      In truth they all are. Whoever is behind it, WEF, WHO, UN, whoever you will find remarkably similar policies throughout the west on most subjects, farming, trans nonsense, everything. Even Build back better was a global slogan, possibly, probably a code word. It had meaning. I’ve never seen a global slogan like it. It also took me many months to discover it was a global slogan for it was portrayed as a purely Boris Johnson UK slogan. Only the internet revealed Obama, Clinton’s, Trudeau and more were also parroting the exact same slogan. That’s not normal. Hard as it is to believe my father was an MI6 British intelligence diplomat, long retired, he’s 92 now. I’m telling you they’re up to something. They plan decades in advance. I myself suspect it’s in response to the 1972 study Limits to growth which they will not ignore.

    What an appalling farmers spokesman. If a tractor costs £250k and a combine harvester £500k. So most farms will be expected to pay the Inheritance tax. This will kill farming on top of mad environmental rules, plus cheap imports of food and no support for them to sustain our food supply in the country. That’s after working 24/7 365 days a year on a farm and making little profit… The budget is all about ideology and attacking the perceived rich….

    • @johngraham6181
      @johngraham6181 10 часов назад

      A great deal of misunderstanding here. Tractors and combines are not eligible for Agricultural Inheritance tax relief. Only land and buildings and including the farmhouse and farm cottages. The issue is that the cost of modern machinery saddles the farmer with high levels of debt already so he won't be able to find another £400K or considerably more to pay an inheritance tax bill. Banks won't lend against a tax bill. Some politicians suggest you could take out a life policy to cover these debts. That assumes the farmer has that level of disposable income. If he has any spare he may be putting it into a pension pot. In reality with 90% of farmers he will be ploughing it back into his farm with a new barn, new milking parlour or new slurry store. Under the new rules that will just load his IHT liability. So the correction here is £165k tractor or a £199k used combine will not effect his/her IHT but could well make such bills impossible to service. And yes I am a farmer!

    Sir Keir Starmer has promised to build "the next generation" of new towns, along with 1.5 million homes, as part of a "decade of renewal under Labour". Sir Keir promised to accelerate building on unused urban land to create the "next generation of new towns" near English cities, echoing those built by the first Labour government after World War Two. Well, this new Tax Scheme puts farms at risk if you can't pay your farm tax , the government takes it over !!!

    The inheritance tax affect farmers because when handing over to their younger family they will have to find upto a £1million pounds tax. That equals the whole value of the farm, so the farmers son or daughter will be left with nothing, so no farmers. The land will be sold to corporate companies, whose aim will be profit, NOT food quality. It just shows the lack of intelligence within the "Labour" Party. So food WILL be more expensive and of a lower quality and our countryside full of food factories and housing estates.

    Liz Webster doesn't want to have her sons pay the £2m tax due when she's for the off. Incidentally she's also an ex-Labour candidate who left in protest at Brexit and used her fields to share a huge stop brexit message. Then joined the ultimate middle men Lib-Dems, tried to be the Wiltshire police commissioner, stood for election in the Cotswolds for the Lib-Dems and when that all failed set up a recruitment firm supplying nannies to her well heeled contacts in the land and farming industry.
    The farms are contractors for the supermarkets including the multinationals and hedgefunds who own the likes of Asda - Walmart.
    Entitled people like Liz and Julia have had their hands out all their days. Deriving all the benefits from their lucky lot in life. Taking full advantage at all times.
    Ask them to contribute to better public services, the same public who fund all their subsidies, tax breaks and ultimately their whole lifestyle by buying their products and they are up in arms with their pathetic virtue signalling.

  • @matty506
    @matty506 10 часов назад

    The tax is 20% on anything above the value of £1m of land and if a family home is on the land then the threshold goes up to £2m. of the 3100 farms for sale in the UK right now only 600 are valued above £2m. Let say they have a £3m farm of which there are only 400 for sale, they will have a tax bill of £200k that can be paid back over 10 years. Most first time buyers will be paying more than that on their first home. If you can't find £20k a year from a £3m estate then you probably aren't the best person to be in charge of such an asset. I pay £9k a year for a bedroom, not a house a bedroom. And these people are moaning 🤣
    And remember, the rest of us if we are lucky to be left anything will pay 40% on anything above £325k. So we'd pay more if we were left £800k than a farmer that was left £3m.
