping to go at it again and play better. Kakero's amazing
It's those unconventional uses of the percussion in her songs as of late that have been tripping Jerod up since they're obviously not typical of the usual beats of songs. Though, these quick changes in beat in Japanese Pop songs are not new - but they make playing these songs difficult when playing them blind.
0:47 Look at his left hand. It only takes him one measure to figure out the rhythm of the chorus. I’ll have to replay it a bit to figure out the timings but you go Jerod.
I love how hard he gets juked by those little triplet bits. This song has such a wicked beat to it, I'd love to see him cover it again but not blind I reckon he would kill it!
Suisei seems to be the only one that gives Jared trouble with blind covers, and even then he still kills it. Man's unstoppable

suisei's music is the best

the drummers in suisei's song is just built different
when you hear that rolls you know you're gonna have a good time
@@lawliet617 SHiN is the drummer and yes man he is wild with the drums
Wow, I've seen him struggle with blind covers of suisei, but this is the first time I've seen him owned imo. Still awesome as usual though.
Lol yeah, there are so many unorthodox changeups its practically impossible to not get owned playing it blind.
he still struggle in the middle of song lol.. but still awesome..
It looked like he struggled more on Ghost. That was one hell of an arrangement lol

Just goes to show how much of a musical genius Suisei and Hololive are.

Always fun for me to see people's reaction to Sui-chan's songs, especially those who have no idea what Hololive is.
Really dificult song to blind cover, together with ghost
I always thought that the8bitdrummer would have a good time playing kakero. I wasn't disappointed. This song is a banger and so is his blind cover.
Geez its just got released and he already did a cover! This man is speeeeeeed!! Love the clip thanks !
The chat is speeeeeeeeed
Dang must be the fastest he’s been at covering, ngl i was excited to see a blind cover
i love that one guy that says what anime is this
lmao that one dude in chat at 0:53 "What anime is this?"
I show suisei to a streamer and he called her blue miku 😭😭😭
0:47 Look at his left hand. It only takes him one measure to figure out the rhythm of the chorus. I’ll have to replay it a bit to figure out the timings but you go Jerod.
wow that was fast, it hasnt even been a day since the mv released and he already has a cover of it

The drummer on her songs can easily be the best drummer in japan but he's humble 😂 fr dude the drums on all of her songs are INSANE
I feel like this song is made for him to cover. That drum is so good!
even though it was blind still so good. i loved it even more because it was fun watching him reacting to the confusing parts.
his blind covers really are amazing, even with all the confusing parts in Sui’s songs he still does great
2:09 WAH!

goddamnit! so good in blind cover!
his blind cover always be worthy to impress
Damn, he is speed

I cant say i didnt see this coming
My air drums skills worked a lot this session
I dont know why, but this song gives the the strangest "2000's high school rock festival movie" nostalgia
“I don't speak koyoyoy” really caught me off guard 💀
Man's just so good, doing this song blind is just amazing
I wish I could've been there, such a wonderful blind cover!
Unless you're really familiar with Mikito-P's style, this is a hard track to blind-cover. Props to Jerrod though!
man i was waiting for this, thanks!
that was so fast.. but that was a really good cover, love it !
Jerod always makes a fun song even more fun
sometimes I forget he does this blind
8bit killed another one like sheeeeeesh
