Probably the biggest reason that I believe this life is a dream, is because our entire experience resides in our mind. I've meditated into a dream, I've projected. Waking consciousness, dream consciousness...it all feels like different scenes from behind the same glass.
The reason why I often think that my life is but a dream is because I often had the feeling of being able to shape my surroundings, to produce unlikeable "coincidences" or synchronicities by pure, focused will. And in my dreams I also often had the ability to shape my surroundings, if I was concentrating the right way.

When I was a kid I used to always think like, what if this world was all a dream and I’m going to wake up soon. I actually started thinking recently that when I dream I’m living another life. Or multiple life’s in different realities, instead of thinking of life as a dream.
Thinking like this really does change your perception of reality, you can really get to notice those who are asleep and those who are awake, just by stepping back, observing and becoming present within this very moment. You begin to notice the beauty of life, for instance I’d be walking and just observing life, seeing the mechanical way in which people live there lives shrouded in maya (delusion). I do a bit of dream analysis and I might be able to help you figure some things out. Your dreams are manifesting how you are feeling. A lot of objects and people and situations in your dreams are symbols. Some symbols are universal but some symbols are yours entirely. For ex: two people dream about an elephant. One person recalls fond memories with his family at the circus and enjoying the elephant. But the other dreams of an elephant and it recalls bad memories of being frightened at the zoo. With that said, I will give your dream my best shot:
You are in a house that doesn’t belong to you. That could mean that you are feeling lost. You are in a vehicle but you aren’t the driver. That could mean that you are not feeling in control. You want to connect with people but you are having difficulty. And it seems that you don’t feel in control of your career either. These are stress symbols, sweetie. I have found that the only way that I can control my stress is to purposely try to find and extend love in all of my daily activities. Miracles happen when I do that and my stress is gone. I hope this helps you! Blessings!!
I had this thought years ago.. I remember walking down the aisle at a local Walmart when a random child being pushed in a baby carriage decided to play this song around the exact moment I had this exact thought. In lucid dreams I remembered saying something and it would appear right in front of me, example: I would say, "Hurricane" and a hurricane would appear right before my eyes. If life is a dream, then we are powering the government with our imagination, every time we accept one of their Hollywood movies into out minds, we think it, therfor it must now happen.
The more fear they feed us the more of our imagination comes to fruition literally controlling our mind state to create their own reality it’s really sick👁🤯

This came at the right time because daily this year especially, I have been having so many deja vu moments like I am on some form of DMT when I am not at all. I have also lost my appetite like I find no need for food as much so my fasting has become easier while my actual dreaming when asleep has become more vivid and I need time outdoors at least once in the day daily or else I feel unbalanced. I thought it was my daily yoga and meditation but it just seems so dreamy and surreal so this came at the right time for my thoughts.

I was thinking like you was at around 7yrs old. I remember waking up one morning and thinking: “What if I’ve just started to exist today and all my memories have already been placed in my mind but I haven’t even lived them”. I then thought: “My life may be a dream”.
I think so too My dream life is more active, I’m always doing something , Most of my dreams are memories I don’t know how and why that happens Sometimes I see myself in different body in a dreams and they’re very vivid

Idealism, you are just a tiny bit of consciousness experiencing the great Consciousness, which still is you, like how you create your dream, the people and everything but you forget you are in a dream just to wake up realizing you were the dreamer, so essentially we are the Universe or God take your pic, but we have forgotten that we are in a dream, like how Time if not Fundamental so it's hard to even dismantle this, and the fact that Quantum Mechanics proves that an observer is needed for reality and observation.
The universe is the mind It is impossible to hallucinate We are all one There is only life. Form is formed from a single infinite potential consciousness which takes up all the space. What we are, fundamentally, was never created.
You know the Bible says heaven is a place that we literally create ourselves. When i read that I thought of lucid dreaming. I think it’s important to practice it and master making your dreams. When I manifest people, they always come out weird, or deformed, but i keep trying.
6 pieces of evidence that you are a dream. Law of attraction & manifestation Glitches in the matrix Mandela Effect Placebo effect Dinosaur paradox Double slit experiment Why do thoughts sometimes seem to pop into your mind from nowhere? The real you is dreaming your ego life. Your ego was created in this dream. Pretty much everything you think you are is your ego The only part of your mind that isn’t ego is the part that just observers everything without judgment, bias, or attachment From this pure state of self, manifestation is instantaneous
So much makes since. This explains why the very 2nd thing I experienced on my 1st trip was the profound awareness the past falling into the void and the future constant emerging from it! My bois didn’t get it. This also explain why High Dreams feel so liquid, yet energetic and so very hard to hold onto. My awareness of the outline out my body is barely even there. The dream and I melt together and only has one perspective, so it end. Beautiful explanation as always Ryan
The concept of using drugs or another shortcut to acquire a higher spiritual level can be more harmful than helpful. Its basically like building the first floor of a house without a foundation.
