  • Thanks for watching! Watch this video in the highest quality possible for the best viewing experience! In this video we take a ride on Mississauga Miway’s route 1 Dundas, which runs east and west between Miway’s Kipling Station & Ridgeway. This video was taken on the C branch of route 1, which goes via University of Toronto Mississauga campus and ends at South common Bus terminal. Route 1 runs 7 days a week 24 hours a day, and is based out of Miway’s Central Parkway Garage. This route uses 40 foot, and 60 foot transit buses.
1359 is a 2013 New Flyer XD60 and is part of a 10 unit order (1351-1360). These buses were Miway’s first 60’ Articulated buses for local service. These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L Clean Diesel Turbocharged 330HP EPA-2013 Engine (ISL9) and an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission with Load based shift scheduling (B500R6 Gen IV LBSS). These units ride on MAN Drive Axles, and have driver controlled heating and cooling for both driver and passengers. These buses also feature 4ONE Aries seats for the passengers.

Filming people without their permission on public transportation is against the law and you could get sued for this kind of behavior.

Public transportation already has cameras on buses for peoples safety. Technically if you film on public transportation its just another camera just incase if something happeneds.

It’s funny how stupid this comment is, if that was the case me and many others would be sued 100 times maybe more by now. I’ve personally been doing this since 2015 and only had issues with people that aren’t up to date on their laws and rights. You mentioned the words “Public Transportation”, having Public in the name gives me all the permission needed. I have numerous friends in transit, various positions, and never once has anyone of them challenged me on this subject. The moment you make the choice to step outside in public, you basically have no say against who takes pictures or videos of you as you become a part of the public and as I said anything public can be photographed or videotaped. These videos are intended to document various transit bus models at various transit systems, what do transit buses do? Move people. As much as I would love to have every video with no one on the bus the reality is that I can’t. If you don’t like it too bad, get a car and complain about something else, I’m gonna keep documenting what makes me happy and if you have a problem shove it where the sun don’t shine.
