Love the grunge Caroline. Halloween isn't celebrated here but I love a lot of the journals around this time of year. It inspires people to a bit more creepy and grunge than normal and I so love that 😀
Hi Caroline! what a fun Halloween journal. So many ideas to be incorporated into a journal, no matter theme! This one reminded me of Harry Potter. I guess it was the owls. Question: You mentioned this was a request from a friend. Do you make journals as gifts only? Do you make commissioned pieces? I haven't seen any store or reselling platform for the books you make. If you make commissioned pieces or sell them, could you do a video? Maybe just hit the pros-cons, or general tips for those who might be interested. I think there is a demand for handmade junk journals, but not at some of the prices out there. However, that said-- I would never want to underestimate the artists talents, time and cost! I think of making some and selling, if I searched, others may have already made such a video, but it doesn't seem like something very many talk about. Competition! Anyway, I loved this journal and love your style of book making. You make it appear to be so easy! And just the right size, too. I hope your friend enjoys the book. ♥

I don’t make journals for resale, the only time I have made journals for others are as gifts for friends and family (and the odd person who insists on paying because it’s for a friend of theirs.). That is rare. This is a fun and relaxed creative process, that if I started to make journals for selling, it might feel like a job. Sharing my journal making and how I use them for memory keeping and art journaling is my passion. Our lives right now, with young grandchildren, is very busy and first priority. So I will stick to my travel bag and craft on vacations and in our daughter’s closet 🤣 I hope this is some help to you! I’m grateful that you are here 🥰🍁🌸

I’m not an Halloween fan, in Portugal it’s a very recent thing and it’s mainly celebrated at schools with younger students. When I was a student in the 80s and 90s, we never talked about Halloween. Thant being said, I really like your journal. I like the colours, because I love orange and that raven 🐦⬛ on the cover looks amazing! I love ravens 🐦⬛🐦⬛🖤🧡🐦⬛🖤🧡🐦⬛🖤🧡🐦⬛🖤🧡🐦⬛🖤🧡