When we dream we can control that dream and because dreams aren't controlled by time which is man made they last for ever but last for seconds.we spent sometimes more of our life dreaming than living...maybe dream state is the higher version of life...manifestation is like how we control dreams..life is a reflection a echo
Last night I had several false awakenings, falling sleep within dreams and lucid dreams. I am just starting to feel like I am really awake now. I will avoid behaving like I did in the dreams to avoid mental hospitals. I think what matters about this question is what makes it a dream? Do other people need to be non-experiencing NPCs? Do I have to wake up in some other world? If I die and stop existing, is that what makes life real? What if someone were born asleep and died asleep after 80 years? Dreams would be all he knew, does that make it real for him?
Sounds a lot like NBC's 2012 show Awake. The main character lives a life where he got in a car crash with his family and lost his son, but his wife survived. He then goes to sleep and wakes up to a world where he lost his wife in the car crash, and his son is alive. Each time he goes to sleep, he switches back and forth between each life. 🤔
I had a dream in another life and my two 'sisters' were actually supportive of me feeling like I need to go back to my reality. I told them things they didn't know about our world, I will always be greatful for them trying to understand
Very interesting subject! Actually it's for the first time that I might realized I sleep even when I am "awake" (meaning not sleeping). Something to meditate about for sure. Thanks! Still, one question remains: how can we keep this awarness on a daily basis? I believe that this would help us have conscious OBE - from lucid dreaming for exemple.
Ryan it's really interesting that today you are the second person whom I have listened to talk about dreams being real and our lives being a dream. I don't know what is happening. I am trying to figure it out.
Thanks Ryan! ❤️ You uploading this video today is a bit of a synchronicity for me because I've been thinking along similar lines lately. Something I've been looking into recently are the claims of the "reality shifters" such as Shimmey Shay and Victoria Christmas here on YT who speak about being able to "script" a "desired reality" and then jump into and experience it. I've encountered dozens of such shifting stories and all of them say that it feels just as real to them as this everyday waking existence and they are fully conscious there. Some have even said they have remained in that other reality for weeks, months or even years at a time while mere minutes or hours pass in our "current reality." What's especially strange is that the most popular destinations for reality shifters are places that originated in fiction such as Hogwarts. Obviously shifting would make zero sense within the traditional "materialist" view of reality that predominates within the scientific community, but if life is a dream, then it makes perfect sense. Reality shifters are just choosing to experience a different dream. Anything that is imaginable can be dreamed, so that is why shifters are able to experience a place we think of as fictional. And if this reality is ultimately a dream, then that would explain why the "desired reality" a shifter experiences seems just as real to them as this one. So that has led me to the conclusion that reality shifting being a thing has revealed a deep truth about the fundamental "dream-like" nature of the external world we experience. Interestingly, the methods shifters use to be able to shift have a lot in common with astral projection methods. Fascinating stuff!
If you could see life from the eyes of your subconscious mind, it would probably look very similar to the dreams you perceive at night. I think there are higher states of being beyond this that would follow a similar principle
one one with the stream, you know what was really interesting Ryan Cropper I unlocked astral projection 24/7 by realizing the projector is the projection
Just a suggestion. Read the first part of "Origen of the World" in the Nag Hammadi library. A "mind" is given to a certain someone. So then, who's dream is it and how many are dreaming within dreams? If you keep reading, you will find some who simply think a thing and it materializes, just like in a dream. And this is the origin of the world, so it says.
Always enjoy your videos, been watching for years now. Would you ever touch on the topic of food or nutrition again in any way? Anything new in your personal journey or update? New food habits you’ve gained being a parent? It’s been awhile so I was curious. Hope all is great with life ✌🏾
It has been really difficult for me going through this, accepting it, because I don't like it. I don't like everything being formless. And I fear that when I wake up from this dream, it would be just me. It makes me feel lonely. I don't like that this is what it has to be
bro honestly i totally feel you, i had the same fear. but i came to the conclusion that you can only feel lonely from this current POV of being an individual person with a mind, seperate from the rest of the world. if you ever did longer meditations where you basically remained in the state of being pure awareness without any thoughts, then its just pure bliss, you cant feel lonely there, nothing is lacking or missing, everything is perfect as it is. imo after death we will be in this state but certainly even a million times more beautiful than we could ever access it here and probably kinda different too, its impossible to imagine it from our current point of being a human i guess. but i trust, that its beautiful WAAAYY beyond our comprehension :') hope that helped you out a bit! you are not alone!
