SiM "Baseball bat" song has the most, biggest collabs of famous Japanese bands I've ever seen. They also had collaborated with Crossfaith, which I recommend you to stay tuned on Feb 11, they'll premier a new MV; Crossfaith - Gimme Danger.
They got some ska reggae element into their songs too and it's unique. Now they're started to get more popular because of their newest song called "The Rumbling". It's the opening song for the anime Attack on Titan. I recommend to check their latest song, it got more heavier compared to their other songs
SiM (in japamese pronounced "sheem") is arguably my favorite band ever. They call themselves punk teggae, but they're really a fusion of pumk, metal, and ska. Some of their songs are heavier on the punk, some heavier on the ska. Check out Who's Next, or Pandora.
Little background of me, when I was very young I got a hold of a Bad Religion cassette (yup, I'm old). While I never adopted the punk aesthetic, it was nearly all I listened for a very long time (some rock)...then Nu metal happened. I dove right in, and then proceeded to explore metal all the way back to it's beginning right through to current day where metal core and death core are my staples. SiM is able to hit all those points. They are able to summon every ounce of musical nostalgia in me without having been part of anything I came up listening to. They are not my favorite band, but they really do a good job of making me smile.
Wow!!! A Japanese "420" stoner song? I didn't know that was a "thing". Cool. Here's the "best?" cover version of this song, featuring Tamu Murata of NEMOPHILA: "Tamu Murata & Shiena Nishizawa" 【KiLLiNG ME】ruclips.net/video/vuPc0EvbIns/видео.html
late comment on this video but SiM is really great, they have alot more music with alot of experimental sounds, I found them because they made two songs for Yakuza Kiwami 2 which is my favorite game, but they became really popular with the Attack on Titan opening they made
