I think Mojang thought that after so many times of deleting Herobrine they thought they didnt have to this time. But that was the moment Herobrine was waiting for. Mojang lowering their guard for Herobrine to make his move. And the deep dark could very well be the new biome of herobrine. And the warden is his servant. Mojang never intended for the warden to be so strong but Herobrine changed the wardens code to serve him as his defender of his biome. The candles are the new torches. Herobrine has made the anvient city his personal throne room and the wardens are his guardians. Thats why they are so strong. He is also more powerful because Mojang forgot to remove his powers. Thats right. Mojang removed only his powers but not the entity. Thats how he was so strong in this update because mojang didnt take away his powers. And the reason the fireflies didnt get added was because the fireflies would drop the spark to activate the portal. Herobrine was responsible for that as well.

Did you know there is some bugs in Minecraft. Some mind shops can also spawn inside of ancient cities, but it’s not really rare. I found it also and most people found it too.
The warden clearly has more theories of the past rather than just a blind, bogstandard mob in the deep dark. This is actually cool.

Not really he lied because there’s several things pointing to him lying one when he ventured into the deep dark the warden Spond uneventfully you’re supposed to activate a skulk shriekers three times to Summon the warden. And plus lately I haven’t seen any zero HEROBRINE “sightings”
And you were Brian is not real if you check the code to Herobrine is not in it And why would your O’Brien even be hacking you are a streams computer specifically him and it’s odd that he had a specific goal and it was to find HEROBRINE. The developers came out and said that you were Brian is not real and you did not spend 18 hours looking for the warden or you would have bags under his eyes.

I think I have a way to prevent this, try using the seed in a public survival server and invite as many people as possible, that might crack Herobrine's biggest myths. And by going back down there and following the same moves, go back up and see if the same thing happened.

Theory : Herobrine usually doesnt show himself to a player he usually hides himself. The fact that he showed up as the warden is rather wierd as herobrine doesnt posses mobs or have the ability to delete a large chunk of the world. Also the portal on the ancient city does seem to reasemble a portal because it is more of a landscape rectangle instead of a paper rectangle like the nether portal. I think herobrine is..

Me and my friends have that seed too. Not only you. We have deep dark city, lush cave and several mineshaft near each other, we just walk few blocks and found a cave and explore it and find these places.
Herobrine doses not kill you for no reason,actually,if he kill you and scares you,or even crash the game, it’s to protect you from an even dangerous entity

In minecraft lore, the ¨portal" is actually a tribute to the warden
its a lore theory, thats not confirmed, but i do think the frame itself is a portal, but built in the shape of the warden as a tribute to it.

They slumber beneath your feet, and only dig out when enough Sculk Shriekers have alerted them of your presence." its there, check for yourself. i still think the deepslate frame inside the warden statue is a portal, built in honor of the warden. what im saying is it is a portal, why would a portal-like frame thats made of reinforced deepslate, a block that is similar to all other portal frame blocks?

I can't lie, I've seen herobrine only once in the newest 1.19 update. I had a screenshot of him on my PC, but after 24 hours it got deleted. The warden also started attacking the air until I saw white glowing eyes in the dark. I'm glad I'm not going mad.