Had a really strong ego death off of shrooms and definitely felt like I was in a whole different world even maybe consciousness and when I looked back on my life it felt like it all was a dream crazy how so many people who have done psychedelics have had this same experience
When your spiritual eye awakens, you realise this is the dreamworld and you are an astral traveler, therefore you can now create your own and not be a spectator in someone else’s.
Dreams are worlds you have created by yourself. It's like the homework you do in last minute. It's unrefined, rules are shaky and it's not functioning like it should be. In this context the real world is like a dream because dreams are worlds you've created yourself. The real life the physical world you are seeing now is a big project that has been developing for a long time. Perhaps by multiple beings. The only real thing are the beings, everything else was created and shaped by them just like this world we are seeing. Think of it like video games. Every video game is a world. You exit and enter these worlds as you please. Once you reach a certain level with your being I'm sure that it's possible to plug in and out of many worlds as you please just like video games. Anyway in this context yes, the real world is a dream a big refined and well designed dream
Dreams and waking are just different bardos, different states of 3D consciousness. In my dreams I never have a role. Funny. I'm just me, experiencing, reacting.
Ryan, love your videos. On the topic of dreams -- I had a dream last night. I felt I was walking through some haunted house with long dark passageways and there was some presence lurking around. It was really scary and I started freaking out. Then in my dream, I asked myself why am I in this house? Then it dawned on me that I was dreaming, while I was in the dream. Then I asked myself why am I having this dream?? I then got a download all of a sudden. The message was that whatever, I process in the dream state, I don't need to it experience it in my waking life, because I have already experienced and processed it in my dream state. It kind of makes sense for me and was relieved that I don't really have to have those unpleasant experiences in waking life since I have encountered and processed them in my dream state. What are your thoughts on this? Would love to know what you think.
When I was 5 to 6 years old back in the '80s, I still remember that I told my mother that I'm too shy to go to the bathroom, and she asked me why, I told her that I thought that other people are watching us living our lives exactly how we are watching other people living their lives on TV, she found it very funny but now I think it was the wisest thing I ever said in my life. I still remember pondering about where we were before coming into this world, for some reason I imagined a universe made out of nothing but rainbows and that we were in an everlasting loop of sliding over the rainbows before we ended up in this world.
The one that would wake up is a dream character. You are a dream character. I am a dream character. A mirage. An appearance that appears to appear. What, why, when, how, or where are all part of the dream illusion. Waking up has nothing to do with who you are. Nothing comes from nothing. This dream has no cause, no reason, and no source point. Even the experience or the evaluation of waking up is part of the same illusion.
ive had experiences where i was suddenly tiny and everything was vast, more than once. I've also had everything stop just stop and both strange experiences.
God damn, you fucked with my brain man. I have been feeling that everything is a dream or that I'm not sure if I'm awake. Been seeing a lot of things related to the topic out of nowhere. You made things a lot clearer dude, thanks.
Omg, I just thought of something after Ryan said that we don't realize we're in a dream until we wake up and recall the dream. What if that's what death is? What if in death, we are waking up into a different reality and "remember" that the life we lived was just a dream? You know how they say your life flashes before your eyes right before you die? What if that's the transition part where you're waking up and you start recalling your "dream" life? Death might be the end of this dream but after death is the beginning of a new dream... Just a thought
I prosses reality and my dream state as one. what is Reality? is it what you feel, see, smell if so, when I go to sleep sometimes i forget i'm lucid and be living my day to day in the pocket of my mind, tends to get annoying because by the time I come to the realization in a "dream" I wake up.
Synchroicities or manifestations…other people call or coincidence…thinking about a friend and the moment after, receiving a call from him or getting unexpected money just when you needed it…this reality works just like a dream and yet if feels the strongest

Exactly what I was thinking my dude
We are like batteries to the matrix
The more fear they feed us the more of our imagination comes to fruition literally controlling our mind state to create their own reality it’s really sick👁🤯
@@timowilliams542 Reading your comment flashed the verse, "Forgive them, for they no not what they do" it's a paraphrase, but that's what came to mind.
@@PCProphecyThis is a late comment, but exactly. We accept what we don’t even want.
