Be still my heart... words can't express how beautiful this is. Let me paint a picture of myself listening. Here I am, sitting down, back to the chair's back, staring off into space, mouth slightly open, holding a fist to my heart, and on the verge of tears.
let me fix that step 5: (Optional) download the ending. step 6: Experience even more absurd things that would make goku from dbz would think are excessive . step7: Shatter the fabric of space and time.
R.I.P. Asura, a true badass who is second only to the Mighty Kamina. We will all miss you both. "But most of all... I will never forgive you... For making my daughter cry!" ~ Asura "The reputation of Team Gurren echoes far and wide. Its badass leader a man of spirit, a paragon of total masculinity... as if there could be more than one of the Mighty Kamina!?"
this game deserved so much MORE of what it sold...the story its the best i have seen in a long time, the characters, the locations, the lore...everything about this game its beautifull...you love the heroes, hate the villians, rage as much as asura does...you can feel his anger and pain at each moment...yet theres movie wanabes like NT who get so much atention undeserved for low quality stories...Asuras Wrath its what enslaved wished it could be
@@KamiTenchi if broly put of all characters in existence gets a movie then asura shoupd get one too i would even love a hellsing reboot with alucard i don't consider castlevania a canon.
This game was a masterpiece. It was so full of emotion (not only wrath and anger ;) ) that I couldn't stop playing it. I played it through 4 times by now and i can't wait to do it again. I loved every moment of it and sometimes i even cried. (death of the girl, Durga, and so on) I hope there will be more games like this. *-*
This is by far the best cinematic videogame ever created. The story, borrowing from legendary games and anime before it, coalesces them together to provide one of the greatest experiences of all time. I know a lot of people note that its gameplay lacks in a lot of aspects, and that its lasting appeal, considering the game is only 6 hours long, is unfortunate... not a single critic out there has argued against its presentation and story. This is a true legendary game in those aspects.
Asura's probably Liam's best roll in a long time, the dude deserves a lotta credit just for being able to keep his voice after all that screaming, and the character manages to have a hell of a lotta emotional deph for being an action game protag a la Kratos. Actually, Kratos is just a psychotic thug. There's a moment in the game where a child's being chased by goma, and when Asura steps in the first thing he does is push the kid away gently BEFORE he kicks ass. I miss guys like that.
God i love this song its so beutiful idky but every it i hear its it sounds like mitani is holding her emotions back and about a min into the song she lets it
I meant to say that Asura's Wrath was such a compelling, entertaining masterpiece that, despite how gratifying God of War 3's action sequences were and are today, it would be hard going back to God Of War after playing Asura's Wrath. Asura's Wrath had less gameplay, but the storyline meant a lot more than God of War 3's attempt at "redemption" did, it felt half-hearted, since GoW3 was supposed to be an epic battle that got derailed into an arc of Kratos' searching for a little girl.
So many epic things happened in the DLC,yasha's dead, auras wrath is finally gone, the god of all gods is defeated and from what i see Asura dies as well...
On the bright side, the DLC to continue the story looks just as, if not more amazing than the final boss. It looks awesome. Hopefully this will play during some point of the story extension.
With brand new episodes for this game (ep 19-22) being announced for DLC, who here wants to hear this being played for the TRUE true final boss? I know I do.
If the there was an anime adaptation that expanded upon the original game, gave a prequel season leading up to the games beginning and a completely redone version of Part IV Nirvana and if The anime staff came on to Project Barracuda for a Wii-U Remake, and add Platinum Games for the hell of it, it would make a EXTREMELY improved sequel. Thumbs up this comment if Platinum Games and Cyberconnect2 should make a Wii-u Remake of Asura's Wrath Together.
If you ask me, comparing Asura and Kamina's a bit like comparing oil and water - they're both badasses all right, but for different reasons. Kamina's a badass, fearless leader, while Asura's a badass father and ass-kicker. They're pretty manly, but in their own different ways. So it's a bit hard to see who beats who in the badass department.
Finally got to playing it. It took me a while, but when the credits started, well... T_T It was so sad, but also had facets of reality in it. Amazing bosses, amazing story, amazing ending. I'd say I want more, but this isn't the type of thing that can be continued, really. It's like Cowboy Bebop. Once it's ended, it's ended. It is done, period..
I... Wasn't trying to be pretentious. I just got a weird inspiration when I heard the song and just started typing out angsty words of angst. But you have to admit, the scene in the game where this song plays is kinda sad...
Step 1.5: punch a building-sized lardo into orbit; then when he transforms into a planet-sized lardo, punch his finger so many times when he pokes you that he explodes without destroying the eath in the process. WHERE'S YOUR CHUCK NORRIS NOW!?
Asura's was a Life Well Spent... I DID cry. I'm almost an adult man, but i cried. What game could possibly achieve this?? We cried! Most games don't have anything compared to Asura's Wrath.. They are just like.... pathetic. Nothing. Best game ever.
He was the least angry with the girl cause she reminded him of his own daughter, which put him in a false but sustaining calm. Killing her just made him snap because his "calm" disappeared, along with the added killing of innocents and all.. Plus, the already-suffering world, dead wife, and kidnapped and suffering daughter did not help to quell his anger, either. Though in the end, he never wanted to be angry, but his Mantra was anger, and so he gained the most power from that anger. Very sucky
@Truewarrior1000 Asura represents and whole race of deities in the Hindu religion, they are know as asuras. The two main race were Daityas and Danavas, they opposed the order maintaining deities know as Devas. While Devas maintain order, the Asuras were known to be sinful and materialistic.
Except they had too. There was no room on the disc to make that happen, it's thought that the last act wasn't originally going to be the last act, but a full sequel. The low sales turned it into that.
A small price to pay for an epic conclusion. The game itself has a solid ending, but if you go the extra distance for the "True" eighteen, you are doing a disservice to yourself to not complete the entire arc with Nirvana.
@godzilla4189 It would be a crime for this song not to play during the true final boss. Though I can't help but feel the "true true" ending will be soul crushingly depressing.
Bayonetta? She's hot, she's funny, and she's covered by her magic hair, and her hair could transform into dragon, giant bird, spider, and even a girl size of few planets.
I suppose it'd just have to be an adaption of the game rather than an independent anime series, it's difficult to go anywhere once you've had the protagonist beat the one true God to death with his bare hands. :P
@headshotwuzzy I'm not sure but if you change the language to Japanese then the vocals exist! I rented it in Europe so I couldn't have taken the Japanese ver of the game.
Well, I'm not so sure about that. When I showed it to someone else, she said to me that it was sad. I find it to be an uplifting and inspirational song (in the instrumental version, I do find it sad though). So I'm not sure about what you're saying. I wish I could know what the lyrics are truly saying.
its really like this AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It wasn't so much that they took it off the original disk as it was that they had the gall to charge of something that was clearly intended to be part of the original game. That said, the default ending is satisfying, and the people who actually make the product aren't the same people who market it. It just seems like some very poor decisions were made in marketing.
god this game is so engaging...actually while i was playing this I would get so caught up in the cinematics and story that i would forget that i was playing a game and when the action sequences popped up they would catch me off guard...I never owned a game that would do that
No more crying... Smile. My wrath is finally... gone. Durga... I'll be home... soon.

