Nah they are def one of the best but the best devs are easily solo leveling arise devs . I would also want the timer to pause while transferring to different zones. It can get annoying that the clock still keeps running while I try to activate the fight in each new area.
Real, i ran out of time on the last stage because the bosses like to move around the huge area, then you had to travel between stages and activating the stage while the timer is still ticking and repeat that and its just annoyingly difficult.
All the yes to this! The timer not stopping in between sections really eats away at your overall score too. I can't even get to the featured bosses of phases 5, and 6 because the timer runs out at the bosses right before them. I was going in to each one with level 90 Baizhi, Yinlin, and Xiangli, and they're all really close to having maxed forte circuits, and I can't get the last two rewards of those phases. Some is a guaranteed skill issue on my part, but the other stuff isn't. At least the Simulacra isn't as bad as the Pincer event. I borderline hate that one, and can't wait to see it gone, lol.
I realized i have reading issue after watching a JP guy full scored this event, it's not about beating bosses as fast as possible but to get SS rank early, maintain it, get extra scores from parry/dodge/counter then finish off the bosses, that guy full score with less time left than mine which is less scores but finish very early
Even if you cant get max score, its 30k credits and some farmable mats. People literally could have just farmed those mats in 3 minutes instead of torturing themselves for 30 minutes. This is why we cant have hard content. Even if you put 1 credit as the reward for the highest difficulty, someone will whine. People say Genshin devs dont listen (about endgame or challenging content), but I bet my ass their surveys show the vast vast vast majority of players just want to be handed primos and log off.

You literally just have to farm dodges on Monke, Mecha, and ice guy (no skill involved), farm parries on Mephis if you want (moderate skill), and nuke the slow or annoying bosses. Anyone who couldnt do this is not skilled by definition. But again the point is YOU DONT NEED MAX REWARDS, only the self control to realize it.
Totally agree, WuWa and ZZZ have easily become the best gacha games and dev teams on the market! It’s such a different feeling playing these games and feeling respected as a player than the feeling I had playing Genshin or honestly even HSR ^^

The good thing about Kuro showing how devs should react and how fast they do it is that new gacha games coming in 2025 like Ananta,NTE,Endfield, Azur Promilia, Duet Night Abyss etc. will be held to the same standards, if they do anything less they'd be roasted. ZZZ? I dunno why I just can't fully appreciate what they are doing, I mean sure they're literally pound for pound doing the same thing as Kuro when it comes to listening,fixing,updating and maintaining the game. But for me it feels like Hoyo is just using ZZZ to show everyone that "hey, we listen too you know" while just maintaining the status quo on their other two main games

I love how sweaty it is but I'm glad they did this. I always lack around 100 points on the last two stages. Lol. They should just do what PGR does which basically just keep it sweaty but keep all relevant resources obtainable without malding too much. Then add trophy collectibles for the diehards. Bragging writes for the die hards and keep everyone happy by making premium currency accessible to everyone.
You have 2 options in this event actually. Either speedrun under 2 mins for stage 6 and 3 mins for last stage, or you “dance” with the boss by dodging or parry to build technical points.

Totally agree, ZZZ and Kuro devs are cooking hard. I was discussing this just now in a Genshin video about Wriothesley's rerun. Poor Genshin players don't even know why things happen (or don't happen), the developers just leave them in the dark for months. They don't know why they didn't receive the 800 gems for the Game Awards's nomination this year, so they think the "consolation" is this supposed rerun of a character that should've already happened almost a year ago. And they say this is an "effort" by the devs to not let players feel abandoned 🤦♂
I am an union lvl56 player, it was so difficult to clear for me but I used some trial characters and some of mine and after a hardcore session was barely able to get those asterides. Happy for other players as they will get the rewards too.
I was trying for that final reward in stages 3 & 4 when my phone died. I logged in later & it was clear, So, I knew they reduced the limit - checked the notice & indeed it was the case. Also, I believe they want the game to work on gacha element method, So, they shud keep these events be completely cleared with moderate skills. I think the mode u're referring to wud be DMC's Bloody Palace which goes from Human all the way upto Dante Must Die difficulty with Bosses every 20 floors. They can introduce such a weekly endgame that provides higher Credits for higher levels/floors & small amount of astrites for lower ones. That for sure be a grt way for streaming also given the roster of chars that's expanding.
Im not sure about the pointing system but the thing that I noticed is that you need to be on the SS rank as fast as you can then maintain it till the end (if possible) I manage to get the last reward with a few seconds remaining. There are times that the scoring system is weird tbh but I still enjoy this kind of events…
Tactical Simulacra has simple mechanics [that is] to get dodges, parry to get ss rating. Then while at SS rating throw everything (nuke). You don't need to dodge or parry eveything to save time, use s instead. But still kudos, to the devs for lowering the HPs and the points required to get rewards. I think, this is a good formula. Make th e events easier at the near end so hardcores and casual would enjoy both.
Tactical Simulacra is not that difficult, though. Pincher Maneuver is harder because it has team comp bonus requirements, yet it doesn't lend you units like other events. I'm ducked since stage 1 because I don't build electro or glacio units.
Nah thats actual skill issue, this event literally was not meant for casuals one bit. Thats why this had way more uproar than the people complaining about pincer. Edit: just a disclaimer I'm also always on the side of improvement, pincer definitely should be polished more and given more depth in the future iterations of it.
I definitely agree that Pincer is worse, but that doesn't mean they listened to this one isn't listening. Obviously, it would be great if they changed that too.

