Ive taken the same boat but i went from Busan to Fukuoka. There is an outside deck for standard class on the back of the boat and its accessible for the entire trip. I spent alot of time there and the fresh air really helps. When we were departing Korea a bunch of people met on the back deck and had champagne and cigars and we had a small party to toast farewell to Korea. Amazing trip.
Thanks for this video! My husband and I are planning to do this in August! We would like to stay in Busan for the night so we can explore a bit. Do you recommend any hotels or Airbnb’s?
@@kellanmansano5273 we stayed here! It was very clean and comfortable. Check out our Busan video for the tour. One potential issue was the shower area and bed is very hard www.airbnb.com/slink/iYTHsFXT
Booking the ferry is super easy, you can do it online. Booking just needs to be done ahead of time or else you run the risk of not being able to get seats, especially during busy travel seasons. You can read our detailed guide about riding the ferry here, it includes how to purchase ferry tickets and what to expect when riding the ferry: thefroggyadventures.com/fukuoka-to-busan-ferry/ We enjoyed our time in Busan :) you can watch our video here: ruclips.net/video/O8oPjJyCxqA/видео.html
Hi , i am looking at same route as you.. either by beetle or camellia, but i couldn't figure my way to the port ...do you have any advise ? Like where and how can i get to the port ? Thanks !
Traveling through Asia is amazing! We're having the best time but we are mega jealous of yall! After that small taste of Van life we can't wait to try it in the US one day. But not sure what kinda van we'll be able to afford first hahah
See, that's one thing definitely different from European ferries is that you don't have to pay any extra or buy a business class ticket just to access the fresh air and the outside of the vessel. That puts me off using a Japanese ferry right away.
I think that aboard a ferry i would rather be outside breathing in the fresh air and being able to see what is going on, rather than be trapped inside eating unnecessary food.
How did you book the ticket? on the spot or online (if online which link)? Thank you
Links to purchase tickets can be found on our blog article here: thefroggyadventures.com/fukuoka-to-busan-ferry/ :)
Super useful, I'll be making this trip myself next month!
@@DanielLopez-ju8zs hope your trip went well!

Thanks 4 the nice video☺So you would recommend the business class? But have you been the only one there? Looks pretty empty in business class 😅
Yes we recommend business class! It's about $20 usd more than standard and less people, at least the day we chartered the boat. 🫶
Chillin in business class 👍🏼
Luxury bb 🥹
May I know what month when you travelled.?
Of course! We took the Ferry on October 19, 2023. Hope this helps 🫰

What was the experience like booking the ferry? Would you recommend visitng Busan during an 18 day trip to Japan?

@chloeandtrey thank you ! But any idea where should I board the bus 88? Any particular exit at train station?
Never got seasick. Crossed atlantic ocean 4 times, its a 14 night voyage. How bad are the waves between fuku and busan
@@3rdStoneObliterum waves can get bad, we were fortunate for smooth seas BUT its truly a gamble!
How did you book the ticket? TY!
Our blog article goes over the various ways you can book this ticket :)

Nice ferry! Totally better than a plane ride 🙌
Definitely! It was so luxurious. There's even like 2 free alcohol drinks and ice cream, we missed it on that one!! Next time 🤩
We want to go to sooo badly!

What did it cost?
It cost us $89 USD per person, however, the prices change depending on demand and season
Do you guys live in South Korea, Japan, or the US?
We are from Hawaii but currently traveling Asia for the year!
A A A this girl got all the moves 💃

Yo guys 👍 are you good 😂❤
Yes we landed safely in Busan! Thank you for comment 🤩🤩🤩
Visa is not needed?
We did not need a K-ETA visa since we have USA Passports. www.k-eta.go.kr/portal/board/viewboarddetail.do?bbsSn=149899
I miss Korea
Same! The shopping and food so good 😍😍 esp. olive young 😈
