FYI: Question at the end for Alternate Ext listing. Under users, change the search limit from all to partition. Then you get an option for "Display Primary and Alternate Extensions in Selected Partition". That will show you the alternate extension for the users. Also BTW, I really get how you teach. You make it so clear and I just get it! Going to keep watching these videos. THANKS!
Hello John, I can't listen to the voicemail message in other side(other IP phone), what exactly I do to resolve this? all configuration I do same in your video, Thanks in advance.
There are any number of reasons why you can't retreive a voicemail left in a Unity Connection mailbox. This is not the best forum to ask for help with troubleshooting. I encourage you to post a question in the Cisco Community with some details on your CUC version, configuration, and a detailed description of your problem. Lots of very smart people spend time answering questions like yours and hopefully provide detailed help. Methods for creating users in CUCM are manually (slow, but easy), LDAP Integration (serious configuration required, but highly useful), and Bulk Administration Tool (bulk-creation if you can't use LDAP). Hello i have a problem when i integrate CUC with LDAP the extension number doesn't appear in the users tab and because of that i can't login into voicemail with Jabber but i can login voicemail with CUCM users.
Hello, All that I can think is that your LDAP users must have an extension in their LDAP profile. When they are synced into CUC, that number should follow them. If the number is present in LDAP but doesn’t import into CUC, you may have existing CUC users with that same extension. Thanks, John
@@SunsetlearningInstitute in import users tab i can see users with extension number but when i select import all it succeed but in users tab i dont see extension number
Users can be imported/synchronized from CUCM via AXL-integration, imported/synchronized from LDAP via LDAP integration, or can be imported using the Unity Connection Bulk Administration Tool Here is a link to the chapter on Users and user-creation from the Unity Connection System Administration Guide: www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/12x/administration/guide/b_12xcucsag/b_12xcucsag_chapter_011.html

@@SunsetlearningInstitute I was curious how it was accomplished without LDAP but I see it is required. Thanks.

How to add bulk users in unity
Users can be imported/synchronized from CUCM via AXL-integration, imported/synchronized from LDAP via LDAP integration, or can be imported using the Unity Connection Bulk Administration Tool
