This is fine if you've already set up your sending email information, but it doesn't help at all if that is what you are trying to do. It's very hard to find anything that tells you how to configure your send email protocol.
I am desperately trying to figure out how to scan to email and even though it is connected to my wifi and has an excellent connection status I keep getting the "Cannot connect to email server" error. Any ideas any one?
Its almost like Epson as a company only employs people aged 60s and above. Something so simple as a scanner to email, and they can't even get this streamlined for easy use.
As an afterthought, I saw that the instructions from the Apple link I was given from Telstra Platinum Support includes the App Specific Password retrieval in the email RECEIVE instructions so if you don't receive (as in a printer setup) then you have skipped that part and the SMTP send is not set up! At least that is my excuse.
I found the Epson information also quite useless. I have iCloud mail and also gmail and outlook - could not make the printer send mail with any of these. Not everyone has a degree in basic IT mate. So show me EXACT working settings in your printer for one of these services please. iCloud prefered.
This boring and I don't want to have to do this with each scan. I have tons of paperwork medical college and pictures.. I have an old fashion one I'm looking for multi scanner both sides in one pass and also very old treasured photos.
Hi, Elizabeth! Hopefully, we didn't put you to sleep 😄If you're looking for a scanner to get both sides of documents, photos, etc give a look at our FastFoto epson.com/For-Home/Scanners/Photo-Scanners/FastFoto-FF-680W-Wireless-High-speed-Photo-Scanning-System/p/B11B237201 For especially delicate photos - you may want to consider a flatbed scanner.

Totally agree Kim. A tutorial about how to configure the email setup would be very helpful. Anybody who knows where to find this?
Has anyone figured out how to scan to email?