I thought it was my daily yoga and meditation but it just seems so dreamy and surreal so this came at the right time for my thoughts.
my girlfriend said that when she sleeps sometimes her dreams are of another life and she thinks dreams sometimes are a bridge to a parellel life or reality. I appreciate your vids g keep uploading! Love
I was thinking like you was at around 7yrs old. I remember waking up one morning and thinking: “What if I’ve just started to exist today and all my memories have already been placed in my mind but I haven’t even lived them”. I then thought: “My life may be a dream”.

Wise, intuitive child.
sameee bro😂❤
I think so too
My dream life is more active, I’m always doing something ,
Most of my dreams are memories
I don’t know how and why that happens
Sometimes I see myself in different body in a dreams and they’re very vivid
When I was a kid, I hurt people because I didn't believe they were real. Luckily, I didn't inflict any life threatening injuries. I also made up a story and got my dad in a lot of legal trouble.
That's super interesting what you said about challenging the script in dreams and reality, I notice that happened in my dream recently where I told the fellow dream characters that this was just a dream, and that it was an illusion, and they all started hitting me and attacking me lol That's when i started charging up energy and it felt like I was getting hit by stuffed animals. The same thing happens in waking life just like you said. Thanks for sharing Ryan. Very insightful video.
When i tell my dream characters theyre in my dream, i always get different reactions. Some are fascinated, some laugh. That’s cool to see you do that too! :D
@@tinyblonde I love that :) Yeah sometimes I will run around my dreams yelling I'M DREAMING I'M DREAMING GUYS hahaha Its pretty funny. Its been a long time since I did that though, but the reactions are always interesting. Awesome that you experience similar
Yes 👁 have questioned the song and been aware since a child that 👁 allwaes questioned things from nursery rhythmes to anything in between.
thanks for the reminder :)
Dream Yoga is a practice that allows to feel this waking life as a dream, In order to make it more flexible and maleable
Were fragments of God the universe experience itself through the observer
It's a waking dream. There is no spoon. Hence the mind projects concepts onto no-thing
Fantastic stuff brother, today I was wondering what decides to wake up from a dream and what decides to wake up from this life
The universe is the mind
It is impossible to hallucinate
We are all one
There is only life.
Law of attraction & manifestation
Glitches in the matrix
Mandela Effect
Placebo effect
Dinosaur paradox
Double slit experiment
Why do thoughts sometimes seem to pop into your mind from nowhere?
The real you is dreaming your ego life.
Your ego was created in this dream. Pretty much everything you think you are is your ego
The only part of your mind that isn’t ego is the part that just observers everything without judgment, bias, or attachment
From this pure state of self, manifestation is instantaneous
Awesome video brother, this life is somewhat an exciting drama, a preferred dream at this time
When we dream we can control that dream and because dreams aren't controlled by time which is man made they last for ever but last for seconds.we spent sometimes more of our life dreaming than living...maybe dream state is the higher version of life...manifestation is like how we control dreams..life is a reflection a echo
I actually tapped my phone to check notifications and this popped up the moment my finger tapped the screen
Nice!
Dreams would be all he knew, does that make it real for him?
its also past lives . we are all one
And I feel there is a benefit to this realization?
I had a dream in another life and my two 'sisters' were actually supportive of me feeling like I need to go back to my reality. I told them things they didn't know about our world, I will always be greatful for them trying to understand
Very interesting subject! Actually it's for the first time that I might realized I sleep even when I am "awake" (meaning not sleeping). Something to meditate about for sure. Thanks!
Still, one question remains: how can we keep this awarness on a daily basis? I believe that this would help us have conscious OBE - from lucid dreaming for exemple.
Meditation and astral projection helps! 👻
Live your life as if it were no more than a dream. It is not.
Ryan it's really interesting that today you are the second person whom I have listened to talk about dreams being real and our lives being a dream. I don't know what is happening. I am trying to figure it out.
Synchronicity!
Some have even said they have remained in that other reality for weeks, months or even years at a time while mere minutes or hours pass in our "current reality."
What's especially strange is that the most popular destinations for reality shifters are places that originated in fiction such as Hogwarts. Fascinating stuff!
intro is so weird i was just singing that to myself
My lucid dreams always become more and more unstable as I consciously manipulate the dream.
I wish I knew you in real life. It's like you looked into my brain and thoughts the last 6 years and put it in words.
Does Ryan have a calming, soothing voice or am I dreaming? 😴
Dream Coach ✨ Thank you Ryan another inspiring video helping us navigate thru this journey through this dream! Much Love 🧡💛💚💙💜
And this is the origin of the world, so it says.
nothing is real , the universe is meaningless. which this up lifting because no matter what you go throw it doesnt matter
Always enjoy your videos, been watching for years now. Would you ever touch on the topic of food or nutrition again in any way? Anything new in your personal journey or update? New food habits you’ve gained being a parent? It’s been awhile so I was curious. Hope all is great with life ✌🏾
Great idea! I'm sure that topic will come up again.
