That's Keith Richards not only on the guitar but he also filled in on that amazing bass. Their newest single was the # 1 song last month. Not bad for 80 year olds.
It's crazy to think that this song came out on 'Beggars Banquet' on December 6,1968, 55 years ago and this song's meaning just rings out deep. Learn your lessons or the devil will get your soul for disrespecting life. Love this song. Great reaction and happy to see you doing different genre of music.
Literally one of my favorite songs of ALL time! I remember being little and my pops was playing it and I was jamming too hard. When the song was over he asked me what it was avout and who was talking. Taught me the value of listening between beyond lyrics..
You could do a top 100 Rolling Stones list and have to leave some pretty damn good shit off that list. I highly recommend a great rabbit hole into these cats. I am 53 years old and this song is older than I am. They just released a new album in October and highly recommend the Song Sweet Sounds of heaven with Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder on keys. Must do the longer 7 minute version. Before that hit up Charlie Daniel's Band, The Devil Went Down To Georgia, live from Saratoga. Absolute positive FIRE!
Have always listened to the Stones since I was a child in the 60s and 70s. Very Blues inspired music. Listen to Gimme Shelter, Street Fightin Man, many others.
Great reaction! A person needs to look inside and not blame made up devils for what they’ve done themselves. “I’ll tell you one time, you’re to blame.”
I was10 or 11 when they had a concert at Milwaukee County Stadium and I wanted to play baseball and my freind had older sisters who were nuts about them .We didnt care we needed more guys to play a game of baseball
The craziest thing about this song is how early it is. 1968. Never a single…freaked out churches and parents, but it’s actually just an accurate history lesson
Take some recon from us 70s babies - We will (literally) ROCK YOU!. Next up Whole Lotta Love/Led Zeppelin. Thoughtful reviews/reactions and an open mind... Props.
Sympathy For the Devil is political .All the events are political. This is the 1st song on their most political album Beggar's Banquet in 1968 ( Salt Of The Earth, Street Fighting Man, Sympathy For The Devil)
Yeah man... Classic Rock is actually great!!! Check out basically anything by the Eagles: Hotel California, Lyin' Eyes, Take It Easy, Life In The Fast Lane... the list goes on and on!
The devil is basically saying of all the sins he has done, man is not that innocent either, man has conspired with me, and has done far worse things, so please have some sympathy on me..
When you think about it, white working class Brits played an amazing trick. All that African-American music that wasn't getting airtime stateside because of racism, was embraced by us. Not relating to the boring wartime music of their parents, those kids lived and breathed blues, soul and R&B since before they could walk, learned to play it, then we came to America to make it cool, and unlike say, Elvis, made damn sure the originators got their platforms and recognition as well. Those British Invasion bands changed music forever.
The Neptunes brought out a remix of this song and it was played on the radio a lot. Maybe that's why you know it. I've listened to different genres my whole life. As a teenager I loved Nirvana and WuTang for instance. Total opposites. Music has something for every mood. // The lyrics are about taking responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming the devil. The devil has been a scapegoat for so long, but it's humans that F up. So keep it real.
Probably should listen to Gimme Shelter next. You probably heard it before as well in a movie or elsewhere without knowing it was them and it's probably their best.
It's hard to believe that The Rolling Stones were predicting the crack that we're having to go through now. This song should be the same song for the communist democrat party in the United States
Hey can you react to Jay Park ? He's dropping a new single/mv tomorrow at 6p.m. KST. He has a solid fan base and is known to comment on ppls reaction videos.
It's a warning just in case you ever meet the Devil... best to show him some Sympathy and some taste or else he'll lay your soul to waste the way he did all those others mentioned in the lead up to his warning / toying with you...
Most follow Satan & Not Jesus Christ... Even the believers in Christ as full payment for their sins. That's why Paul wrote work out your salvation with fear and trembling... First off He said "Work out" not for because once we put our faith in Christ finished work we are saved till the day of redemption aka rapture... But it will be a fearful thing to stand in front of God which knows everything about you & all the opportunities we had to live for him and see others saved and yet we chose satan and the world.....

The song is written from the point of view of the Devil. He’s pretty much saying “humans commit these horrible atrocities and blame me. WTF?”
we all have him in us...I think your interpretation is correct.
gotta know some history for this song, its an education
There’s a reason that The Stones are the GOATs
By goat you mean satanic I assume
@@sigsour5421have some sympathy
Next up by the Stones should be Gimme Shelter. You will love the deep lyrics on that one too. One of the all time best rock and roll songs ever!

It's in an old movie "Jericho Mile" in a real prison and real inmates.
You gotta react to Rolling Stones songs Gimme Shelter, and try Out of Control from their Havana Moon live concert in Cuba.
Great reaction!

Keith Richards solo one of the best

Yes imma do it . Thanks for telling me
@@23rdMAB OMG thanks so much! 😱🤗
Tell you one time you're to blame, there's a lot of sense in those words!😮
The title can be misleading. It’s about recognizing that the devil is all of us and, if you don’t, he’ll lay your soul to waste!
It's a warning just in case you ever meet the Devil... best to show him some Sympathy and some taste or else he'll lay your soul to waste the way he did all those others mentioned in the lead up to his warning / toying with you...
Now you know what you're missing.