Fucking event was killing my insides, I knew something was wrong about it, and I’m be honest the last event card needs changing to I feel like it damn near impossible to clear all those bosses in the time they give you

You should try nikke when rapi: red hood comes up, if you play it casually there really is no downside of playing it. Both hugh amount of free pulls from Dev's with 4% gach a rates, banger musics and story are top notch. Its easy content reacting to the story too, there is skip button, and you can see the whole cutscenes without time gated limits as long as you clear them or see the past event story when you gen enough resources. You'd love event stories like overzone, red ash, miracle snow and side stories.
The only reward I couldn't claim as f2p is the last one of stage 6 yeah I think I was like 50 points away but it was defintiely too sweaty that I gave up on that last reward, glad they changed it I also agree the event felt weird with the fact that you want to be fast for time left points, but if you're too fast then you don't really generate technique point , and then you end up being too low on score
I was fine with not getting all the rewards as long as I get the asterite, except that stage 6 which had me trying so hard but still missed some asterite in it, it was mainly due to the fact that the required elements were fire and havoc and I don't have any character built of that element and i didn't know how to play Camellya and Changli 😅 I'm so grateful they are very attentive to all kinds of players which makes me love them even more, truly the goats ❤
event itself didn't have much of a problem but the points you get are really too much on edge. Its absurd that fully built character with decent/good stats clear a stage with like 2732 point over a needed 2700. Good thing the lowered the "points needed" because the mechanic and the monsters chosen are just not good. You cannot give me a timed event, AND add 26 bosses that fly and move around so much , that most of the time i just chase them so i can hit them :O
If they make everything so easy then we will get bored very soon. I mean yeah it shouldn't be way too hard either. decently built characters should be able to clear them. I would love if they come up with unique events where it's not just fighting but something else, like something we did in lingyang's story. that 2-d kinda thing. I hope they bring more uniqueness to different events.
me personally, i occasionally missed the last reward because i was off by like 70 points of smth, but the last rewards dont even include asterite so it wasnt a big deal imo. but this was all on my first attempt so i think the event is slightly too easy, and should include slightly higher HP bosses that dont drop like flies. everyone calls calcharo bad/mid but if my death messengers can 1 shot these bosses then its kinda hard to say theyre even bosses. tldr give bosses 20% more HP and slightly lower the reward thresholds
Well... i got max points on all until today. I didn't even know this happens now. Currently try-harding getting 4k points for last one and i don't intend to get any of the rewards from it until i get 4k! Max is 3967 so far with Camellya/Rover/SK team... but i'm satisfied with it and sure i'll get it eventually, so i'm experimenting with other teams too. xD This event is very fun for me.
when you use only the trial characters given to you and nothing else, even clearing within the given time frame becomes impossible. then try consider how casuals, people with bad mechanics or people just beginning the game feels about the event.
Yes, they often forget that the game mechanics of the individual characters have to be learned first. Not to mention the team complexity Using test characters when I don't know how to use them is nonsense. I tried to go through the illusive realm with Lumi today because I still don't have that. Unfortunately, I didn't pull her. But going through level 80 with the test Lumi? Has anyone managed that?
i mean even when i trryharded, farmed SS or tech i still couldn't get the 2800 score on the 4th level..my best score is when i cleared it faster but it was still not enough..aside for that the event is cool. the only thing they need to is remove the time so we can farm score with tech points

Nerf was too much imo. Shouldve buffed the trial resonators, increase time given after killing bosses to 30-40 seconds for stage 7, increase dodge to 15 points and/or increase time multiplier from x3 to x6 or x7

The timer running is also really annoying. With the grapple you obviously jump past it and before you get to the next fight you've lost another 30 seconds. I hate timers anyway. It always feels so unimaginative and anything with a timer is almost always a bad event for me if it comes down to massive time pressure. (Like genshin spiral abyss, for example, or the pincer event in WuWa or now the new event. And I don't understand at all what triggers the scoring. It's definitely not a good team rotation. It doesn't matter at all which buff you choose.