I got the words “life is but a dream “ tattooed on my shoulder in 2012. ♥️🖤🖤
A construct.
Frozen in stoicism.
Eager as a stone.
Compliant with all that is shown. Because life didn’t want to live alone.
It has been really difficult for me going through this, accepting it, because I don't like it. I don't like everything being formless. And I fear that when I wake up from this dream, it would be just me. It makes me feel lonely. I don't like that this is what it has to be
This is a speculation not the end all be all, I'd say take it with a grain of salt and make your own conclusions, don't just listen blindly.
I've tried babysteps, but since Ayahuasca I feel everyday as déjà vu, and knowing the future in the present is not cool, takes the discovering out
bro honestly i totally feel you, i had the same fear. but i came to the conclusion that you can only feel lonely from this current POV of being an individual person with a mind, seperate from the rest of the world. if you ever did longer meditations where you basically remained in the state of being pure awareness without any thoughts, then its just pure bliss, you cant feel lonely there, nothing is lacking or missing, everything is perfect as it is. imo after death we will be in this state but certainly even a million times more beautiful than we could ever access it here and probably kinda different too, its impossible to imagine it from our current point of being a human i guess. but i trust, that its beautiful WAAAYY beyond our comprehension :') hope that helped you out a bit! you are not alone!
übrigens grad gesehen dass du scheinbar auch deutsch bist ? :D ich auch, wohn in hamburg und du ?^^

Do we all share one big dream that is life? I always wonder this when many characters I met question this reality as well
Taking things less seriously will make then that much more realer.
Had a really strong ego death off of shrooms and definitely felt like I was in a whole different world even maybe consciousness and when I looked back on my life it felt like it all was a dream crazy how so many people who have done psychedelics have had this same experience
After psychosis when recalling the experience I said "..when I dreamed".. psychosis is just quite literally dreaming while awake..
When your spiritual eye awakens, you realise this is the dreamworld and you are an astral traveler, therefore you can now create your own and not be a spectator in someone else’s.
what is the background music used? anyone know?
Collective dream 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
@@TheFifthWorld22 It's like a server where a lot of beings can connect. The only constant are the beings everything else is shaped by them
I like your theory. reminds me a lot of that vaporwave game Broken Reality. Thanks for the info
Very nice. Loved the reminder
Very calming💨🍃
also this is my physical form on this planet, my true body is in the astrals/ in the sirius star system.
I always used to think. What if enlightenment is becoming lucid in your waking life(dream)?
I love you Ryan!! Thank you
Dreams and waking are just different bardos, different states of 3D consciousness. In my dreams I never have a role. Funny. I'm just me, experiencing, reacting.
Amazing as usual. ♥️
It’s mainly nature for me, like the grass is just sooo green sometimes my mind cannot comprehend
6:45 also I am everything
The one that would wake up is a dream character. You are a dream character. I am a dream character. A mirage. An appearance that appears to appear. What, why, when, how, or where are all part of the dream illusion. Waking up has nothing to do with who you are. Nothing comes from nothing. This dream has no cause, no reason, and no source point. Even the experience or the evaluation of waking up is part of the same illusion.
ive had experiences where i was suddenly tiny and everything was vast, more than once. I've also had everything stop just stop and both strange experiences.
I started by thinking this is a computer simulation, then it dawned on me that I might be dreaming and my body is somewhere ....God knows where
God damn, you fucked with my brain man.
Just a thought
tips for being more aware while dreaming?
I prosses reality and my dream state as one. what is Reality? is it what you feel, see, smell if so, when I go to sleep sometimes i forget i'm lucid and be living my day to day in the pocket of my mind, tends to get annoying because by the time I come to the realization in a "dream" I wake up.
Please please please do more video about this theme!!!
Synchroicities or manifestations…other people call or coincidence…thinking about a friend and the moment after, receiving a call from him or getting unexpected money just when you needed it…this reality works just like a dream and yet if feels the strongest
Sometimes I wonder. Thank for the Vid:)
Yep
Totally agree on all 6 points. Synchronicity belief and meaning could maybe be 7, 8 & 9.
Wow, idk(i think i do, but i don’t) why, but after Watching this video, for a second i kinda thought about what you said about us kinda being in everything, and I thought about the kindest people i know, and I started(and still am while while writing this) crying out of nowhere.
I think I needed this
