I love bahn cuon too. That restaurant looked awesome and I would definitely want to visit there and try what Dion was eating. Love flat rice noodles and that looked so good. Great video guys!
4:30 I'm surprised the guy behind you wanted to be in the shot when he was wearing white socks and sandals 🤭🥴 What is it with that? Lol. The banh mi looks tasty, anyway 😆
@midlifetravelbug your street food tour looks so fun, just checked it out! to be honest, we were wanting to cover the top 3 banh mi in Hanoi but the banh mi in doesn't seem to be the best here!
When we were in Hanoi, we went to an outdoor restaurant not far from our hotel, called Restaurant Good Eat (literal translation, sorry I cannot remember the proper Vietnamese name). It was very nice and we thought it was quite cheap. £5 (= USD7) at the time (2007) for 3 dishes. Unfortunately, we did not try any other eateries, not even tried pho or banh mi. Next year, when we visit Saigon and Danang, we won't be so shy.
@ChrissieSM it's probably Quán ăn ngon, it's such a common Vietnamese restaurant name! 😂 wow your memory is sharp, 2007 and you still remember that experience so well!! next year is just right around the corner, so you must be getting excited and it sounds like you'll have a blast trying more food this time!
That BM didn't look that great to be honest. The actual BM, the bread, did look good but the filling looked a bit ordinary and it was very corporatised which coupled with the number of stores says to me go elsewhere.
Have you visited Hanoi before and tried their egg coffee? What'd you think? Let us know in the comments below! 💛
Check out more bun cha places since it’s known there

@grifsfoodandtravel banh cuon is also one of our favourite dishes in Vietnam too! So glad you liked the video 😄
You make travel look so easy and enjoyable
@Colorful-Inspiration we're glad you think so! it can be stressful at times because things always go wrong but that's the beauty of it all!
7:00 Love the location background, nice change up from other vids on train street!
@TheBureauAsia thanks for your support!! ☺
@dionandkimx Really enjoying your journey 👍
nice, thanks for sharing.
@scratchtotable Thanks for watching! We have plenty more Hanoi vlogs coming soon!

Bánh mì look yum but look the train race to scare
@longcao9291 haha! It was a fun day in Hanoi exploring 😊

That place is touristy
It’s the only decent place that does banh mi in Hanoi, the other places are way worse 😂
@@RogerDat00 bruh I got to admit Hanoi is not known for Banh Mi but saying that the only place got decent banh mi is crazy
@nickmaguire4914 this is exactly our thoughts too and what we conveyed in the video!
@AndreImmabe you've given us a great idea, we are thinking of reviewing more local banh mi places in Hanoi and sharing that 😃
Hanoi Banh Mi 👎🏽😂
@tc.247 baha, we are still trying to find some good banh mi's in Hanoi!