I dont realy have that much of a problem with this event, but i have a problem with "pincer maneuver warriors 2" becouse i dont have anye good electro character build. Calcharo is the only one and i only leveld him til 80. So yeah cant even beat it close. But still it is again a W for Kuro Games.
I hate the solution they implemented to this event. Now all the noobs can receive the full rewards. Before this nerf, the requirement to get all the astrite reward wasn't very hard, it WAS hard to get the very last reward but it's not necessary to obtain. It's only if you want to go above and beyond which what events should be all about. Instead of outright nerfing the points requirement, they should have improved on how the points are calculated. As for how rewards are distributed, Coop hologram 1.3 did this very well. The casual mode had the astrites reward, which is realistically the only part people care about. The harder mode had materials onlly, the only thing they should improve on that is it add a trophy incentive to prove that you completed this harder difficulty portion.
Well i agree rewards in event should be obtained by all players. Its good to have events that are fun and challenging sometimes for players that love the combat. The rewards for those always been some shell credits the astrite always was and is easy to obtain. So i disagree with the need to nerf it so casuals and hard core players can clear it first try cus then its not a boss challenge anymore now is it. its just an event for rewards whats the point? Events should be fun with rewards not just an extra way to get rewards so sometimes having a good challenge that requires use of game mechanics should stay challenging losing some shell credits won't brick the casual players account. If you want those small rewards just get better and get it or skip it shell credits are easy to get. And the reason i say that is wuwa selling point is the combat so lets not nerf the combat for people that enjoy the combat over some shell credits. so basically people that dont like or not good enough yet at the combat could get some shell credits thats why we nerf it like come on people. If its astrite i would agree but its not so i highly disagree with this nerf. They didn't need to nerf it sure they need to fix it or add stuff to it and be more clear in the rules but not nerf it. So i hope for future ones it won't happen again and it will be good from the start.
I don't know what homies are doing to say "don't kill to fast"?? (Genuine question) I got 3K points, nuking everything with a solo whale'd cammy. My highest score was w Verina and cammy, and i built their concerto up before starting, got 3,125. (and had 151seconds left) total Points calculated by first 3 points totals added (300points per kill for monster), + However time points are calculated + 10points for every dodge or parry.

I think you have answered your own question (whale'd cammy). For people who can't nuke that fast it is better to balance out the dodge points and the time to kill. Every 3 secs is 9 points lost while every dodge is 10 points. So it is better to dodge some very fast consecutive attacks like the monkey.

I eventually went online to see how other people are clearing it. After seeing someone else being able to it gives me motivation to actually do it myself. Kuro already had the asterite rewards locked behind a way easier to reach score but gave those who actually took the time to learn how to play the event a small reward and these participation trophies generation couldn’t handle it.

"Rushing all the plotlines" is literally an empty argument (especially compared to WuWa which has its narrative as its weakest point), but even without any comparison, they didn't rush anything, and yes, it was a "Miyabi-centric" story, which is nothing new in any game. WuWa also had a Jinhsi-centric story btw. It was actually really well done the way they tied up together all the different circles of characters and assembled them, keeping the stakes for the continuation of the main plot going into the future. It wasn't the deepest story ever told, but it's just an action video game with colorful characters like any other, taking it too seriously isn't the point. So this isn't a criticism of yours, it's just you hating. And to say that ZZZ is only listening NOW is a straight up lie. They are listening from the beginning, not just listening but also speaking, making it clear what their philosophy is for the game and their goals. Since the start this was their trump card actually

You have 2 options in this event actually. Either speedrun under 2 mins for stage 6 and 3 mins for last stage, or you “dance” with the boss by dodging or parry to build technical points.

Totally agree, ZZZ and Kuro devs are cooking hard. I was discussing this just now in a Genshin video about Wriothesley's rerun. Poor Genshin players don't even know why things happen (or don't happen), the developers just leave them in the dark for months. They don't know why they didn't receive the 800 gems for the Game Awards's nomination this year, so they think the "consolation" is this supposed rerun of a character that should've already happened almost a year ago. And they say this is an "effort" by the devs to not let players feel abandoned 🤦♂