to most people, this song make them cry. to me, this song make me ANGRY!
listening to this song gave you BURST!!!!
It gives me power and will when there is NONE!!!!
I had 5 copies of this games for ps3/ps4. I love it that much. I needed the physical release/digital download. Still my favorite game to this day.

Sure as hell it deserves more attention than that birds of prey crap
@@ghostofdeath7388 I really can't believe it failed so miserably. There was potential in that movie.

Well, this is going into my favorites!

Actually...they're now officially considered as art by many museums...well deserved IMO

A demigod, a husband, but more than anything, a father who didn't want to see his daughter cry.
Finally! I been looking for this particular song all over the net!
Thanks alot! +1
This is what i`ve been looking for, thanks up.
this game and this song= cant stop playing the game from how epic the song is and the game :)
Manly tears have been shed...
God i love this song its so beutiful idky but every it i hear its it sounds like mitani is holding her emotions back and about a min into the song she lets it
The actual ending left me VERY satisfied
THIS is what game companies should strive to achieve, not 1000+ hours of online content on Call of shitty
been waiting for this song to be uploaded..i give you a big THANK YOU to you,YoplaboumX
This video makes me enraged for some reason. They've put a lot of spirits in this music.
"But above all else.... I will never.... Forgive you...... For making MY DAUGHTER CRY!!!" -EPIC DEMI GOD PUNCH- I wish I was that badass..

Loved this game, being a fan of japanese anime etc. This game for me, sure one of the best games 2012.
I was thinking the same thing, this deserves to be more popular
I cry every time I listen to this.
@Sawdagger Ithink the moment he overame his anger was a very touching scene too :)
I finally found this song! Thanks!!
Don't cry. Smile. My wrath is finally...gone.
So many epic things happened in the DLC,yasha's dead, auras wrath is finally gone, the god of all gods is defeated and from what i see Asura dies as well...
God Damnit I can get a little teary eye'd hearing this
They could always exaggerate the already immense scale of the game to make it even more immense.
When he change into demon, i cryied and have problem to beat this scene... Just beatiful...
Perhaps, but I won't hold my breath for a sequel.
On the bright side, the DLC to continue the story looks just as, if not more amazing than the final boss. It looks awesome. Hopefully this will play during some point of the story extension.
Asura's Wrath: One of the best anime I've ever seen.
thank you kindly!
such a good song.
This song is so powerful there's no Dislikes for it.
That, is the POWEr of Asura's Wrath..
cried so hard i couldn't press the replay button. T_T

Asura's script for the entire game: AAAARRRRGGGHHHHAAHHHHH!!! MIIIIIIIITHRAAAA!
YES!! THIS IS IT!!
dem chills man ooooooooohhhhhhhh man dem chills
If you don't cry after listening to this, you have no soul.
I cried.
No, were' not, were having fun, because of the fact that its the most awesome DLC ever.
Also, one thing to note, this game really did only sell 200,000 copies. Unless fan demand is high like with Okami, a sequel isn't likely, anyhow.
I... Wasn't trying to be pretentious. I just got a weird inspiration when I heard the song and just started typing out angsty words of angst.
But you have to admit, the scene in the game where this song plays is kinda sad...
Not to spoil the DLC's "True Ending," but after that, it's REALLY not likely that there will be a sequel.
You have to buy it, it's beautiful, one of the best game ever! Don't forget about the DLC with the real Ending!!!

Three dislikers were killed by Asura in a most brutal fashion: I won't be specific as to how he killed them.

There were only 3 MB of disc space on the disc itself. That's how much was left.
Asura wrath iz one of most epic game of this generation..!!
Personally, I loved both versions equally. I think there should've been parts where the vocals were played, and others where they should've been cut.
Why do I feel like skydiving all of a sudden?
@Truewarrior1000 Asura represents and whole race of deities in the Hindu religion, they are know as asuras. The two main race were Daityas and Danavas, they opposed the order maintaining deities know as Devas. While Devas maintain order, the Asuras were known to be sinful and materialistic.
