Its easy to understand, the more vocal talent a person has, the less they want them, simply because they want to avoid working harder to produce music that matches up with them, especially if they want or require real instruments, real producers, real composers, and real instrumentalists to do so. They want to pay as few people as possible and avoid instrument and equipment insurance. People like will, ella, and countless other singers want to make music that isnt the same seven sounds and three beats that we hear on the radio today. They also want creative control and a lot of newer artists just want to be big, the few who do have creative control sound different than the rest or they use more sounds from the same computer system, otherwise its just mass production with the same six songwriters having a hand in it with a few newbs. They don't promote anything like this because it goes against their training the public into accepting fewer differences in music to allow such laziness. But also to support Hollywood and media giants that want to numb and dumb people down, computer sounds dont stimulate the brain the way instruments do, nor does extremely limiting the types of tones and keys and tempos, so less emotion and development occurs, the words are less meaningful unless the writer is the singer and the singer has personal depth, if they can deny people real thought in music they can be just as kazy and selfish in other media

So many singers rely on heavy production these days. Wills voice is the star of the show. Dancing is too good also.
