that hardware setup is so sexy I cant describe how beautiful it is to see something like this running. thanks for making this it really made my enriching night all that more awesome.
Oh man im gonna comment on all your videos, you got all the gear i. am. lusting for 😂 Those Roland racks, S760 and JD 990...how does the S760 compare to the Akais you got? I see you have experience with all of the model numbers/series...I really want the s760 because my fav producer used it back then. But don't know what would be better out of the bunch. There is also the Roland S750 which seems. more rare. Personally i am a Roland. fan boy but never. owned anything from Akai, so couldn't tell.
@@Arc.hitectureMusic So you can send multiple midi tracks to separate synths/samplers? Sorry about the dumb questions, I've never used an old school setup and I'm trying to accurately replicate it with software. Thanks for replying.
@@Arc.hitectureMusic ive just got a ste mate with cubase 3 I was wondering how everything is set up I want to use my s950 and s990 with fxs on my Mackie vlz mixer then mix live into my daw or how ever is best to record the final track and/or however you record you stems/mix from the st? can you save directly on cubase if so then how do you get your final track out of cubase? thanks man
@@amerism4530 If I’m using an ST and 950 to produce I put individual outs from S950 across my mixer, assign fxs as needed via aux sends. Using a midi expander (Unitor N) on the ST, I send midi sync to the daw computer that will be recording audio from the mixer. You can also just record the stereo out from your mixer if you don’t want to fuss with tracking individual elements
@@Arc.hitectureMusic how do you create aux sends mate the chain confuses me where do the monitors come into it.. and I think id prefer tracking individually how do I do that thanks for your help once again though mate
Pitch wheel automation. Requires bare elements to work because it globally applies to all sounds on the S950 since you can only have 1 program loaded at a time. Also certain kicks and snares I spread across key groups for pitch effects
