Interesting video and subject. Glad i discovered your channel. Heading towards a more minimalist way of using technologies, aiming for a sweet spot between more "old school tech" items and current knowledge in the cs word. As a third year cs student, im more and more apealed by old school technologies . Good video
@Mindwear Thanks mate. Do you have any advice ? I'm not sure about what to do next year, i'll get my licence in CS this last semester (so i guess its the equivalent of a bachelor degree in your country) and I hesitate on what master degree i should chose next year. I thought about a master in Cybersecurity, i see everyone going into data and i feel it is starting to be full and less opportunities are available. I want something specific and rare, planning to leave Paris as soon as i get my degree. What filed would you recommand to get a master in ? I'm tempted by cybersecurity because I want to be close to the machine, use languages like C, assembly etc which I trully appreciate. I have this choice or to go through an engineering cycle for 3 years but i don't want to, here in France those school are way too generalist
@@okabejibril1236 It sounds like you're already thinking things through pretty well. Cybersecurity does sound like a great fit if you're passionate about being close to the machine and working with low-level languages like C and assembly. It’s also a field that will grow in demand. The more engaged in the subject you are, the further you'll go and have the edge on other candidates. It's such a personal decision to you, its hard for me to say more than that :)
