Hi Dan , great video , I love being able to see how different things are put together to preserve them , or how things are made !! The young lady shop owner was so informative snd she has a unique and interesting profession that her father started and she carry’s on !! Dan your deer was mounted beautifully and he’s beautiful , I know you’re proud of all your mounts , and they look nice on your office wall !! Thanks for another great video and thanks for bringing us along on these type of adventures !! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
Thank you Dan, you made me cry, my father was a hunter...a big one. When we lived in Tucson many moons ago, he shot a Javelina, couldn't afford to pick him up from the taxidermist. Many years passed an my dad finally able to retrieve him but they had sent the Javelina to a museum because he was so large, had him on display ,they gave him back to my dad and I am the proud owner now. Here in California my dad went deer hunting every season, never came home empty handed. He wound take friends and their friends would hire my dad to take them hunting for weekend trips. God, how I miss him !! Thank you for sharing, you made my year !! God bless 🙏
There is a fine line between craftsmanship and artistry. They must do great work for them to have so much business. Thank you Dan and to the young lady for the tour.
# 45 !?!?!?! I never thought of you having Dark Hair!!! Just assumed Blonde!!! Actually, when you ask people who come into your office, how many pick you out correctly???? Fabulous Video!! I sure hope the negative comments stayed out of here! I do not hunt, I cannot imagine going hunting, but people do and we need to keep the population in sink, and the Animals are Beautiful !!!! So why not enjoy them, because they will always be there!!!! I Love your Office Dan !!!!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
This was so cool to see beautiful animals, growing up my dad used to take us deep-sea fishing. We have a mounted 10 foot and 12 foot hammerhead shark. I’m so excited you took us all to taxidermy love my farm family❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Dan, very cool video! Thank you for taking us along, and thanks to the owner for the tour. What they do there truly is art. Congratulations on your buck, and cool office you have there. God bless and love from Canadice NY ❤
Wow this was a very cool video. What great mounts you have in your office. Thanks for sharing. I can see you & your lake buddy's planning an Africa tour with that lady in your future. Just for the cool experience adventure..
I'm not into hunting but a lot of family members do.I love that you show different stuff . I love seeing all these amazing Craftsmen. Beautiful work . Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Dan and thanks for sharing ❤️
Thank you for sharing how an animal is reconstructed! My son and grandchildren have several deer head hanging on their walls. I’m going to have to show them this video so they can see the process!
G’day Dan I love these videos as I live in Australia it’s very interesting to see how or what the process is of the business they do Thankyou Dan & the business for allowing you to video 💜🇦🇺💜🇦🇺💜
I enjoyed watching this Dan. I learned things I did not know. Thank you. I realy love the fox. Your Son Jake looks just like you in your football picture. This was a awesome video. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
Hi Dan. They do beautiful work. It was nice seeing a south Texas buck. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley and my step-dad used to hunt at a ranch near there. The deer were huge. When I moved to Snook TX, just outside of College Station, a guy I was dating and I had a deer run across the road in front of us. I said, "Look at the baby. It just lost it's spots." I was informed that it was a nice size doe. I just laughed. It wasn't to me.
Great video. My Dad and sons have MANY mounts and I think they’re all beautiful. I was able to find your picture so easily because it looks like Jake in the picture 😂
Hi Dan. Thanks for your warning & preface to this video. Sometimes it's needed. So, they're all basically fake. I always thought the mounts & full bodies were real (insides). I have a friend who has head mounts & was always nervous around them, an eerie feeling but now I know better. Thank you Dan & the Ottea taxidermy shop for this educational video. Also I'm wishing you, Lou & the family a wonderful, blessed & harmonious Thanksgiving ❤.
Oh my I enjoyed this video, it's not my thing but I found it very interesting, thank you for taking us along. Akways wondered how it was done and the process of taxidermy 💚
They do awesome work!! Thank you for sharing. I thought you were on the back row, number 66 or 68, right behind the one that was you. I don’t know why I thought you had blond hair😄❤️
That was really interesting to watch. They do a great job. Why don't you have a couple at home or has Lou put her foot down haha. They look great in your office, those beady eyes watching you hehe. Ps I've watched all your videos from when you first started. I love everyone there, the family are so lovely, makes me feel like I'm part of yours. Sending lots of love to you, Lou and all the families on Morrow land. God bless you from me Nixie in Cheshire, UK ❤❤❤❤
I'm not a hunter, but this was a VERY fascinating look into your life, Dan...thank you for sharing a little more about yourself beyond your life on Morrow Hill...
Thanks Dan for sharing this 👍🏻 my family hunt. My 9 y/o is just starting to wanna go also. My oldest son has gotten many deer and I can’t wait to see my youngest get him one. If he does I will most def get it mounted for him. We have a few deer in our freezer yr round, it’s a much healthier option than buying it from a store. Great job on ur hunt ,have a great day. I hope u & the family have a wonderful Thanksgiving day, God bless u all 🙏🫶🏻 Wow Dan u have quite the museum in tht office, amazing. I love the bobcat mount, but here where I live in the mountains of Ky bobcat r everywhere. And unfortunately they’re predators when u have farm animals, especially chickens. So I could’ve had a few of those things mounted. Great addition to ur collection there Dan, dang I’d love to find one with a rack like tht. We hunt for the meat only, but when u can get one like tht 😅💯👍🏻 Great job.
Hi Dan, Totally Awesome video Thank You & the pretty lady for the tour. 😊💞 I wanted to taxidermy my dog, but my partner would not let me have it done. Thank You again Dan. Very interesting 😎 Have a Wonderful Blessed Day ❤️🦄❤🦄❤🍀
