Well MacBooks rarely have poor components like Windows laptops do. Mine lasted 10 years and then finally died. Maybe try one before you knock it? (i.e. afford one before you act like a bitch)
Same caps lock flash, but symptom was no screen, while system fans/drives running. 1 of the RAM modules had failed. Replaced & system all back to good as new. No need to replace laptop, as hp recommended!! Thanks 👍
this type of problems comes when does comes into the RAM we remove and clean it will work it happened to my friend seem like this on his PC so I clean the RAM after that works fine

I had a pavilion dv6 that stopped booting all of a sudden. It was just staying at the bios splash page and when i pressed a button, it went “beep”. I replaced the hdd and it somehow worked. Do you have any clue about why did that happend and how replacing hdd worked? Thanks.

Consider it a challenge. There's close to no information on it except send it to hp. I've tried reseating the CMOS, ram, and hard drive. It's an old laptop that I gave up on fixing and just recycled my hard drive to my new pc.

you got a bad hdd. either needed to be reseated or just broken.
