Thee very first anime i ever watched and its still my favourite anime today. Always get shivers down my spine when i watch this opening and all the memories from 2002 of attacking everything in my garden with a wooden sword shouting konoha reppuu. only thing i had a problem with in this series was its abrupt ending that left soo many questions. This needs more seasons!!
This Op gave me nostalgia for a show that I've never even watched and know nothing about. I really miss old anime sometimes, we do have some really good modern shows but a lot of them somehow lack the raw soul and sincerety of older anime.
I actually remember when I got into anime and despite being generic I just found this anime to be okay and enjoyable I’m probably one of the few people who’s not frustrated with this anime because the comment section people seem to be mixed or don’t know this show existed but back then I found it on RUclips which is 2013
I consider myself lucky when I found this title for sale at Right Stuf... it was $19.99 for a complete set.. don't regret anything.. it was another rare gem
@@satoshi4304 Mate, it's been damn-near 15 years. If you think I remember the love triangle shenanigans of this show then you've got way more faith in my memory than I do. Though personally, I liked Ruri way more, and I think they end up together in the manga. Might be remembering that detail wrong though.

I come back to this OP every now and again cause I love it and I'm very surprised at how many Japanese comments are here now. Years ago it was mostly English comments although some seem to have disappeared (I remember one top comment way back then mentioning how they were surprised at how many views this got even though the series wasn't well-known and the first reply was that there are people who have watched this on repeat lol.)
i personally never watched still but around like 2008/2009 i remember seeing fanmade animated videos with pokemon characters instead of the original ones(a parody)?

タイトルが思い出せなくて、
つい最近になっていろいろ調べて
タイトルがわかったアニメ。
めちゃくちゃ思い入れの深い作品。
このあまりにも強烈に哀愁感をかき立てるイントロが本当に懐かしい。
作品を知らずにこの曲とOPだけを知ってたから、病院に置いてあったこの漫画をたまたま読んで、この曲がこの作品のものだったと気がついた時はマジで感動したなぁ

今読み返すとどちゃくそ可愛い
当時小学校2、3年生くらいで何となく見てました。イントロとサビのメロディーだけ未だに覚えてて、何のアニメか思い出せず、メロディー検索して約20年ぶりに見るこの映像にたどり着き、色々思い出しました。良い曲ですね

現代では絶対に作れないであろう、当時だから出来た完成度。

このオープニングは衝撃的過ぎて、速効でCD買いに行き、東京アンダーグラウンドのコミックもまとめ買いした覚えがありますね
当時地元ではやっていなかったのですが、文化放送で聴いていたのでこの曲聴くとその頃思い出します。ちなみにアニメもあとあと全話見ました。
人生で初めて買った漫画！それがアニメになった時は嬉しかったなぁ。今になっても私の中で1番の神作品です！
