It's not about the moves. No one should be expected to never repeat a move in a 1v1 tourney from the start of a tourney all the way through to the finals. It's about style and musicality. Just hitting the beats is not musicality. You should be able to confidently do a round with only top rocking and footwork and have it make people go "wow"
