      I always thought beforw he shoyld have rested way longer than he did like 2yrs maybe so that a comeback is possible like how Thompson and Ducant did but he only rested for months, played hard then injured again and the time he rested for I think a year then played so hard again, then I knew he is done. His prime is done and it proved right. good for him even if it will never be like his mvp level, he still can play.

      When a player is more physically gifted than anyone else in the sport they become a star, then as soon as they start slowing down to the the other players' ability level they have nothing else and lose.

      Except Rudy isn't really a great defensive player. He's just big so he stands at the rim and racks up blocks. When it comes to moving his feet and having to actually guard someone Rudy is trash. I love the dunk by Russ though. It's incredible.

    Ja's dunk was in a really, really important playoff game against a stacked twolves team. Down in the 3rd, the grizz had the last posession and BOOM! Dunk of the year! 4th quarter for the history and the whole series changed.
    So yeah...Ja's dunk is not only one of the most incredible dunks ever, but it was one of the most significant dunks ever, cause it changed the whole momentum.

    those are always my favorite dunks.. the guys that look like they cant even dunk but end up getting higher and dunking harder than guys who are like 6'6, 6'7 etc.. that behind the back wall dunk was the most impressive to me with how fuckin fast he was going and to stay in control

    This compilation shows a pretty decent Ja and D-Rose comparison. I think Rose was more explosive but Ja isn’t far behind. Would’ve been interesting to see them both play in the same era (preferably this one with the more highlight-friendly rules and officiating)

      Ironically, it makes me think that he may have had a sturdy body because, with landings like those, any other athletes would've had a season or career-altering injury in their earliest seasons, but ultimately having good health is offset by bad athletic practices. It's as if it was set for him to be injured sooner or later, and it just so happened to be later. To think he'd last for five years before getting the career-altering injury landing like that is quite intriguing.

      @@royalprocess Westbrook has more dunks, and some very vicious ones, but every time Rose jumped, everybody watching held their breath because they knew he was about to do something crazy. If Rose had as many seasons with good knees as Westbrook, it wouldn't be close at all. I take Rose, but only because his make me say "holy shit" while Westbrooks give me stank face and no more. Still a fantastic dunker, but his are more forceful, Rose's were finesse and force. The tomahawk over Dragic still gives me goosebumps. I think it's hilarious Chi has Dragic now too XD
