I absolutely love this phone. Have had it for a while now and it has been excellent overall. It's easily as good as anything made by the other companies.
The thing that sets apart sony xperia is it age well compared to samsung, lg and htc. After 2 years it is still snappy. I would go for d s8 for the looks however at the end of the day I'll go with sony xzp. Not the most beautiful aesthetically but most dependable indeed. Matej Velican 1080p is good in everything like watching videos but when in viewing small text say like battery lvl or reading article 1080p is bad, 2k is the best

Sunny Bhai 4kdisplay is great. Battery life is super with heavy usage,. I impresed with the battery. The camera is great also. And i love the super slo mo. I recommend to use it on daytime. Overall i enjoy it so much. I think this is the fastest phone today by my experienced.

+Jibran Haider While PlayStation is a big deal, Sony built the XZ Premium based on their existing technology on great display, audio, and camera. While gaming experience on the phone is superb, the unique features of the phone are found in its display, camera, and audio.
Its alright...this super slow mode is borderline useless in day to day use as it only works in 2 second spans. For a company that makes amazing High Def Audio players this phone is only decent. For a company that makes amazing High Quality Cameras the shooter on this phone is only OK, if you can find something that will play 4k its is quite amazing what they did with the screen technology, otherwise its just a punchy 1080p screen. I would prefer Sony make a 2k display. They have bought in with JDI to have some bezelless phones released later this year or early next year so that should be interesting as I believe most consumers are turned off by the monoblock design when we live in a time where display technology can do more. This phone didn't need to exist as it brought nothing to the market that Sony didn't already have established (except for the useless slow motion) Over the past year Sony has released this exact phone 3 different times and still refuse to put a damn finger print scanner in the US version. Save your money and get the XA1.
There's probably a reason there isn't a scanner for the US. It would be more than just them not wanting to put one in. As for bezel-less - that's about as useful as a 4k display on a phone. Looks good, but also has some downsides.

I prefer 1080p screens. Why? Because you don't see pixels anyway on that "small" screen, but it saves your battery A LOT.
