I need to stop bringing myself down but I feel like running well = running fast. As much as I know the right things to feel and say to yourself, that’s my bottom line right now. Try and train him with a treat for crate. Sort of not a good idea to feed them where they sleep. Dogs are den animals. Teething give him frozen yogurt and peanut squares or whatever you give him. Plus redirect his biting with a favorite toy. Keep your hands away from his mouth. He’s such a cutie pie. Love him. Good video
I learned it was a good idea to feed them in crate for the first couple months to get a positive association with the crate! Yes redirecting with biting you is definitely what I see, thank you :) I’m so happy you love him
@@JennaHong ok that’s good. Obtained dogs snd we trained with treats for a positive vibe for crate training. Happy it’s working for you. I rescued 62 dogs in 13 years. I no longer do rescue💕
For the teething/biting phase, LOTS of redirection. Always have a toy in reach (your house will be a mess but it's worth it) and I would literally shove toys in my dogs mouth/face as she would go to bite. It requires you to be prepared and to anticipate it but I taught her that that's not how she interacts with me and if she started biting again, I would either redirect or get up and ignore (if I was on the ground with her). Also having frozen treats for her to chew on like frozen carrots, soak a clean sock with no sodium beef broth/bone broth and freeze it and let her chew on it, frozen smoothie cubes (fruit and veggies), frozen beans, the cold is great for their teeth! Lastly, if she was really pushing our boundaries, we would wrap our hand firmly around her snout and say a firm NO. Don't let go till they are calm. This method worked the best for us and it teaches them no. Those are just things that worked for me and my dog- good luck!!!

Ahhh you guys are shark teeth era! We used the no chew spray from Amazon and sprayed on our furniture - it worked so well lol. We always offer a toy or a chew or a game of tug whenever our puppy would have a biting fit lol it worked really well. We’d also freeze carrots sticks or just cut up carrots, our puppy loved chewing on it plus it’s healthy and good for the teeth! Started running bc I was inspired by you!

We learned from a trainer it helps bring a positive association with their crate! and helps us with potty training but it won't last forever :) and thank you so much
I Finally got a chance to finish up the book Things We Never Got Over and you were right, it was very good. Didn't realize it was such a sex novel though LOL.
Omg I remember the teething days... I got these super chewer rings for my Shih Tzu when he was around Beast's age. It is challenging for them to hold at first but then they get used to it, and they taste like bacon apparently
@@JennaHong No prob! Its super funny to watch them go from struggling to "I got this"! The ones I got were 100% edible/digestible too so you don't need to worry about any blockages or tummy upset!
The teething phase is so hard but the teenage phase is worse 😅. What helped us with the teething phase is ALWAYS having a toy to redirect them with and then spraying bitter apple on our hands
