We have stayed at dozens of places in our travels; state parks, private campgrounds, RV resorts, BLM lands, and in national forests. We have found a spot in southern Utah that is easily one of our favorites. Between the closeness to necessities as well as to Zion National Park, it's hard to think of a better place to stay at… and it’s free! Nothing is perfect though. Even the most beautiful supermodel has their flaws. They may swear like a drunken sailor, be a raging kleptomaniac, or worst… a close talker! Accepting that every place has at least one thing in the con’s column opens you up to fully enjoying how great it can be. So come along with us as we take a deep dive into all the important details and look over the LaVerkin Overlook.

We camped there for two weeks with friends! Amazing place and so close to Zion!

I love that you actually did a "shout out" to the rattle snakes for not showing up. LOL
Maybe if they had picked up the truck bed liner 11 minutes in. Rattlesnakes like hiding under things that get warm.
New subscriber, great video. We've not been west, with our Class A, hopefully with a newer rig when we go full time next year we'll make it out that way.

You found a great spot. Can't go wrong with free spots. We haven't been out west in our RV yet, but hoping to do so this summer. I'm glad you addressed the safety issue. That's one of the things we're concerned about when boondocking. good to know about the wind factor. we have a tiny travel trailer. Looking forward to checking out your next video. Safe travels. We have boondocked alot especially towards West. We do suggest boondocking out west. You get alot of absolutely gorgeous views and spots. We will always include safety in our reviews because safety obviously comes first and foremost when boondocking. Thank you for watching and we are happy yall enjoyed.

Hi friends. This looks incredible. We've not been out West but Zion is on our list for sure. Love that you were able to get some space all to yourself without being surrounded by people. It was so great to see you Monday night. Hope we get to see you back again!!

Thank you for watching, the roads were very pitted but we saw alot of vans, fifth wheels, Travel trailers, and a small converted bus if that helps. I will say in that area there where tons of places to boondock with better roads in. We happen to get there on a Friday and stayed for 2 weeks.
It looks so great there!! We so nearly made it to Zion but it was the middle of November and the weather was getting pretty stormy. Another time maybe. I'll just have to watch your awesome videos to show me what we missed 😀💜🙌

This looks like a great spot, love that desert area and having a nice town nearby is great and while we were our traveling last summer to Wyoming we definitely loved going to Maverick stores. Looking forward to your adventures, just subscribed ! Woman watch murder shows to let you know at any time she could hide all the evidence, lol !!

ROFL. I thought I was the only one that loved murder shows. I need a good 48 hours or Forensics Files programs just before bedtime.
Yessss! I'm (Jessica) the same way! I watch alot of "Snapped" and murder documentaries. Forensic files i love to. Haha
We are new to camping on BLM land, and have a van. Do you think we could put up a small tent to save our spot while we are visiting the park?
Could someone please answer this question! How do you know where the spots are? Will be SUV camping and I don’t want to have bad etiquette, but I have no idea how I’d determine where the spots are.
We use the freeroam app and also freecampsites.net we have used both of those to find our spots.

You should end up finding better spots then us due to you traveling in a suv rather than a fifth wheel or a pull behind trailer.
