This has got to be among my top five edits of these two and a relationship that could so easily have turned from friendship to true love. (Dammit, it was so close to love when Otis walked Maeve home from the clinic in season 1 ep.3). I have NO IDEA how this will pan out in season 3 but I'm sure Laurie and the other writers will have more heartbreak and edge-of-seat tension for us. Season two was way more stressful to watch because the will-they-won't-they situation got way more intense, even though Otis and Maeve had so little actual screen time together. What about those slow motion shots when they met in the corridor in ep. 1 when Maeve was "just visiting"? It's shots like these that make me know in my bones that Maeve and Otis are the characters that are holding this show together, and I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll get what we want in a mind-blowing lead up to that first special kiss in season 3 (?) I thought I'd hate Otis for all time after he treated Maeve so cruelly in ep. 6 at the party, but ep 7 followed with some great comic relief with Otis and Ruby. I still might change my mind, but my alltime fave scene in season 2 was Otis' gift of a 5-year diary to Maeve. She looked sooo incredibly in love with him there before the disaster to come in ep. 6. Both amazing actors of course and I'd be willing to bet Emma will be in Hollywood within 2-3 years. We're all seeing the start of something really big for her here. :-))
My Suggestions: Another Otis x Maeve MV

Season 3 predictions, before Otis can ask Maeve about the message she would have got with Isaac and so he'll keep away and think she's heard it. He will get with Ruby but he'll still kind of like Maeve. At some point him and Maeve will talk and argue and he'll blurt out about the voicemail and Maeve will realise what Isaac did and split up with him and Otis will break up with Ruby and then they'll finally get together.

I have the exact same predictions, but exclude the Ruby part, I think they'll be great together (Otis and Ruby) but that's what I wish for and not my prediction.

For two seasons now the Otis and Maeve story always ends bad and sad and makes us heartbroken and then here we go again we wait for a year to hopefully see them together. 😭 Netflix what the hell are you doing to us 😭

I love and hate how Isaac entered the plot. I love it coz it will make the series longer. And hate him on deleting Otis’ vm to Maeve. Tbh every one of us will miss the series if this end up fast like when Maeve and Otis became together. I would not getting tired watching it coz every episode have a different story were we could learn a lesson without being off of the main characters and plot. Every episode is refreshing unlike any other series were it revolves around the same story until it becomes a cliché. So definitely my best netflix series so far.
The path of true love for them is complicated, but the tougher the path, the more magical the story will be for us.

yeah in friends too, people would love to see rachel and ross together and after that they make it complicated and funny, but this is not that funny show, it is, but it was meant to be, so if they get together in a relationship, it'll be difficult to end the story.

"Dickhead" means "My Love" ... It was the Maeve's way of expressing her feelings to Otis by calling him, DICKHEAD.

Wonderful montage and nostalgy again
Alright that hallway scene is intense. Just as Otis is leaving, the very idea of telling him makes her smile and smirk, almost as if she can't contain the excitement. But just as she calls him and he stops, she looks at him and is reminded of the reality that he is with Ola. That and now the moment is happening, and she has to say it and express how she feels which already is enough of a challenge for her and she is too scared to say it. As Otis asks her "What?", she looks at him and thinks of how much he means to her. Then Otis goes with a heartfelt "What" as if deep down he still hasn't moved on, it seems as if he choked on that what getting all emotional thinking maybe she likes me back? And then Maeve all caught up with her feelings, chickens out :P and looks at the book as if she's just looking for something else to say, and goes with the mean response. Otis, tries to mask those feelings with laughter, feeling rejected again, and tries to put on a smile...

id say season 3 maeve will either get with isaac or get with someone else and be friend with isaac.
otis will assume that she is over him and so will ignore her and maeve will assume theyre still fighting so will ignore him. eventually they talk or fight or something and otis will mention the voicemail and coming to see her but meeting isaac instead.
They have a very unique relation
