This was at Manresa as I have never had much luck at sunset. As I have only caught one rod and reel I will say it was better than a jacksmelt 😂. I think the perch must for some reason drive the smelt out. Possibly they eat all the food. As soon as the perch left at the start of summer the smelt came in. I keep hearing early November for perch so we will see!

Was that a better catch than the jack smelt? Any ideas on why so many jack smelt? Is that Sunset? Ron