I am an union lvl56 player, it was so difficult to clear for me but I used some trial characters and some of mine and after a hardcore session was barely able to get those asterides. Happy for other players as they will get the rewards too.
I was trying for that final reward in stages 3 & 4 when my phone died. I logged in later & it was clear, So, I knew they reduced the limit - checked the notice & indeed it was the case. Also, I believe they want the game to work on gacha element method, So, they shud keep these events be completely cleared with moderate skills.
I think the mode u're referring to wud be DMC's Bloody Palace which goes from Human all the way upto Dante Must Die difficulty with Bosses every 20 floors. They can introduce such a weekly endgame that provides higher Credits for higher levels/floors & small amount of astrites for lower ones. That for sure be a grt way for streaming also given the roster of chars that's expanding.
Im not sure about the pointing system but the thing that I noticed is that you need to be on the SS rank as fast as you can then maintain it till the end (if possible) I manage to get the last reward with a few seconds remaining. There are times that the scoring system is weird tbh but I still enjoy this kind of events…
Tactical Simulacra has simple mechanics [that is] to get dodges, parry to get ss rating. Then while at SS rating throw everything (nuke). You don't need to dodge or parry eveything to save time, use s instead. But still kudos, to the devs for lowering the HPs and the points required to get rewards. I think, this is a good formula. Make th e events easier at the near end so hardcores and casual would enjoy both.
Tactical Simulacra is not that difficult, though. Pincher Maneuver is harder because it has team comp bonus requirements, yet it doesn't lend you units like other events. I'm ducked since stage 1 because I don't build electro or glacio units.
On that 4th difficulty I destroyed the bosses. I one hit kill like half of them with my jinshi but I still couldn't get 2.3k.
If the devs listened so much then why does this get changed but not Pincer Maneuver? Pincer Maneuver is the real issue.
Nah thats actual skill issue, this event literally was not meant for casuals one bit. Thats why this had way more uproar than the people complaining about pincer.
Edit: just a disclaimer I'm also always on the side of improvement, pincer definitely should be polished more and given more depth in the future iterations of it.

Fucking event was killing my insides, I knew something was wrong about it, and I’m be honest the last event card needs changing to I feel like it damn near impossible to clear all those bosses in the time they give you
I am union level 67, and I did the "try hard" session with I was only able to get the asterides from the event.
I thought when I couldn't get all the rewards am I missing something and it basically asks you to not get hit and dodge everything because they deduct points and give points.
You should try nikke when rapi: red hood comes up, if you play it casually there really is no downside of playing it.
Both hugh amount of free pulls from Dev's with 4% gach a rates, banger musics and story are top notch. Its easy content reacting to the story too, there is skip button, and you can see the whole cutscenes without time gated limits as long as you clear them or see the past event story when you gen enough resources. You'd love event stories like overzone, red ash, miracle snow and side stories.
My record was 2954 I believe. I might have done it if I built my stuff better, but I want to save for Rinascita.
I legit thought I couldn't get full rewards because I was killing the enemies too fast so I just gave up...
The only reward I couldn't claim as f2p is the last one of stage 6 yeah I think I was like 50 points away but it was defintiely too sweaty that I gave up on that last reward, glad they changed it
I also agree the event felt weird with the fact that you want to be fast for time left points, but if you're too fast then you don't really generate technique point , and then you end up being too low on score

I was fine with not getting all the rewards as long as I get the asterite, except that stage 6 which had me trying so hard but still missed some asterite in it, it was mainly due to the fact that the required elements were fire and havoc and I don't have any character built of that element and i didn't know how to play Camellya and Changli 😅
I'm so grateful they are very attentive to all kinds of players which makes me love them even more, truly the goats ❤
event itself didn't have much of a problem but the points you get are really too much on edge. Its absurd that fully built character with decent/good stats clear a stage with like 2732 point over a needed 2700. Good thing the lowered the "points needed" because the mechanic and the monsters chosen are just not good.
You cannot give me a timed event, AND add 26 bosses that fly and move around so much , that most of the time i just chase them so i can hit them :O

If they make everything so easy then we will get bored very soon. I mean yeah it shouldn't be way too hard either. decently built characters should be able to clear them. I would love if they come up with unique events where it's not just fighting but something else, like something we did in lingyang's story. that 2-d kinda thing. I hope they bring more uniqueness to different events.
You actually have to Dodge/Parry to get good scores (labeled as Technical Score i believe)
me personally, i occasionally missed the last reward because i was off by like 70 points of smth, but the last rewards dont even include asterite so it wasnt a big deal imo. but this was all on my first attempt so i think the event is slightly too easy, and should include slightly higher HP bosses that dont drop like flies. everyone calls calcharo bad/mid but if my death messengers can 1 shot these bosses then its kinda hard to say theyre even bosses.
tldr give bosses 20% more HP and slightly lower the reward thresholds

when you use only the trial characters given to you and nothing else, even clearing within the given time frame becomes impossible. then try consider how casuals, people with bad mechanics or people just beginning the game feels about the event.
Yes, they often forget that the game mechanics of the individual characters have to be learned first.

