Absolutely not. The most influential Indian names come mostly from Bengali cinema followed by Malayalam. Satyajit Ray, Rithwik Ghatak, Mrinal Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan are the topmost filmmakers whose works are studied in film curriculums across the globe.
Hindi cinema has the benefit of bigger budgets and wider audiences due to the bigger Hindi speaking demographic, is all. The greatest of Bengali and Malayalam cinema outweigh the Hindi lot, and this is strictly in terms of worldwide influence. Not to dismiss any Hindi filmmaking greats, but that is just what I have observed.

Btw, there's lots of songs are absolutely awesome which included in a cinema _ which is unnecessary, included because of backward spectators of Bharat.

No doubt- of course, no offense to musical film_ A film character can sing and even can play music instruments but a character's voice gets changed while a song is unreal and even music without any musician is unrealistic; that's why Indian cinema will always for those backwards.
Very rarely India saw good movies, some filmmakers made good Cinemas like: Ritwik Ghatak, Mrinal Sen, Satajit Ray, Anjan Dutta, Koushik Ganga, Buddhadev Dasgupta, Chuni Ganguly, Aparna Sen.
