    Great!!! You really emphasize the importance of ‘building’ ideas as opposed to adding more, more, more, MORE INFORMATION! Well done! Now. About that snare drum, shall I send my address for the drum give away? Hmmmm’? 😂 G’day!

      The music is where it's at! You gotta be able to apply it somehow. Sometimes we get caught up with practicing the exercises and forget to put some music on and try to apply them immediately.

    Really adds dynamics to your playing. I need to practice this more. My kit is electric. It’s hard to get those accents to come through. Definitely a benefit to a acoustic kit

    • @JuanCarlitoMendoza
      @JuanCarlitoMendoza  3 месяца назад +2

      You can do it! I had an electronic kit for a few years and while it's not the most "ideal" situation, you can make it work. It's all about learning the mechanics at first, but having a drum set definitely helps with the touch aspect. As long as you can switch the touch aspect on and off you should be ok!

    Why aren’t you counting out the bass drum part, which seems to be the most complicated.?

    • @JuanCarlitoMendoza
      @JuanCarlitoMendoza  3 месяца назад +1

      I did in the beginning of the video. The bass drum part is the same throughout the whole video. Not sure what you mean? The whole video is based off of the main rhythm that I counted in the beginning.
