Trudy am an immigration officer in Ghana and I think the problem here is that you don’t have a residence permit of Ghana in your passport which qualifies as a visa anytime you want to enter Ghana again. Just a marriage certificate doesn’t qualify as a visa in Ghana. Please since you are married to a Ghanaian get it done is actually very cheap for people married to Ghanaian or with Ghanaian background. Take care😘

Some citizens with documents are better than others. Airlines can really deter you from travelling and administer immigration duties?
In any case, why all these borders and immigration systems to check what, migrants as the establishments calls everyone?
And in principle, our parents and grandparents signed up to all of this?

With the way you were saying, your legs hurt badly. That could be a sign of a couple of things that could be dangerous if you fly. One more than any other is blood clotting in the legs. I would recommend seeing a doctor before taking any more flights because these types of things can be life-threatening. Clotting does not care if you're young or old, man or woman. Please get a check-up as soon as possible.
You are correct...that was the first thing I thought of when she spoke about pain in her legs. I was just diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg. Blood clots I your veins are deadly. I hope she checks it out.
@@naudiaworme4323 Me too, I have first-hand experience dealing with them. Plus, she needs to know that women are little more likely to get a clot and even when pregnant. Getting diagnosed early is best, and she should wear compression stockings whether if she has had one or not. Nursers and doctors wear them all day because they do so much standing and sitting daily on the job. She needs to know how people get clots, and diet is also a big factor. What you put in your body one night could end up in a clot the very next day. Trudy, don't sleep on this, it is actually that important to pay attention to.

I really respect you for the way you calmly handled the situation. I always travel with a few of my utility bills, driving licence and even pay slips in addition to my travelling documents, in case. Because i have been singled by immigration officers on transit before.
You were very polite through it all and you were accommodated by them. Some people would have been screaming and cursing and would have made it bad for themselves.

We have every right to be angry, we were murdered hung from tree, our children were fed to alligators and a whole lot more, any human experience what we have should be angry. So, you remain calm, that is fine, but you seem comfortable with the business class flight as if that should suffice. You can remain calm and take action, if Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King junior and the other who have sacrifice their life was allowing them to do the things to them then we would not be in or even travelling on plane. Slavery would still be in America.

Am a Travel Agent. My experience with Qatar has never been pleasant at all. Some of their staff tend to have issues with travelers who hold certain passports, or are from certain countries. It's either they tell you you have too much luggage and frustrate you with luggage issues or they hold you for no good reason. Their airfares are great but avoid booking them if you can. Hope everything works out for you Trudy. I can imagine. That appears to be so frustrating.😅 Am glad they realized and acknowledged the inconvenience they caused you though.
