I don’t know who designed it but he or she has no idea what a well designed aft should look like. This one looks like it took the jetty with it when leaving. Not all ship models can have a swimming platform, in this model it should have a rounded aft which would have made it a strong looking classic ship

privateer177666 probebly with lots of water splashing over the aft. Normaly she should get lift of a wave but this one is pushed down

Sergio Miletto shut up if you can’t write without using the F... word. This isn’t a ship which needs more speed nor efficienty, it needs style which it hasn’t by building that platform. And it’s now less save to sail in bigger waves because it ‘s pushed down instead of up

I owned a Menorquin 160 for a few years here in the US. Firstly, it is a semi displacement hull, and the semi displacement capability comes from the "swim platform" which actually allows the vessel to get up on a semi plane. Originally the Baleric sailboats were and are full displacement. The "platform" provides for the semi plane capability. It is a wonderful slow go boat. It takes a head on seas with the plumb bow most efficiently, though in truth it is a wet boat, where the plumb bow creates tremendous splash onto the bow and windshield on a head on sea. A following sea, with the platform and clean bow line provides the operator with the need to quarter a following sea so as not to allow the plumb bow to dig into the sea when following. It is adorned with African Teak interior and is a most beautiful vessel. Specs are: 52' length, 16.5 beam, 30 ton dry displacement, and a draft of approx. 4.5 feet. I fitted mine with a stern thruster, bow thruster (factory provided) and a yacht controller for individual captain control. I hope this provides some detail not available in the video.

I hope it's available without that ridiculous platform on the rear. Davits would appear to be more than adequate.

the cabins are very well laid out Masters laid out very well very nice looking, seems to me trying to sell a boat by looks without durability life expectancy range fuel accommodation water combination want to play the music and show pretty pictures of it floating you're going to manufacture see where the vessels and maybe you should talk and show why they are considered seaworthy just from a sailor's point of view what kind of engines what kind of range at what kind of RPM top speed watermaker? Water capacity? Gray water capacity? Freezers redundancy? that Helm did not look very comfortable to Pilot from having to look forward and lean forward to continuously see my gauges and my instruments just a thought from a person who spent more than half their life making a living on the ocean
