Ok, it´s simple has this: Black Adam will be as powerful and strong as the writer/DC wants him to be. Take Batman, for instance. He´s the most popular superhero since the last 30 years. He can beat anyone. Why? Because he´s Batman...! It´s just popurality!
Black Adam is an interesting movie and I really enjoyed seeing the Rock. DC also loves to make Superman a martir and to make him a punching bag so, it´s quite clear to me that Dwayne Johnson controls now the future of DC. Black Adam is supposed to be the "new" Batman (popularity wise). It´s more that clear that Black Adam will kick Superman´s ass. Can´t see DJ wanting to have this project of several movies and not beating Superman. Truth is that Superman is that superhero that (almost) all people respect. However, in the current times people prefer Batman or even the anti-hero nature of Black Adam, and the boy scout persona of Superman is not that appealing or that popular. As a Superman fan, I can see him being beated by Darkseid, Doomsday, etc. But, without any Kryptonite, Red Sun (and even magic), I don´t see Black Adam beating Superman easily. However, popularity must win, so it´s pretty clear that Black Adam will beat Superman.

I think you need to,read a few more aboutthese guys, CAPTAIN MARVEL aka SHAZAM and BLACK ADAM are all on almost on par with each other. Also BLACK ADAM and CAPTAIN MARVEL are all have the power of GODS. And FYI POWER GIRL is a clone of SUPERGIRL. And SUPERMAN holds back when he fights.
