Multilingual hip-hop is rooted in Latino culture. I grew up on it especially as a young kid in Southern California listening to rap in Spanglish. I think that's why there's such a huge fanbase for Korean hiphop in Hispanic and Latinx communities.
Most of us are already used to fierce beats complimented by multiple languages. We embrace it because we feel it. It's familiar to us.
Which is why I would love to see AOMG work with rappers who are bilingual in Spanish as well. Imagine how the straight up fire that would produce!
