Beautiful family! The daughter's comment touched my heart when she stated that being under one roof with family is perfect!. awesome thought she shared...lovely interview Jasmine
The Dad hit the nail right on the head with the statement "When they see you building this house, they think you are loaded and want to make money off you but they don't know or believe that you are working your ass off and saving off your paycheck to build" .... People need to do better and stop looking at folks struggling to build as a way to make money. A lot are just trying to have something for themselves from all their hard work.
Great job done Ama, can't stop smiling. Lovely fam👍. We're in the same boat. Building in Ghana while staying abroad is wahala, but with God, all things are possible 🙏 😊
Beautiful family with a great story. I love that the dad stayed in his truth about working. He has had success, just the same as a university grad. His family is the best accomplishment. Peace and blessings to them. 🙏🏾
Nice spacious family home. I love the interior and swimming pool is massive 💯🙏🏾🔥. I think he spent a bit more than expected in construction but sometimes the contractors get greedy. I love and admire this beautiful family. Good luck with your future plans and endeavors.
Real quality is thousands of dollars in America, most affordable furniture is poorly made, fake wood, instead of using nails it's sometimes stapled, ect.
There are very good q uuality furniture made in Ghana but you must find those who know where they re made . Its not difficult if you ask around. Made from hard woods from craftsmen. It works out cheaper than the US. You have to ask around. You'll be amazed the finishing. The right people is the key.
My uncle once shipped his furniture to Nigeria from America when he returned home and quickly found out there are better furnutures in Nigeria. He gave all the furnitures he brought to his mother, my grandmother and bought Nigerian made ones.😅
Great video, Jasmine! I love the advice about starting a store and it giving you something to do in retirement. Thanks to the family for sharing their story.
They bought the land at the time when land was sacred to the owners.when money was not the main thing to the land owners. Now corporate greed has taken over, and the traditional owners have been corrupted.
@@fabriceassima4094 Although I may agree with you, given the average finishings in the house, we need to distinguish between what he believes the house is worth and the amount of money he spent on the house. If I recall, he said he spent about $400,000 on his house. He didn't say the house is worth $400,000.
Many Ghanaians just call themselves tyler ,carpenter, electricians etc . without schooling for that profession. Just apprenticeship is not enough. And that makes their finishing jobs shady work plus poor customer service. I hope the government will build more vocational schools and encourage people to attend and get their qualifications.
I don’t have “sugar in my tank” I WAS LITERALLY JUST SHY , i’m literally just a child, stop talking about me and trying to paint a narrative about me. Stop being weird!!!
Beautiful. I have a similar house in Pantang with a drug store too . I’m in Atlanta now looking forward to retire in about 4 years God willing
Beautiful house. Build in Ghana is not a joke so well done to them.
I know right 🙏🏾💕
Was this house built with spiritual US dollars or physical US dollars because I don’t think that is a true story.

The good idea about the shop is that they will never be lonely ..it brings the people in the community to visit the shop .buy items and and chat 🌹
Very wise man ..build within his means ..now they are enjoying ..congratulations 🌹

Beautiful no monthly payment! Good job guys! 👏
Very honest family!’
My advice to this family is to ship all furniture from the US. Our local guys do substandard work.
I ship all my furniture from the UK to Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe is not Ghana. Our locals actually make quality furnitures here

Beautiful family. The head of the house is so soft-spoken.
Beautiful home. Beautiful family. With time you'll be able to fix issues. I went through the same with shoddy builders. They are like that.

Great house❤❤❤❤
I think so 🥰
Beautiful home, but the size would scare me unless everyone pitched in the maintenance. Can't be cheap.
I think the same way. The house is great but when the maintenance starts it can be challenging.
Great content ❤
Thank u cx
