I do not particularly enjoying fights that are so much wrestling and control involved . But man , thats domination . Not cause you will see a fancy KO , or crazy ground and pound , but for that aura of invincibility . Makhachev , like his friend Khabib before , they just make you look helpless . They demoralize you with that feeling that they can wrestle you for a week straight if needed . You lose mentally after 2-3 rounds and then win is just impossible . I guess that's just a living reminder of what hard work , dedication and talent can provide . Respect .

The first Takedown is a thing of Beauty. I haven't seen something like that ever. People were worried about Makhachev's wrestling and thought he could score takedowns only near the cage, but he has taken down multiple people out in the open. Chain wrestling and Sambo really work.
His best td is the last one vs Porier, though. And looking from here, Porier gave Islam his best fight.
