Especially in this moment that you found yourself in 8 years ago. You treated the situation as a true professional. You were the one to originally gain my interest within the competitive call of duty scene, and here I am, a decade later, still watching every damn event. Nadeshot and Scump seemed to get along so well. This was very unexpected.
You can tell they are both hurt, they both look like they're about to cry when they talk about everything that happened after UMG Philly.

Nadeshot cannot take full responsibility for the roster changes Rambo got dropped for him not his fault, Merk did not think of Matt And Will as friends anymore so they dropped him as a team, Jkap was dropped because they were not placing well, Will retired to coach Optic because he had been playing the game so long and he left as the GOAT, Scumpii left optic because he didn't get what he wanted, now how childish does that sound, so Matt don't be so hard on yourself it was not all your fault.

I dont think the problem is Nadeshot. As a player he's not as bad as people make him out to be. The problem with Optic is their attitude towards gaming. I don't think its possible to be a RUclipsr/Streamer and be a professional COD player. It has to be one or the other.

This is such a powerful video. Last year Merk, Big T, Scump and Nade sat in this room excited about the future. OpTic was at an all time high and things were looking up. Then by January 2014 it's just Nade. Sitting in that room that once was the home of such excitment. Now a room full of regret imo

I don't think Nadeshot's the problem, I think people are hating on him because he's not the best player, I really think that it's more on Seth's end, because I love Seth, but he's got a short fuse sometimes. There's no doubting his skill, but I've seen him get upset over a lot of stuff, and each party has equal blame. I'm not gonna try to pick sides, but I do think that Seth definitely isn't innocent in this.
IMO people think Nade is worse than he actually is, I'm an optic fan and I also think Nade is not a really good player but now the teams looks really good,strong af. Scump is being so childish on twitter no comment on that. I don't know how to feel about that.

The bottom line is Optic were the kings of the hill back when it was Rambo,BigT,Merk & Scump. They have had declining levels of success since those halcyon days. That doesn't mean it's all on Nade. Esports are bigger. More talent is being discovered. The brackets get tougher and new tough teams form. When you are on top and can't recapture glory people tend to look outward for the reason why rather than inward. This whole scenario looks exactly like that. If nothing else this roster change will help everyone 'feel' like they are moving forward whether it is true or not. Though I think Envyus is looking really really strong now. Optic's SnD game is going to be close to unbeatable with Parasite now. He is a beast at that game type. CoD championships are going to be fun to watch.

My honest thoughts: I loved OpTic with Nade, Scump, BigT, JKap. They were a fun team to follow & watch. However, I believe they will be a title contending team now with the addition of Clayster, Ricky & Parasite. The OpTic pro team is about winning championships, that's the bottom line. I personally believe this is a positive move forward.
As fans we don't get to see what goes on behind closed doors. Therefore, the drama is irrelevant to me. I can still watch the other guys by subbing to their channel.
Good luck to OpTic Gaming in the future.

No matter how hard it was for you, I admire that you humbled yourself and addressed your side of the story. It will be interesting to see how you guys play (I would have already but Twitch streams are always buggy for me, and I'd like to see all of the moments of the series instead of just team highlights) now with the new roster. Unfortunately, from an outside, not-so-understanding view of things, I just don't see the team working out. Still hope the best for you guys, and all of the other competitors. I just wish MLG teams had more consistency, and improved as a team instead of as individuals.

Not even gonna lie, the thing I'll probably miss the most will be the trio - Scump, Nade and BigT, just having fun and making boss commentaries together. When BigT left and became coach, OpTic didn't feel the same anymore. Now that Scump's gone, I feel for Nade a little. It's kinda like losing a best friend. Him and Scump were like bros and they had this sort of natural chemistry between them when they played and made videos that always made them entertaining. Definitely gonna miss these guys being under one name. Good luck to all of you!

All these people hating. Really makes me sick. "Nade sucks" What? He has been playing and practicing with Ricky more than both BigT and Scump. He does well at tourneys, and to be honest, he's more consistant than Scump online and on lan. I'm the kinda person that get's excited about change, so this is very exciting to me.

Take a look at nadeshot and the dark circles around his eyes. This guy puts his heart and soul into competitive gaming. Sure maybe he isnt the best, maybe he is even the worst competitive player, but that doesnt change what he has done for optic. He and Hecz have made it the most recognized team in MLG COD and you gotta give him creds for that. Its sad to see Scumpy and Merk and JKap and BigT all gone now but nadeshot is doing whats best for the team. Its obvious that things arent going well when they arent winning, so he knows that they have to change in order to win. As for Scumpy, maybe the optic house wasnt a good fit for him. Scumpy has always been a one man show, so trying to practice with a team for months on end was obviously just too much for him.