i mean even when i trryharded, farmed SS or tech i still couldn't get the 2800 score on the 4th level..my best score is when i cleared it faster but it was still not enough..aside for that the event is cool. the only thing they need to is remove the time so we can farm score with tech points

Nerf was too much imo. Shouldve buffed the trial resonators, increase time given after killing bosses to 30-40 seconds for stage 7, increase dodge to 15 points and/or increase time multiplier from x3 to x6 or x7

The timer running is also really annoying. With the grapple you obviously jump past it and before you get to the next fight you've lost another 30 seconds.

It always feels so unimaginative and anything with a timer is almost always a bad event for me if it comes down to massive time pressure. (Like genshin spiral abyss, for example, or the pincer event in WuWa or now the new event.

I dont realy have that much of a problem with this event, but i have a problem with "pincer maneuver warriors 2" becouse i dont have anye good electro character build. Calcharo is the only one and i only leveld him til 80. So yeah cant even beat it close. But still it is again a W for Kuro Games.

I hate the solution they implemented to this event. Now all the noobs can receive the full rewards. Before this nerf, the requirement to get all the astrite reward wasn't very hard, it WAS hard to get the very last reward but it's not necessary to obtain. It's only if you want to go above and beyond which what events should be all about. Instead of outright nerfing the points requirement, they should have improved on how the points are calculated. As for how rewards are distributed, Coop hologram 1.3 did this very well. The casual mode had the astrites reward, which is realistically the only part people care about. The harder mode had materials onlly, the only thing they should improve on that is it add a trophy incentive to prove that you completed this harder difficulty portion.
Hoyoshill and a kuroshill does that make you 😮. A Normal human being?

Well i agree rewards in event should be obtained by all players.
Its good to have events that are fun and challenging sometimes for players that love the combat.
The rewards for those always been some shell credits the astrite always was and is easy to obtain.
So i disagree with the need to nerf it so casuals and hard core players can clear it first try cus then its not a boss challenge anymore now is it.

Events should be fun with rewards not just an extra way to get rewards so sometimes having a good challenge that requires use of game mechanics should stay challenging losing some shell credits won't brick the casual players account.
If you want those small rewards just get better and get it or skip it shell credits are easy to get.
And the reason i say that is wuwa selling point is the combat so lets not nerf the combat for people that enjoy the combat over some shell credits.
so basically people that dont like or not good enough yet at the combat could get some shell credits thats why we nerf it like come on people.
If its astrite i would agree but its not so i highly disagree with this nerf.
They didn't need to nerf it sure they need to fix it or add stuff to it and be more clear in the rules but not nerf it.

I got 3K points, nuking everything with a solo whale'd cammy. My highest score was w Verina and cammy, and i built their concerto up before starting, got 3,125. (and had 151seconds left)
total Points calculated by first 3 points totals added (300points per kill for monster), + However time points are calculated + 10points for every dodge or parry.

For people who can't nuke that fast it is better to balance out the dodge points and the time to kill. Every 3 secs is 9 points lost while every dodge is 10 points. So it is better to dodge some very fast consecutive attacks like the monkey.

So much whining. I seen people clear all this stuff with the trial characters. Not saying I can personally but with 1 attempt the last 3 stages I got all but last rewards. This generation is so fked with entitlements. I put a lot of time and investments into leveling my characters and I’m decent at the game. I had no complaints about not being able to get all the rewards first time around. You know what I did after a few attempts of not getting it? I eventually went online to see how other people are clearing it. After seeing someone else being able to it gives me motivation to actually do it myself. Kuro already had the asterite rewards locked behind a way easier to reach score but gave those who actually took the time to learn how to play the event a small reward and these participation trophies generation couldn’t handle it.

"Rushing all the plotlines" is literally an empty argument (especially compared to WuWa which has its narrative as its weakest point), but even without any comparison, they didn't rush anything, and yes, it was a "Miyabi-centric" story, which is nothing new in any game. WuWa also had a Jinhsi-centric story btw. It was actually really well done the way they tied up together all the different circles of characters and assembled them, keeping the stakes for the continuation of the main plot going into the future. It wasn't the deepest story ever told, but it's just an action video game with colorful characters like any other, taking it too seriously isn't the point. So this isn't a criticism of yours, it's just you hating. And to say that ZZZ is only listening NOW is a straight up lie. They are listening from the beginning, not just listening but also speaking, making it clear what their philosophy is for the game and their goals. Since the start this was their trump card actually
