Genuine tears from my eyes. Escape the madness of this world with the best autotune pipes given by you sir from your late adventure in life. Ty so much for that.
Yes sir, these organs are fun. It is a Castlewood. The kit comes from Australia. You can purchase on line. All wood parts are laser cut making assembly great.
Glad you enjoyed the song!! The kit is from Castlewood Pipe Organs in Australia. Check GOOGLE for Website. All parts are laser cut and fit together very well.
Bob, I admired the finish you gave your Castlewood organ so much that when I built mine, ( number 165 ) I gave it a somewhat similar finish. The construction and finishing process was a lot of work but I enjoyed every bit of it. Your other instruments are all wonderful as well. Really beautiful work.
Very good. It's great to see another Castlewood organ playing so well. I own number 130, whick took five months to build. I hope you post some more videos.
Such a nice song and what a beautiful instrument, I can tell I really want to waste my money on it already, I know I'll only use it a few times but I'll love it
Really glad you enjoyed this!! The organ uses punched music rolls much like a player piano. Pre-punched rolls are available Online. Many songs are available.
Glad you enjoyed this. The organ was assembled from the Castlewood organ kit, Australia. All parts are laser cut and it goes together nicely. Thanks! bobh
I'm glad you enjoyed the street organ. Its great to know of others with like interests. Your posted videos are fantastic: lute, Mole In The Ground, incredible astronomical device dating to B.C. and cartoon from 1933. Thanks very much. bobh (John 3:16)
Hi John. Good to hear from you again. The Castlewood was constructed from the kit. It was not modified in any way. I see you are now 69. I turned 69 Nov 15th. I'm glad to report construction on your Universal Organ beginning July 7th. I spent three evenings in backyard looking at the plans, drawings and watching the video. Almost decided it was beyond my ability but decided to just make the D# bass pipe and keep on reading. Now I'm well into it! Thanks for the fantastic project! Bob
Just great, to keep all those old handmade music instruments showing to the youngters of today that there are so many amazing things out of those iPhne!
There is a slight resistance in the crank cycle each time the bellows close. Since the two crank option was available I decided to use it. The cranks are set 90 degrees apart. This helps maintain a consistant turning speed. Some years ago I machined a two cylinder marine steam engine with cranks set in this way. Maybe that's where this idea came from!
Really glad you like the finish on #139! I'm pleased you were able to get some ideas for finishing #165. Your comments are truly appreciated. These 20 note organs are great. BobH
Castlewood Organs makes the kit for construction. The 20 note Paper rolls are supplied by Melvin Wright in England. There may be another supplier in Texas. Can't recall name.
Bob: Actually I was inquiring about the organ you built from the Popular Mechanics December 1982 plans. I have built the Castlewood and enjoyed that project very much.
i Enjoyed this video. Every last one second of it. Thank you for gaving me the opportunity to listen to a sailor's horn pipe. I am curios about one thing tho: In what age it was commonly played?

Best ever! This is what these organs are all about- pure joy!
