@@TheFantomsLair I went beyond gigachad I bought two limited edition versions Eng and Jp also digitally… I really want Tsukihime remake to come to the west 🥲
I just finished the main story on new year's eve (still have to read the side content) and I must say it indeed is the best work of Nasu by far. Not only does it serve as a very quick introduction for the Nasuverse, it also benefits from its simplicity. Nasu somehow managed to avoid the pitfalls he falls victim to in his other works. No forced romance (although it feels at times as Nasu intended to ship Soujuurou with both Aoko and Alice but restrained himself at the last minute), no overly complex lore dumps (except how the Fifth worked), no badly written hentai scenes, no pretentious rambling over ideals and concepts, no edgyness for the sake of being edgy. Just Aoko, Alice & Soujuurou being themselves and interacting with each other/the support cast. I also liked Touko as a villain. Idk why people claimed that it's impossible that MahoYo Touko would ever become like KnK Touko. Both have the same personality. It's just that her rivalry with Aoko comes more into play here. That being said, Aoko is easily the best Type Moon protagonist and the best TM "tsundere". There I said it. She's essentially Rin, but even meaner at times and how she's treated as this force to be reckonned with gives her this presence and energy Nasu never recaptured in later protags and heroines. Alice is just precious. Both were such wholesome female leads. The biggest surprise for me was the church father though. Eiri Fumizuka was so based. Imagine Kirei but more bi-shounen. His dialogue with Soujuurou was one of my favorite scenes. MahoYo also has my favorite ending. Soujuurou and Aoko just talking about their backgrounds and wondering over the future, ending with Soujuurou's "happy new year" and both returning to the Kuonji mansion, cutting back and forth between them and the stars. And then the supercell song kicks in. I really liked the underlying theme of the story (the uncertain march into the future). The fights between the magicians were good as well. Not as over the top as FSN or TsukiRE but you can follow what happens. MahoYo is easily Nasu's best story and it stays consistently good while his other works have higher highs but unbearingly bad lows. I'm very interested in how the sequels turn out (even if I think they won't be as good as MahoYo 1).
@@mzxa9988 I'm not sure what the name but it took me an hour to even get working properly, and the translation of course wasn't good which I kind of expected. but the entire process takes me out of the game everytime I booted it up. So after a few hours of playing I just decided to wait and pray
@@mzxa9988 People overlook the mistakes far too much on the fantranslations due to them being fanmade. But my experience with FSN, Ataraxia and TsukiRe is that more often than not they try to take on more than they can chew and stick to their guns on universe terms even after Type-Moon has clarified the official terms. Because who the heck knows better about the author’s intents than the fans right?

Just finished this one and well, I'm not that versed in literature to say that it's a masterpiece or a must read, but nevertheless I've never seen characters behave so detached from their emotions yet so honest in their pursuit of their dreams being so well balanced by just one character. Aoko certainly stole the limelight and Alice most probably the hearts of many, but Soujuurou for me is the most unforgettable. Overall, an amazing experience and I hope as many as possible can enjoy it.

"Never play your Trump card 1st, you'll lose." I don't think this is always the case. I think there are absolutely situations where you can do this. Mostly in 1 vs 1(no other enemy after/in the future). Maybe your opponent is stronger overall fighter, but if your Trump card is a very special ability that catches people by surprise. By unleashing it right away before opponent can react, might sometimes damage them to much before they can react and lose due to taken too much damage to continue fighting.
It's been so long since I last heard Supercell. This hyped me up more than I thought it would. Hopefully Realta Nua and Tsukiremake come to the west too.
Mine just arrived today and I am happy. I buy the Nintendo switch version and I have no regrets despite not having a switch itself. I can always buy it later. @@justasoulsfan9805 I know that, I'm a Nasuverse fan. But Type-Moon's staffs is like only around 10-15 people, and add to the fact that this is around the early 2010's where they definitely didn't have access to such advanced technology because they're still a small company versus an entire anime production in 2020's who have everything that Type-Moon lacked in the past, even animation staffs.
