Well, it's certainly a wonderful opportunity.... But it's not a matter of being "lucky". Taeyang has brilliantly marketed his long-awaited comeback by doing collabs with two of the most famous and biggest stars of Kpop currently. As a 2nd Gen star who wants to expand his fan base beyond the 2nd gen fans, it's important for him to get attention from 3rd gen fans. Blackpink's Lisa and BTS's Jimin have accomplished that. Taeyang did his part by creating great music and performances. But there's no denying that he needed someone like Lisa to help attract new fans to see "who this Taeyang guy is".
@@TEAM__POSEID0N i agree Taeyang needs new generation with a large scale of fandom to spread his name faster although VIP is a big fandom too but our fandom was dominated by men and we can really say the difference between men and women when expressing support. But in return, Taeyang gave a long amount of lines even its was just a ft. And even share the spotlight.. i mean not like with other artist that will collab with them just purely for clout but with the song vibes and shoong he give lines to make justice for the two idols.. other army was even shocked coz they only see this side of jimin with the vibe song and for lisa for me her lines her is her best line even better to her solos and lines in BP's song..her lines got smooth flow, with little bit bars and way got more sense.

@@kwonsandara17 Definitely. I'm very glad that Lisa was able to collab with Taeyang. It's easy to see that he wanted her to shine and did not just want to use her name to get attention. My only point is that it was a win-win situation for both of them. Both of them benefited a lot from the collaboration...and that's really what a collaboration should be about. I think everyone knows that Lisa has tremendous respect and admiration for Taeyang and Bigbang was one of her big inspirations when she was just getting started as a performer.
@@shokohdelnavaz8581 Definitely. I'm just saying that Lisa was an excellent choice and it was a really good collaboration that benefited both of them. If someone says that Lisa was just "lucky" it can be misunderstood as meaning that she didn't really deserve that kind of collaboration. They are both fortunate that they are colleagues in the YG/Black Label and have a good relationship that made this kind of collab possible. Of course, Taeyang showed what a really good, caring and classy person he is by handling it in a way that was very good for both artists.