I am not a hunter and did not grow up around any hunters myself but I am not against people that do. I don't believe in hunting for sport killing like the canned hunts that some rich people participate, in but hunting and using the deer or animals to provide food for themselves or others or hunting to remove a predator that is killing people or their animals, is what hunting should be all about. This was fascinating to watch. Thank you Dan.
I'm ANITA: I'm not a Hunter but Family Members are, and this was so interesting. Let me ask you; "Have you Ever Seen a White Deer"? I've never know of anyone seeing one that hunts but We Have One in Our Back Woods. By Law you can't shoot a White Deer but You Can if It has One Spot of Color. Ours in Back has 2 brown spots so it can be shot. But Who Would Want to? Thank you Dan for this Video. I loved the girl in the shop and could relate to her trips to Africa. I watched Safari Live/ Wild Earth with guides in Live time for a Lot of Yrs. You really get to know the Leopards, Lion Prides, and so Many Animals. You wouldn't think so but they have names Like a Leopard that is Male and known by his territory. Lions don't have names but they have Pride Names. I've seen Impala on there fighting during rutting season with there horns hooked like the deer in the shop. Hope you enjoyed this. Luv From Tenn. God Bless Y'all and God Bless All the Animals
I watch Mulletman on youtube. I've learned a lot from his hunting videos. He euro mounts his own stuff which is interesting. I have no qualms with videos like this because like he says "eat what you kill". If you hunt to harvest for family, friends or someone in need then I'm for it. I'm not into just "trophy" hunting for sport. Unless... The meat is donated. I worked at a sanctuary many years ago and that's how we fed our predatory animals. Meat was donating from hunters or fresh road kill. Thanks for the educational video Dan! Don't forget your haters. Eating your hamburger or steak comes from plant somewhere and you know nothing about the conditions, just like me. Hunters know and homesteaders/ranchers know.
Not really a fan of hunting, however, this was so interesting! Love the hides and antlers. Looks like they do a great job! Also, I would not be offended if Joey lost some of his clothes!😂 Thank you for allowing us in! ❤
@kellyjo5972 Kelly Jo, I have to agree with you!! I wouldn't of been offended if Joey had lost some of his clothes!!!! 🤣 What a Great Taxidermy Place, I bet the Lady Operator / Owner’s Father is very Proud of Her!! Have a Happy Tuesday!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Awesome excursion! Thank you! I hope you have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!! 💖❤💘💝💓I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a part of your day with us!!! Have a great day!!!!
Really interesting and educational video. I've never understood the appeal of dead critters on the wall, but I always enjoy learning how different professions do their craft. ☺️
Thank you, Dan Like always enjoy your videos. I think it was pretty cool 😎 wow Dan that is a big 10 Points, what a rack ,on that deer wow awesome you are the man Dan😅
Amazing craftsmanship & very interesting 👍 I don’t have any problem at all with ethical hunting for food,’eat what you kill’,that’s absolutely acceptable & an honourable end for a wild animal. Now canned hunts, trophy hunting just for itself, baiting, they are an entirely different matter. I have zero respect for those people.
Dan, I have to say this video is great. I appreciate hunting for food to provide for family and others. Mounts are trophies for the hunter but also celebrate the animal in its beauty. None favorable parts become good food for other animals, even bones.
This is the kinda videos I thought your channel was gonna be with the title Daniel Morrow Outdoors. Not necessarily hunting, but camping, hiking, outdoor activities. Very interesting.
Thanks!! I’ve always wondered HOW those are done!! NOW I KNOW. Cool that it has a fake under the skin. Always thought it was the actual bones!! Funny!! Ur office is getting full. I really like the foul and cats!!
@peggysmith5202 Peggy, I also thought it was the actual bones!!!! I'm glad to learn different!! Dan sure got a Beautiful one this last hunt!! But seeing his office, he has done well throughout his hunting experiences!! Have a Happy Tuesday!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
Nothing like stocking the freezer before the holidays… People need to remember where the meat 🥩 in the grocery store comes from! 🤷♀️ Just saying….. There’s definitely some cool things to look at…. 💖❤️💝
She does pretty good work! My grandmother was a taxidermist when she was alive. My favorite one she did was a full body black bear a guy shot on a bear hunt. The bear was taller than my grandma but she did an amazing job. She mounted it standing up holding onto a bee hive that the bear was pulling from a tree. She made the hive and the partial tree from plaster. It take a lot of artistic ability to paint it all to make it look real! I still have a lot of her other mounts and hides that she has done.
I love these excursion videos! We wouldn't get to see places like this and the saddle shop otherwise. Thank you Dan! 😊

So interesting! Thanks for sharing. My husband was a duck and goose hunt. When he finally got a wood duck, he had it mounted. So beautiful.
Wow! Thanks Dan. And yes, thanks to these folks for sharing! I for one love jobs that are not all paperwork! 👌🦌🦃

Very interesting video Dan. Thanks so much.
Great video. My Dad and sons have MANY mounts and I think they’re all beautiful. I was able to find your picture so easily because it looks like Jake in the picture 😂
What an amazing place, she runs a good business there & does very good work! Our dogs love the antlers to chew, especially the split ones.
I love this one my living wall has deer heads about 5 of them when Christmas time comes we put Santa hats on them
This was so interesting! I learned new things. Thanks for bringing us along.

Absolutely amazing to learn about it. These guys are super knowledgable. Thanks for sharing, Dan.

Good Tuesday Morning, Dan and Lou ❤❤
Hey Dan. Loved this. Thanks for sharing ❤
There is a lot of work into having a mount done! And it truly is a labor our love to be a taxidermist! We have many mounts in our house!
She does pretty good work! My grandmother was a taxidermist when she was alive. My favorite one she did was a full body black bear a guy shot on a bear hunt. Beautiful Dan❤🎉 Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳
