To fix the canon tower it needs:
1) Same or more HP than princess tower
2) Range issue needs to be fixed
3) Needs to fire slightly faster
I think this would properly buff it and make it viable.
Nah hp should be same not more, I feel like if it shot slightly faster it would get broken but other than that the range buff is good.

why more HP? I don't think hp is issue, less hp is fine, range should be slightly more, and little bit faster so that it doesn't die to naked bats. otherwise it looks balanced.

Nahh my first time seeing ian getting 3 crowned and that was against a hard counter... even now he put up a good resistance another proof he is the best player in the world.
Ian is like the cannoneer he only shoots (uploads) once every day and his damage (video) is 4x better than the princess tower (everyone else)

I feel like the only buff the canoneer tower needs is range. If they made it so that it can shoot far enough to reach the bridge (meaning starting to shoot way before ennemy troops inside your field and preventing all damage from things like dart goblin), it will also work towards one tower helping the other in defense.
Yeah im pretty sure rn the range vision of the canoneer is oval shaped which is extremely bizzare

I 100% agree with your statement about staying calm. Staying calm is what makes control decks like splashyard so consistent because you know that you have strong defense and only need to worry about overcommiting. That is also probably the root of a lot of xbow wins as people panic when they see it.

I think the range and health should be same as princess tower, but I also think it should have an effect that can do up to 15% more damage depending on the health of the troop when finishing it off. This would help prevent more overspill.
I think cannoneer is OP since the defense is cost so low against some matchups basically you can commit on attack and easily get away with cheap defense in most of the matches

Hey Ian I have a very good suggestion about canoneer if u can contact supercell..the troop beside canoneer can shoot spears that hit only ground like princess tower so Goblin barrel/gang and graveyard can be bit less scary..this makes up for less hp it has..dont know may become op but its a good solution against graveyard..bats will still be scary so not game breaking
Given that range is improved, health is increased and it shoots slightly faster (but still slow) it can be quite good. You definitely want to use mother witch with it, ofc graveyard will always be a hard counter. They could also make it have a slight splash like skelly drags but that is probably too op then since swarm units are often bunched up
11:50 can confirm, when i'm angry, i always play some giant skelly hog or barb barrell gy 1st play and probably lose and i'm even angrier 😅
I think this tower has to have evo valk and Poison in almost every deck. Like minor 3.0 i love that deck you should play it

He is valuable in some situations it’s really good that the devs made it balanced or below average in some situations yet still people are whining imagine if they actually made the tower better than the princess
Not whining, just pointing out that it's just a worse option overall than the princess tower. If they made the new content accessible to all players then it would be nice if they could balance it to be usable. I don't see a problem with wanting the new content to be usable and accessible.
While it's pay to play it's better thay the card is garbage though
What supercell needs to do is reduce the time that it shoots, maybe even changing the hit speed to 2.0, or give it some kind of area damage as it gets countered by a tombstone.

@@mbotela9979 I’m one the people who pointed out very early on how bad the cannoneer against graveyard if there’s no poison there’s a high chance to lose even pro player struggle against graveyard
I also agree the cannoneer is balanced however it's matchup dependent because if you play aginst golem or e-giant you are fine but against decks like logbait or graveyard....yeah you lost

I need some advice from the best player in world. I've been playing lumberloon for the past 5 years and no matter what modification I do it doesn't seem viable. I've been trying a lot of meta top ladder decks that you have recommended for the past year and I am struggling. Any advice you could give me please!
winning most matchups against GY with cannoneer. Use poison for the GY and do not block the bridge now. Using your Giant Sk+Q but with poison. Cannoneer counters all skeletons, bomber, archers etc. SO another way to get positive trades. Even logbait is not bad as it 1 shots Rileys

The range is 100% not the same. In a 2-tower game, the princess tower always helps out if you let the troops normally move upto the king tower, but not the cannoneer lol

The cannoneer has a smaller sight range on the sides but it has the same range as a princess tower, meaning the kaited troop will have to be closer for the cannoneer to shoot it, but after that it'll keep shooting it with the same range as the princess tower

When everyone is running mk and PEKKA and expensive decks
But for cycle decks above 6000…it’s very difficult to keep up with the pain of bats, skeletons, graveyard, goblin gangs just knawing at your tower…80 damage at a time🥲🥲🥲

Honestly I feel like the new tower troops is kind of a bad idea, I would have liked for them to implement something different, maybe a tower ability that would be able to activate for elixir like champion abilities
They could have given us a series of abilities and releasing more over time and with the cost of 1 to 3 elixir we could activate it X times per game
For example we could say:
Cannonier ability for the tower, can be used 3 times in a game, for 2 elixir cost the tower adds a cannon on it’s side for 7 seconds
Wouldn’t it be cooler?

There’s a bit of a misconception for tikka masala, it’s actually a Bangladeshi dish, but just got incorporated into European and American India restaurants at some random point. Indians are more vegetarian and don’t like to support the meat industry out of non cruelty/non violence reasons so tikka masala is not as popular

I play splashyard, it’s the perfect deck for cannoneer, it struggles against tanks more than swarm. I’ve been playing it in the challenge, undefeated!
As an Indian,if you are talking about chicken tikka masala then it is quite famous here,although I haven't ate it because I am pure vegetarian 😅😅,and if you are talking about panner tikka masala(vegetarian) then it is quite famous too

The range issue is because the cannoneers' range of sight is oval shaped rather than circle shaped (like every other troop/building)
So it can either have more range than the princess or less. I'm not sure why they did it like this, especially since they both say the same range in stats.
I don't think it's an oval, more like there's a hard coded restriction on when it can shoot. RoyaleAPI has an article that says a troop must be on its half of the board for the cannoneer to shoot it
@@bobth6095 Perhaps. I didn't really look too deep into it to confirm. I was going off of the launch video. They even say it had higher range than the princess, which would be true if it was an oval shape (despite advertising the same range on stats)
