- The Baroque bell tower of the main church of Veduggio (Italy) was designed by the best Lombard architect of the 17th century. The tower houses a beautiful concert of five bells, made in 1839 by a foundry in Varese. The five bells were accurate and in tune, except for a few imperfections that led the foundry to remake the fourth bell as early as 1840.

The bells are playing the traditional concert, which consists of bringing the bells up and then bringing them down one at a time at regular intervals, forming different musical scales concluded by the major bell, the bell that completes the diatonic scale. The five bells are in B major, one of the most solemn keys in which bells are cast.
The first mention of the existence of a place of worship dates back to the late 13th century, when the most important local historian lists the church along with a thousand other altars in Milan. The news is confirmed in a document from 1398, when the medieval church had recently been enlarged. The small church was also visited in 1578 by Saint Charles Borromeo, who noted the small size of the church, which was, however, in such good condition that he promoted it to a parish. A nobleman who died of the plague left a large inheritance, which was used to have the best baroque architect of 17th century Lombardy design a new church. The new church was built in the mid 17th century. This magnificent Baroque church contains many works of art in gold and wood, dating from the second half of the 17th century and throughout the 18th century. The church has an exceptional façade, leading into a small but very rich environment.
