thanks for sharing, this just what I'm looking for. Looking forward to hearing more of your newbie experiences. I'm right behind looking to break into the industry
Thanks for sharing, Tyler. I am new to the field, but also create content as well. I also saw your Advent of Cyber videos, those are awesome. I'm having a lot of fun learning both offensive and defensive cyber security
@@TylerRamsbey I really like it! Like you said there are so many smart people and so much too learn, what really motivates me :) 1 week ago I was also assisting on my first internal pentest, that was really nice! Even things like cracking hashes, which I don't like that much in labs, was so fun in a real test :D How are you doing? I hope you enjoy it! :)
Just came across your channel/video man, congrats! ( I see the date is 2022 lol) Its motivating to hear what you have to say about pentesting and your first day. What would you do differently if you had to start over and climb to being into becoming a pentester and acquiring the skills?
congrats on your new job, subscribed to watch your progress. I'm currently working toward my bachelors in cybersecurity with a goal of pen testing, I also want to relocate back to Seattle, is this company a good one to go for?
Hey! Yeah, I've been at Rhino now for almost a year. Really good firm with awesome people. We have a nice office in Seattle, but many of our consultants are remote (I live in South Dakota). Basically, you have the option of working in Seattle, being fully remote, or being hybrid. :)
I know that it’s been a year since u did this but how does one get into Pen Testing? I’m heading into my third year of college for my Cybersecurity degree and I’m interested in hacking. I don’t know how good I’ll be at it since I suck at coding so far.
Good to not see those "Bathroom at 6AM, Breakfast, Gym"
