Will be on the search for an acquisitions analyst shortly, and proficiency in excel is probably the most important thing we are looking for. Second thing is definitely communication skills; whether that be with upper management principles, investors, brokers, etc.
@@brookslundgren8471 it’s Finance but with a real estate concentration! I highly recommend it, you should look into joint the Real Estate Organization (REO) at Rawls, it’s open to all majors and the real estate professors are the best! Let me know if you have any questions.
I’m already working with an MNC cushman & Wakefield - India, I’m a real estate professional working at an associate -valuations (your videos really helped me) I love my job -I had done my Real estate management from NMIMS and practice your excel that helped me to understand and demonstrate real life problem . Kindly help me with one question for exponential growth shall I do CFA or with an Indian degree and experience how can I get a job in Canada
I recently transitioned into single family acquisitions as an analyst but have worked in commercial real estate acquisitions as an analyst for 7 months prior. Do you think this will hinder my ability 2 years down the line to get a role back into a commercial real estate acquisitions role if I were to apply to an associate position? Thanks!
I’m a junior right now studying Architecture with a minor in real estate finance. I want to get an internship at a real estate firm next summer. I’m taking your course to get better at financial modeling but I do not any prior work experience in the field. What would you suggest is the best way to get an internship without prior experience?
If you're already in the industry, what does your company look for in potential analyst and associate hires?
