    Legend. Thanks so much. Try it out in a few hours. Really thanks heaps. While I got you though ha. I'm struggling with getting guitar pedals to work through Aux sends on the mixer. Do you need an additional something a rather? Thanks again.

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  5 лет назад

      Signal may be too weak to drive pedals. I would go with amp mics or modeling. Pedals are designed amp levels.

    Hey hey, how do you route usb audio from a DAW back onto the mixer. Thank you. This series has been super informative.

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  5 лет назад +1

      It’s already routed through the mixer. Read manual on playing back your daw mix. Default set is on ch. 1&2 for fire wire, probably the same on usb mixers. But you set this return in the song audio setup.

    Hello. Great Content. I have a question, I have the 16.0.2usb version and my speakers are connected to the main output (xlr) now i bought a fx pedal (big sky reverb). Is it possible to connect the pedal to aux 1 and use the pedal on all channels like the internal fx‘s? Thanks for your help. Best, a.

    Hi, thanks for the video. Is there a way you can use a fader to control delay for example?
    That is instead of turning the delay knob to boost delay for a channel.

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  10 месяцев назад

      I don’t think so. We used to run into a second channel to do it in the old days. But we had fx returns and this mixer don’t have any. Maybe someone at Presonus can tell you. Maybe if you assign the delay to an Aux send and control it using that fader?

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  10 месяцев назад

      I don’t know if it route internally that way.

    If we have 4 band members and want to run in-ear monitors for each, can we run them out of the four aux channells? Or, how do we run in-ear out for the 4 band members if not that way?

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  3 года назад

      Yes you can do 4 separate mixes for your members that way.

      Yes you can. Rout them to the AUX you have monitors located on.

    Hi, Im running my aux output straight to my stereo earphones but the sound comes out as mono- I can only hear it from one ear(left). Can you help? Any thoughts? - I use a behringer PM1 and Shure 215

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  5 лет назад

      Try plugging the headphones into the headphone jack.

    • @jrvillanuevamusic
      @jrvillanuevamusic 5 лет назад

      the purpose was to avoid foldbacks -headphone jack is not a problem. we use in ear monitors but this presonus aux seem to not work for us. like i said, we use jack to xlr then xlr to PM1 Behringer then straight to in ear monitors.

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  5 лет назад

      If you are using in ear then why the headphones? Are you trying to monitor the entire FOH mix? Next to the Main Outputs there are L/R Monitor outputs. You can run some headphones into a Y chord and connect them there. You can control the level via the monitor controls. Hope that helps.

    Hello question. Ok so if I press channel one ,I notice the fat channel EQ lights out to adjust and that goes for each channels but what about if I want to EQ the aux one , channels individually. I notice when I press aux one the fat channel pops out to adjust the overall EQ for the whole mix but can you do that for each channel like how you control the effects without affecting the mains

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  11 месяцев назад +1

      By pressing the Select button for Aux 1, you can add dynamics processing and
      EQ to the overall monitor mix. -manual p.29

    I have the Studio Live 16.0.2 USB. My 4 Aux outputs are mono. I would like send a stereo Aux signal to my vocalist. How can I do this with the 16.0.2 USB. Can Aux 1 and Aux 2 be linked to send a stereo signal to my vocalist?

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  2 года назад

      Yes you can link 1-2 and 3-4 together. 2 and 4 will control the Pan for each group. If you don't have the manual it's downloadable from Presonus. It's a very capable mixer but you'll get lost without a manual.

      Hold the FX button in the master section down while powering on the mixer. It will factory reset. WHen you see the splash screen say "Presonus" you can let go of the button.

    Question please can you add different effect in each channel. Like channel one vocal will have large hall and channel 2 or 3 a different effect if so how do you do that

    • @TheGospelGuitarist
      @TheGospelGuitarist  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes simply select the channel and use the fx section to set it to whatever you need. Every channel can have something different going on.

      Ok, first things first, go get the manual from the Presonus website and read it. At least watch all of my videos on getting around on this mixer quickly. I have a playlist which you've probably seen. I just followed the quick start guide which came with the mixer and made videos. Also down load all the software currect versions. It has a completely free verson of Studio One recording software which works with this mixer. No body can guide you through everything you need to learn. I have videos on most aspects of this mixer to at least get you to know what you are doing as a beginner. The manual is a must even if you don't like to read manuals, who does? Ok, I do, but I'm a tech computer guy too. lol
