I had a pair of Timberland boots I wore on hikes and probably walked several hundred miles in North Ga, Tn, N.C, Mexico, and Yellowstone. Never did any treatment other than scrape Mudd off. They were the best. Just bought another pair, hope they and myself last as long as the first.
@@Fleming83 Obviously you use it... It came with it.. Shit.. Google it.. He cleaned the boot thats what the video for... It isn't a how to apply mink oil video 😆
Idky yall getting on Fleming for saying it's a bad video, it technically is. Alot of people don't know how to clean timbs, which is probably why reshoevn8r made the video.
Bruh! I swear to God I was just going to clean my girl's pair of Timbs just now. Was just going to jump on the Tube to find some music to play while I worked and saw this upload on my subscription list! This is awesome! Glad to know that I won't be needing the brass bristle brush for this cleaning. Great video! Now was there a reason why you didn't use the mink oil that you had displayed in the beginning of your vid?
If I apply shoe protector spray, will it make the suede stuff? Like, when you run your finger back and forth on the shoe, it lightens and darkens or whatever ya know. Will the shoe in general be stiff or anything after apply protector?
Hey vick i watch ur vids all the time but I need to know what angelus paint mixture is needed to touch up the toe box of infrared 23 toro 6 because I tried to touch up a scratch with the collectors edition infrared but it was too dark
Liissteeeen man as an East coast tim rocking monster who been doing constructs for at least 20 years alllll u need is a wet paper towel literally not 4 oil and shit but day to day dirt n shit best thing is wet paper towel but works magic trust
Reshoevn8r what about when the suede or nubuck has scuffs and stuff on it? Should i just use some clippers and shave it down also like other suede shoes or what?
666ANG a soft bristles brush is usually recommended. Brush the nap on both directions gently. Some people shave them but it can be damaging. A nubuck/suede eraser will help any oil that laid in that spot also.
Hey uh guys, I need some help looking for shoes. I had these white Timberland "sneakers" not boots, I cant seem to find it anywhere now, I don't know if they were fakes or just a knock off from my country but It clearly is not and doesn't feel fake. So I left the shoes when I moved countries, and I wanted to know if Timberland still produces these shoes. The appearance of the shoes: Mine were white has little holes in the vamps/toe box and If I recall it has a metal plaque with the Timberland logo printed on it, Idk where it was placed on lace but Im thinking it was placed on the bottom part of the lace or it was on top. The sneakers resembles a chuck kind of tops but kinda at medium length. I was also thinking if Timbs had a colab with Nike since my shoes kinda resembles that one Nike sneaker that also has the same appearance as this but mine were a bit a bulky and big, kinda like from the early 2000s. Pls help
Wet towel and an iron bro will donr let the towel get dry if it does resoak it before continuing or the leather will dry and crack. But if you do it right they shoudl look neatly new. Make sure to wash the exterior throughly before decreasing otherwise you will set in any stains or discoloration. Stuff the shoes with towels shoe tree etc until they hold as close to the new in box shape and possible and start the process.
I have a bunch of early 2000 tims, 6" premium in really really good condition but wanted to touch up a few things b4 selling on 1 or 2 prs. I don't want to ruin them as most have barely been worn. Some real beauties.
Didn't even touch the soles! They were crazy scuffed. Even just hitting them with hard brush, or even the brass would have significantly improved their appearance.
I'm so afraid to Mess them up. Especially taupe & cornflower blue cuz majority of the boot is perfect & in fresh out of box condition but 2 or 3 tiny dots on toe bed & 1 has some lace marks on tongue. Scared I'll make them look worse to fix tiny details. They r 12, 13, 14 yr old bad boys that barely spent time on feet at all. Soles show that . Zero wear on them.
Okay guys I have a problem, I used the reshoven8r cleaning product on my Tim’s which should be fine for suede but they have turned from the wheat Color to a dark brown color and it’s been almost 24 hours and they don’t seem to be changing back. What do i do
They look purposely dirtied. Not saying these guys did it cause 99% of the shoes they restore look worn but the soles on these look pretty good nick and there are oil marks where you wouldn’t get them normally using them as a work boot

You may be able to clean them off using the steps in this video. However, that all depends on how bad the mold is.
