Rhythm shooting is a must learn for everyone imo. The number of times a shot has gone in because I’ve rhythm shooting is ridiculous. The control you get over your shot this year is GOATed.
Game finally requires a modicum of skill to consistently make the highest efficiency shot in basketball and people complain. If you can do any amount of dribbling this should be extremely simple it’s just two basic motions

He also only had like 5 points in the 3rd quarter in a lot of those clips Olajuwon is a great player but this is a good lesson on why people gotta stop believing what they see in clips lol.
@@samuele1177 you have to push down on the right stick to begin the shot then push it up when you get to the release point you set your shot at. You can also learn in Learn 2K
Man for some reasons this year iam having the worst time trying to find my shot. The best success I had is with that build you made 2 years ago the "rim protector" who was a nice strech. Had like the ose brisett base. I miss it lol.. every year this game changes so much...
I’ve been snagging 17-21 boards a game in the Rec as a 7’0 stretch PF with only 7’2 wing span. I can only imagine if I make a big with max wingspan and a higher vertical.

i was using square to start the year and i was shooting like 6-9 3-6 4/7 ect in the rec , i switched to the stick shooting and i was making everything from 3 , first game i used it i went 7/7 it was pretty obv to me that the green window is alot bigger with the stick . i played 2k24 all year and shot 82% from 3 24 ppg only shooting 3s , so i do kinda know what im talking bout when it comes to shooting
@@dakotageorge8358every top RUclipsr who is probably better than you and me are saying the steals are too strong, we got Tyceno who couldn’t get passing lane steals on 2k24 but now on 2k25 he getting a lot of steals with a 53 steal ratings, I got a lot of clips saved where a defender will be at the freethrow line and will instantly get dragged to the 3pt lane to steal. I promise you everyone steals averages went up from 2k24 to 2k25 and that should tell you something.
I didn't get it. Why bigmen should learn the rythm shooting? If you have Great Tempo but Slightly late timing, you are going to miss the shot. So besides shooting with one button, you have to control the tempo now. Shooting bigmen are usually spot up shooters and shoot wide open shots. So, what's the point of rythm shooting when you alone in the corner? Just relese Square/X at the right time
you can shoot a way higher % with rhythm shooting , and its best for people who spot up corner lol, its actually a lot tougher to use rhythm shooting when your dribbling around
Because every single player who plays rec like to abuse the terrible paint defense and doesn’t like to shoot. Now if the center don’t shoot but instead camp around the paint how would the trash players who can’t shoot force shots inside if the center got his men in the paint with him ? Centers are only adding 3pt to their build because this community can’t live without running 5 out or slash all game. The most obvious answer is for court spacing, once you play with a team with 0 shooters you will realize how easy it is to be guarded .

Right stick shooting just isnt ergonomic. I wish they didnt nerf button shooting to buff stick shooting
blame everyone who uses zens. this is their way to combat that

Sorry that I'm slow brain but rhythm shooting means (release) not jump, set, push love to see what your movements your using animation
Stop worrying about the release points, you need to just lab it out yourself for every single shot you use. Practice it. Take the time to learn it

It was a game changer till Mike Wang went and messed with sliders. Square shooting is back to being easy sadly.

You don’t switch , you just hold down and flick up base on the rhythm of your jumpshot
