I know this video is crazy old, but Canas has an A support with Vaida here. That means she’s been bullying him for his reading and feeding his books to her wyvern in this timeline. And now she’s watched him solo saving the world and take down a goddamn DRAGON, something that hasn’t been done since before her country was founded, with an armful of BOOKS. What can she possibly be thinking during all of this? Not to mention Athos, who has studied Magic for a literal millennia, was one of the people who fought dragons back then, and now who bears witness to this nerd for Ilia utterly SURPASS not just him, but also Nergal and probably Brammimond. WITHOUT the super weapons that they were afraid of because they were too powerful, just a knockoff. AND without losing himself to the void like said Nergal and Brammimond. Athos probably died for sheer pants-soiling terror in this timeline.
I believe the unnamed Gespenst Druid in the final chapter is meant to represent Teodor from 19xx, but since getting to it is the most bullshit thing in all of Fire Emblem, they left him unnamed so that 95% of players wouldn't just get confused (even if Kenneth and Jerme are on the same map, I guess).
I like to think that Unnamed Warrior was Oleg (Boss in chapter 21), the Unnamed General was Lundgren (Boss in Chapter 10) and the Unnamed Sage was Aion (Boss in Chapter 19x)
We partially have that in the form of Dark Mage and Dark Bishop... of course, those classes are so watered down that they might not be worth the effort(also no Dark Tomefaire on D.Bishop is a complete dealbreaker).
@@ThisIsntARUclipsr life drainer is nice, but the Dark Mage gives a pretty useless ability. In my first playthrough (black eagles) I made Hubert a Mage, unlocked the skill, went back to Dark Mage just to get access to the Dark Bishop and to get the skill
There's actually a way to make Canas double the Fire Dragon with Gespenst. If you use the Double Dash! bonus disc, one of the items granted is a Body Ring. That additional Body Ring allows Canas to have 14 CON, rather than 12. This increases his AS to 20 from 18 while wielding the tome. Since 20 is exactly 4 more than 16, Canas doubles. I know this is highly situational and is extremely difficult to pull off legit, but it's possible and i wanted to share this.
I would rather just have him use Luna instead (if it wasn't a no Luna run) without spending a single body ring on him. Well, at least I get to learn something today. Thanks for the info.
@@thesiaoz You're welcome. I was rewatching the video, and since i had a Wind Sword randomized into the playthrough i'm currently doing, i thought about the bonus disc.
@Father That's right. He pulled out his wavy dagger, chanted some magick words to Belphegor, and killed that blizzard dead so hard that the sun came back and spontaneously made all the flowers bloom, especially the poppies and he made some dank opium out of them and got so wasted that day and then lived happily ever after for about twenty-one universal oscillations. The end.
Merlinus cannot wield a weapon, and he leaves the Dread Isle before the final fight. So there is no possible way to use Merlinus, sorry kiddo, he's just a shopkeeper at this point.
I was just telling him why he can't do it just before thesiaoz does it. Pretty sure he's tired of telling everyone why one character can't be in a journey. I mean I wouldn't guess whether or not one of you played Blazing Sword before, or know a lot about it, but I guess you all know a lot about the game.
Can you go wrong with Canas? No. You can’t. He will destroy all. I usually just had Canas wander off on his own around the map, with nothing but a Flux and a Nosferatu, and he was all good! Vulneraries? Elixirs? Unnecessary. Nothing can stop him. Nothing. Critical Nosferatu is scary. I have already said this. It’s weird to think he’s on this adventure, seeking knowledge, becoming extremely powerful whilst probably not knowing it, reading books in his downtime, and knowing that using dark magic will be his undoing. What a true madlad. The most wholesome character in FE7 destroying an army worth of super-powered magical constructs. Is his arm getting tired yet? Taking a closer look at the Druid sprite, it looks so cool. Freakin’ Eliwood. Kenneth survives a Nosferatu critical. GESPENST HIT! IT ACTUALLY HIT! OH MY GOD! TRULY WORTH NOTING! Oh wait, the Druid’s dead. I can just imagine Canas all like “My apologies, but you must die now.” I suddenly question... how do the others stay entertained while their friends kill everything? Do they make bets, wrestle, just have friendly conversations, listen to Nils play music as he dodges incoming spears? Who knows? Fenrir has a cool animation. Sounds pretty lit, too. The one time where Gespenst does anything. Kinda. And he still gets defeated by a snowstorm.
